The ease of editing email templates and ability to edit & segment marketing lists as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it would easily integrate with more CRM systems and allow for marketing automation. In addition to being able to link more events with Zapier.
You aren't able to see a recipients actions throughout their lifetime based on email address. So I can't open open John Doe and see all the emails I send him and which ones he opened and clicked.
I'm also not a big fan that the "send" button is right next to the "save" button. I've definitely sent a communication out to contacts on accident before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SendGrid is definitely geared toward a B2B client like me. I frequently upload lists from events we participate in and it doesn't block them like some other platforms I've tried. I like the segmentation options in the lists. Templates are all responsive. Sending is quick and I get good stats on the overall campaign. I can automatically delete the records that have hard bounces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many things - but I've given feedback and I know they're working on them!
1) Can't change a contact's email address! If someone changes their address you have to delete the contct record and create a new one
2) Campaign info at the contact level is non-existent (ie I can't look at a contact record ano know what they've done for a specific campaign)
3) You can't sort or limit by date in the activity reports (shows you who did what kind of activity - open, unsub, click, etc)
4) If you're not an HTML pro customizing the templates is difficult.
5) Can't send a test email of the text version
6) If I need to send a campaign to a couple additional people I have to clone the campaign and create a new list with just those 2 people
7) Doesn't integrate easily with Salesforce so I have to manually add or upload new records Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SendGrid is as simple or as full-featured as you want it be. I'm just using SendGrid to send transactional emails from my application, and SendGrid made it incredibly easy to send out white labeled emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that the activity field had more information - for example, I'd like to see specifically what the body of a delivered message was or which link it was that a user clicked.
Templating could be improved drastically. I wish that there was some sort of CSS inlining feature, like mailchimp has. For example, I wish I could pass in a body message with several classes applied to elements throughout, and SendGrid would then replace that class with the inline styles associated with that class. I like that it integrates well with click funnels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
nothing comes to mind at this point. It is used in the backend to send emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Good for simple straight forward email marketing campaigns and very easy to upload a pre-designed template. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Visual editor is very difficult to use. Limited ability to automate marketing campaigns. Probably one of the largest challenges is how slow it is. It seems to take a long time to navigate between pages of the site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to find bounced and dropped emails, and reasons for them to quickly resolve issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find the search facets to be a little confusing - am I searching all activity? Only bounces? I find myself restarting searches often to make sure I'm not searching in the wrong place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sendgrid has a really nice dashboard and automatic tracking for links, clicks and google analytics. Way better than most competitors out there and I don't need to write some intergration code this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The setup takes time. Usually with other mail providers I can instantly start sending emails. Mandrill also has really nice starting tutorials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's incredibly easy to implement and use. Also very cost effective platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
More feature sets, continue to expand the offerings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sendgrid is constantly collecting feedback from its users and improving their core products. I like how flexible their payment tiers are and how versatile their products are. Their customer support is top-notch as well and have a great developer support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the management portal for searching through email logs or going through reporting. They seem to be improving the design of this however. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Great system, fits all our needs. We have many technical complexities and it's very accommodating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
