**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I live and die by Tripleseat! As an event planner, everything I do starts and ends with Tripleseat. I receive and respond to inquiries, create proposals, convert to contracts, and accept payments all within Tripleseat. I am able to immediately see my new inquiries and respond via mobile or desktop with ease. The ability to respond so quickly sets me apart from competitors. I am able to create proposals and BEOs in near record time using Tripleseat and the customized menus and fields. It's a one-stop shop and my secret weapon when responding to clients' ever-changing needs. Tripleseat feels fresh and new compared to what I was using before, Caterease, which felt super dated. The initial setup of Tripleseat was quite simple too.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I initially had trouble customizing reports. I couldn't figure it out! Perhaps I didn't see them, but if there were some tutorials or demos to watch that provide a step by step guide on how to create and pull customized reports, that would be super helpful!

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tripleseat to handle inquiries and create proposals quickly. It lets me respond instantly to clients, setting me apart in the field. The platform's customized menus streamline my workflow, making it a one-stop shop for changing client needs.

I like that Tripleseat makes it really easy to run reports across different sectors.

I really don’t have any complaints. It’s very easy software to use.

I don’t have to dig through a million different places just to find past conversations with clients or track down information I might be missing. The task feature is a godsend and makes it so much easier to stay on top of everything.

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

One of the standout features of this platform is how incredibly customizable it is. The ability to tailor reports to our exact needs has been a game-changer. Whether we need a high-level overview or a deep dive into specific data points, the reporting tools allow us to create exactly what we need with ease.

The custom fields are another major plus—they give us the flexibility to track the information that matters most to our team and vendors, instead of being locked into a one-size-fits-all format. It’s great to be able to collect and organize data that aligns with our unique workflow.

Event profile listings are also fully customizable, allowing us to present each event in a way that reflects our brand and clearly communicates key details. This level of control has made our event pages more informative, engaging, and professional.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

The only negative thing I can think of is how overwhelming it felt upon first glance; this is not a flaw of the program, but a testament to how much available on the website.

We had information spread across tons of platforms. Tripleseat is a catch-all for contracts, invoicing, everything we need to manage our multiple on-site venues.

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

TS is great at managing our venues multiple event space options simultaneously. It has a high level of customization so you can make the functionality very specific to our venue.

The document share features create a great work flow with customers and the guest portal helps keep everything in a convenient place for the customers. Making going back for reference easy.

For the most part the customer support is very good.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

How the discussions or email system works is a little clunky. They have improved it over time, but it is still not as easy or intuitive as a traditional email platform. 

Exporting event data to a third party calendar like Google takes a random amount of time to update. They say it has to do with how often Google scrubs for new data, but I feel like this should be automatic.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For keeping all things event wise in one place is very helpful. From data entry and management all the way to financial tools like payment and reporting.

the calendar overview - allows me to quickly reference what events I have coming up.

the messaging system - it combines all messages in my  work email.

I am solving the issue of double booking events. The calendar tab allows me to see what is scheduled on each day, and flags any bookings that may overlap.

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

The fact that I can keep all event communication in one place is incredibly helpful. Being able to filter events is super helpful as well. It is also great to have all of the leads in one central place.
Also being able to share the calendar with Outlook is great for Chefs.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

Formatting issues in documents remains a constant struggle. 

Trying to paste with matching destination formatting works sometimes. But not always. Often times all paragraph breaks are removed. 

Line spacing remains an issue as well.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tripleseat keeps track of all of our events across our various restaurants. We are a big hospitality group, so this really helps everyone to be on the same page.

I really enjoy using Tripleseat for managing my event bookings. It keeps everything organized in one place, from leads to contracts and payments. The interface is user-friendly, and it saves me so much time. It’s a game-changer for my business!

While Tripleseat is helpful overall, there are a few things I like the least. Some features can be a bit confusing or take time to learn, and occasional glitches slow me down.

Tripleseat is solving the problem of disorganization and inefficiency in managing events, especially when handling multiple bookings, communications, and contracts. Before, I had to juggle different tools for leads, emails, and payments. Now, everything is in one place, which saves time, reduces mistakes, and helps me stay on top of every event detail. It also makes communication with clients smoother and more professional.

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

I like that there are tons of customizable options for creating forms and logging event details! We add new drop downs and content templates almost daily. This is really helpful for expediting our planning processes and tracking clients.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I dislike that our clients often have a hard time receiving our tripleseat discussions because they are either confusing or go directly to spam. I don’t know if this is a tripleseat issue or our clients have certain content blockers, but it’s an issue we run into quite frequently. 

Also, contacts and accounts are often very confusing and i think there are ways to make those processes easier and simpler.

Tripleseat allows us to capture all incoming events, plan those events with banquet orders and keep an organized calendar

I've been using Tripleseat at every venue I have worked at since 2014, and it's consistently made my job easy.  Highly recommend! I can't imagine doing my job without it.

The interface can feel a bit clunky at times, especially for new users.

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

Triple Seat houses all my leads, contacts, and accounts. Associated documents I need (BEOs, contracts, proposals, etc.) are created on TS and are easy to share and keep all in one place. My templates, photos, and decks are shared through TS and helps the event planning process remain seamless.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

No downsides, per se, but once we're able to submit and receive payments on Triple Seat- it will be even more seamless without having to deal with third party payment systems.

It helps me create proposals and connect with clients quickly. The majority of my leads come directly from Triple Seat

I love the fact that tripleseat is easy to use due to the tripleseat university as well as the yearly classroom conference. It gives us a chance to connect with other individuals and share best practices to make my daily work load manageable!

It would be nice to have an automatic feedback button that can be sent to the guest post event (like a survey)

TripleSeat is not only a fantastic platform for CRM, but the connection to EventUp has brought our off-strip restaurant into a spotlight with the resort restaurants in Las Vegas. The relationship with have with the team members at TS has been incredibly helpful as well. Very user friendly

We wish the email portal was a bit more user friendly, and we look forward to more AI integration

I self told me this platform, as I had to take over events at my employment and it has been so amazing to use, easy to learn even tho it was on my own! and the class was very very instructive! online university its also a super plus

no auto correct! and that it may go to spam as it comes in a not direct form sometimes

How convenient the software is to house all my event details. Creating leads, saving guest contact information and adding in Contacts / Event Orders and more. It’s one software that does it ALL.

I dislike that in discussions the email thred format is horizontal  and not vertical it would be nice  to have it vertical  and on the right side of the page. I also would like it if somehow if the emails from outlook were checked it would automatically  disappear  the notification  on triple seat discussions. Also if the was an option  to have a separate page for holding next day orders that could just be accessed  directly.

The new layout  is a better with a small learning curve.

That the team is very responsive and the reporting section is very thorough.

I do not believe it’s made well for conference/event spaces, it’s more user friendly for the restaurant industry as many of the features and tabs are not needed and there are several features that are needed that aren’t available or you need a upgrade to utilize it.

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

It's my one-stop shop for private events and even major events at our facility. The templates save me so much time when I'm responding to a lead, and it's way better than just using Gmail to correspond with clients. Some other users recommended it, and it does not disappoint so far!

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

There is still some functionality to the program that could be better, such as creating one lump payment over multiple agreements. Reporting can be a bear sometimes, and it would be nice to customize the financial side, which also has some confusing segments. But, I believe over time Tripleseat will grow along with its customers.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tripleseat gives me the tools in one space for every touchpoint I would have with a client, such as document folders, correspondence, agreements, and so much more. It saves me so much time from searching for where I saved/stored/placed information for events.

I love how easy it is to use. All the data that can be collected. I love all the tools they provide as well as the yearly class :) I’ve learned so much from it

I wish there was a feature for guest to do surveys after their event and we are able to collect that data from every guest

The easy accessibility and user friendly guides & Customer Support and training for the user. The outreach for sales and PCI Compliance for CC storage and use.

To launch Event the long delay and wish it had a set format to send CC receipts.

I was very exited to learn more about tripleseat.They have informed us of several ways to schedule notifications for ourselves and automate emails to customers, which will assist in encouraging repeat business and many more. Team was very helpful and friendly. Also l had chance to interact with industry people. Can’t wait to have other class. Highly recommend.

- The Customizable Documents.
- The calendar, makes it super easy to have an overall overview of what is coming up 
- The Customer Support. The team is incredibly responsive every time we have had some issues

- No toast integration
- The mobile version could use some work

I wouldn't say that it is solving problems as much, it is helping us manage the events for our venue all in one place which is great. We are in the process of trying the Eventup to generate more leads, will see if we notice a difference!

**What do you like best about Tripleseat?**

TripleSeat really streamlined our busines opperations. We love that we can make contracts, banquet event orders, billiing, and specific reports! Does everything we need it to! TripleSeat is easy to use on the client interface and business side. Customer support has been great as we need help,  they get the answers to us quickly.  We were onboarded from GatherHere and the intergreation was seamless, their dedicated team helped us to create our picklists etc. We use tripleseat everyday in our business!

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

I wish clients could make payments on own, if they decide one day they want ot pay $500 towards their balance then they could go in and apply that payment without their manager having to make that payment link available.

**What problems is Tripleseat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to do nearly everything in one place. we can create BEO's for the hotel and we can plan with the client, budget management, etc.

Tripleseat is a wonderful software for my colleague and I to seamlessly stay on the same page with communication, invoices and payments. We also like the Kenect and open table integration

Would like cisterns service by phone instead of leaving a message and getting a phone call back

The most helpful aspect of Tripleseat is its ease of use. The interface is intuitive and there are often more than one way to complete a task.

The most frustrating part of using Tripleseat is its ‘Discussions’ feature. Initials emails to clients often end up in their spam folder.

The only downside to Tripleseat is that you cannot Cc someone else in an email discussion.

My biggest ask is to make recurring events easier. If an event happens every Tuesday it would make my life easier to be able to do that automatically like you can on outlook, rather than having to put it in manually.

The software is fairly easy to use and learn.

**What do you dislike about Tripleseat?**

The price of service has been going up 5% each year for the past 3 years. They used to help with updating our documents, but now they are not so helpful after being with them for almost 7 years.

They try their hardest not to update the documents that you use to create contracts. They want you to do it yourself. If you want them to update the contract then you have to pay $125/hour for their "Professional Service Reps" to update it for you or you can wait over two weeks for them to do it at no extra charge.

Their CRM is very helpful to keep track of clients, events, payments, and electronic documents.
