I actually learned about this site from a collegue who also uses it and I asked how to set it up on my computer. I've been taking notes and recording at the same time which is really a hassle but tl;dv made my life so much easier. I use it everyday now and setting it up is so easy as well. I've integrated it both on google meets and zoom where we usually conduct our meetings and if you encounter some problems, their customer support and FAQs is very helpful as well. I think this is built to ease my life and I find every feature very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I did not know how much I really needed tl;dv until I began to use it. This program makes it that much simpler to engage with people while making sure you get the most crucial details with just one click of a button.
If you're one of those people who converse with several clients or groups every day, this app is a godsend. Rather than fumbling for pens and paper or straining your memory to recall important points, tl;dv captures meetings and transcribes them, so you can do what matters most—get things done.".
The capacity to instantly jump to critical points in calls and comment with ease has totally transformed the way I deal with calls. If you're all about efficiency, clarity, and keeping ahead of conversations, this is your app. Strongly recommend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
tl;dv is an incredibly useful tool, and although transcriptions are usually correct, some words can require a speedy check, particularly with accents or technical jargon. It does take a little while to completely get into your workflow, but once you know how to use it, it is a vital productivity enhancer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that the service treats its users carefully and guarantees the confidentiality of their data. I am also impressed by the friendly interface of the site, which makes the use process simple and enjoyable. And thanks to a fairly smart AI assistant in the support chat, which can often help without the participation of a small project team (tl;dv), I have fewer reasons to contact support. I'm still a little confused about the interface, but I can't offer any specific ideas to improve it yet. As soon as they appear, I will definitely share them with the support.
Also want to share: when company member asked to share your review about product and offer gift for that, he definitely shouldn't ghost after publication without gift ;) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What stands out most about tl;dv is its seamless functionality. I can go from meetings to having customized notes without any extra effort, followed by a weekly summary that keeps everything organized. The ability to search across all meetings for specific mentions is a game-changer, making it easy to track key discussions. On top of that, the integration with my CRM ensures that all communication is automatically synced with the relevant contacts—no manual input needed. The support question I had was answered by the co-founder Carlo very quickly and effectively. In addition, starting to use it wihth non technical people is a breeze. It’s an invaluable tool for both fundraising and operations in a nonprofit setting, saving an incredible amount of time. We use it on every meeting!
PS. I am sorry this came out too positive, but I am super impressed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Haven't found anything yet in the 2 months of using it. Will report back with findings if such arise.
PS The addition of a mobile app would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For my work which includes interviewing candidates over Google meet, the tl;dv tool has made choosing the right candidates more efficient. Whenever I have a specific question and don’t wanna watch through the whole interview again I ask the AI integrated into the software questions and it goes through the interview and answers my question. I’ve only used it now for about a month, so I’ve not noticed any particular things yet that bother me about the experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the best features of tl;dv is its seamless integration with Google Calendar. It automatically records all my scheduled meetings, allowing me to review notes and listen to recordings if I happen to miss a session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am currently using the free version, where recordings are archived after just three days. Extending this to at least a week would be much more helpful, providing users with more flexibility to catch up on important meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I’ve been using TL;DV for a while now after evaluating many options, and even though I started with the free plan, I recently upgraded to the paid plan, and the difference is fascinating. Since I work in market research, it’s incredibly useful for capturing insights from interviews and analyzing the transcripts in detail, which are flawless—even in different languages (I’ve tested it in Spanish, English, English with people from the Middle East, and English with people from India). So, I’d say it’s pretty much foolproof. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I’d add, at least for now, is an analysis of people’s reactions based on visible emotions in the video. That would be interesting to analyze their predisposition to certain things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
tl;dv is the best tool I’ve used for recording French conversations, excelling even with fast speech and poor audio by accurately capturing the discussion. It’s amazing for reviewing key points via timestamped summaries, offers customizable templates for sharing relevant insights, and has an easy-to-use interface with helpful tutorials. Plus, the option to organize recordings by project keeps everything streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There aren’t any major dislikes about tl;dv, but there’s always room for improvement. For example, the interface could better support uploading multiple recordings at once and clarify the difference between uploading and processing statuses. Beyond these minor quality-of-life tweaks, there’s nothing significant to dislike about the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It makes my work easier by automatically recording, summarizing, and documenting meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, the transcription may have small errors, especially in technical terms or stronger accents, the values. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
After testing Otter, Leexi, Fathom, Supernormal, Tactiq, Notta and Fireflies (yes I really did test all of them), I can say that tl;dv is the best value for money among all these AI notetakers. On par, with Fathom but tl;dv is european which is a must for my company.
Easy to setup, easy to use, versatile (Meet, Zoom, Teams), accurate (tested in french and english), highly customizable with report templates and the "ask AI" feature, affordable (around 250€ for unlimited yearly plan)
And it integrates nicely with Zapier allowing thousands of integrations.
The support is very responsive too.
I use it every day for every meeting, even with phone recordings.

I really enjoy using it, compared to other notetakers, as it allows you to choose: whether to reccord or not at each call, when to start recording, who it'll be shared to... which is important to remain in control of, IMO, especially in my consulting business where what's said during calls is literally what I'm paid for. I think it still misses a few features, but I'm sure they'll be added soon as they seem to really listen to their customers' request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
