I love the layout. The functionality is the best that I have used. The Google Calendar integration is awesome Love it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support is very helpful and great but it does take a little while to hear back at this time. That will get better Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Every feature is so well thought out. Just like my obsession with words -- make every word count -- the Upbase team has cut all the fat and bloat that you find in many other project management apps and made every feature count.
And it's so simple to use. Power + Simplicity with every feature added done with utmost thought and care. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've heard others express concern minimal integrations currently available, however, that's not an issue for me. Being able to embed and work on Google docs within Upbase and create docs directly within Upbase to work on with clients is all I need and simply wonderful not to have to go to an external app to work on copy and content. Evaluated almost all productivity apps (40+ solo and workgroup) - this app is an _order of magnitude_ better than anything I've seen - extremely well-designed architecture supports drag n drop folder-list-task-subtask hierarchy, custom fields, integrated notes and docs, and scheduling. Use it for both personal productivity and full-stack app dev projects - simple for the former, as detailed as I need for complex projects. Drag n drop wekly-daily scheduling facilitates organizing disparate tasks into a unified daily plan. --> Although this is a relatively new entry in the productivity market, it's already functionally rich (enough to warrant migration off my current TM and PM toolset). Excellent balance between ease-of-use and feature set, so managing tasks is actually enjoyable. Support is awesome - response in LT 12 hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
no free coffee. Need custom fields added to filter options, but Upbase has already confirmed this on the planned backlog list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've tried dozens of productivity tools. What I like best about Upbase is that it's simple enough to work for the solopreneur. Also, Upbase doesn't force a specific approach. It's flexible so you can use it in the way that works best for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It not so much a dislike, more of a wishlist item: I would like a guided process to set up the coming week and day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been looking for an Asana alternative and this tool does just that. Creating projects and tasks is very easy and simple. The internal chat feature is a great addition. Although we use Slack, it's still a great option to have when discussing specific projects. The only thing missing is the fact that you can cannot create subtasks of substasks like Asana. I hope they add this feature. Even without this feature, the tool is great for even the average user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main feature that's missing is the inability to create subtasks of subtasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate platform's essential features like time blocking, a Pomodoro timer, and daily notes, all in one place. I also love Upbase's intentionally minamallistic design. Its clutter-free user interface minimizes distractions, allowing me to focus on my work without feeling overwhelmed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be great if there were a way to duplicate the docs I create on the fly. Currently, it is posible by creating templates, but a duplicate feature just makes things a bit more efficient for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is easy to use and has a simple interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It lacks many important features, integration options are limited, and customer support is not very responsive. Implementation was easy, but the tool doesn’t fully meet my needs for frequent use. I used it daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has comprehensive task management such as a task list etc. Calendar and Timeline which helps to prioritize the tasks.Chat which helps to share the details within the groups. A shared workspace helps the team communicate easily and maintain tags based on priority. Mobile apps are designed for both Android and IOS. It can also be integrated to various third party such as Google Drive to collaborate easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Often there is no notification received like if the task is added or chat received etc. It has a documentation option where it would be better if they organize the name of who has added those documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Upbase is an incredible project management, tasks planner, calendar(time-blocker ), note-taking, and team collaboration app for 2024. It’s so effective that it should be on everyone’s computer and mobile phone. Especially for students and teachers, it's a must-have app. As a working professional, I found it to be a life-changer. It offers a highly inspiring, minimalist UX that enhances productivity. Upbase combines all the features of Notion, Ankiflow, Reclaim.ai, and Todoist into one universal productivity app. Mac should take note and consider replacing its Notes and Reminders apps with Upbase. Despite its low price, a single day's use can save enough time to cover the cost of a year’s Upbase membership. The developers should reach out to universities and encourage chancellors to make it the default app for all teachers and students. It’s truly a game-changing app. Currently, I use it for my personal work and studies, and I plan to encourage its use as a project planning app in my company. It has all the capabilities to excel in project and/or personal workflow management. Kudos to the team for creating such a mind-blowing app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
More config options like individual and team in settings so that chat, messages, created by you, assigned to you options will go away. More drag and drop options everywhere. More config options every(hide/show) so that UI should look more minimal. These are not must to have but some users these may help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In our organization we are using upbase for managing our works follow up the tasks and also we can chat with our team mates, All in one tool is a good and easy to organise Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some glitches are there in this tool, so it slow downs the application Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have tried many project management tools before (and who hasn't 😅), but this one is the one that has REALLY helped me keep all my projects organized and stay on top of everything. I got to understand it and work with it in no time, and I like how simple the interface is, and even though they keep adding features at a good pace, they always find ways to integrate them so the interface remains simple and easy to understand.
I use it every day and overall I really like how this software works; it is fast, and the organization suits me very well. It is easy to collaborate with team members, organize my week in different views, add and organize projects, add colorful tags to organize tasks across projects, link tasks and documents as "related" items, and use the convenient bar at the bottom to add tasks, documents, and more for easy access. I really enjoy using Upbase and I am very happy that I found it.
Every time I had to contact customer support to report small bugs or ask questions, they got back to me promptly and replied kindly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a young platform, and even if it is fully-featured, well-thought-out, and easy to use, you can sometimes encounter a small bug here and there that makes some things a bit more complicated than necessary. But, in general, they are fast to fix them.
One thing I really don't like is the chat feature, I think it would need to be redone completely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
