I find Toddle super easy to use. Although I was a bit resistant at first because I'd only experienced one type of grade book, Toddle's ease of navigation, finding tasks, and entering grades and assignments quickly won me over. It's intuitive, and I appreciate that the most. I hope it becomes even more intuitive over time, which would be awesome. It's important for me to spend as little time as possible in Toddle so I can focus more on planning my teaching and giving students feedback. The efficiency Toddle offers helps me be a better teacher and allows me to focus on what I want to do in the classroom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I really wish I could enter and edit standards myself in Toddle instead of relying on site administrators. It feels like a simple change that would make things a lot easier for me. Right now, I have to reach out to someone else for changes, and then wait to see it's done. Also, when entering assignments, I find setting open and due times a bit tedious with all the clicking. It would help a lot if I could set a default time, like 03:15 PM, for opening and closing assignments to avoid so many clicks. Another thing is the order of assignments in the gradebook seems arbitrary, maybe based on creation date, but I would love to have the option to sort or toggle their order to better fit my style. If I could move columns easily, it would be awesome, since I like organizing my digital life. Lastly, a simple tool like a flag for missing assignments, similar to what Schoology had, would be super helpful. I used to rely on visual cues like an orange hexagon for missing work, and having something similar in Toddle would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
