It's easy to set up with just a few clicks. The software sends email alerts during events, which helps reassure us that we take proper action in a timely manner. The support was great in that they were able to assist in the same hour. The DNS filtering that is applied and the security in which the program cannot be manipulated on the client machine makes it even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Threatdown is a fantastic piece of software. Its cost is high, but its security seems to be on par. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The setup and installation are incredibly intuitive and easy to complete. I was able to set up an entire office of 50 systems within minutes, compared to the hours that other products take. The GUI is set up in a way that puts all the critical information right at your fingertips, so you feel like you have your finger on the pulse of the organization. The alerts are easy to read and understand, not to mention very quick. You are aware of any system that has been compromised in seconds, and the program is already taking the necessary steps to remediate the threat! I already highly recommend this to other MSPs that offer cybersecurity as part of their client offering! There are also multiple integrations with the major RMM/PSA tools that are used in the industry, so it eliminates one less location you need to review to identify client issues. Customer Support is flawless. They have been extremely helpful a couple of times when I required assistance, and they were extremely quick to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I know that it is on their roadmap, but I would like to see more integrations into other MSP tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The new 7 day ransomware rollback is awesome, previously it was 3 days rollback and now we have a full week of rollback, purely awesomeness. I also love the Managed Detection and Response Option now. Now i can sleep without worrying too much for our tiny I.T. Dept Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dont like the ThreatDown name.Currently, there is a problem that has been surfacing where the malwarebytes icon on the desktop is no longer working, the shortcut broke just about on all desktop and server clients. it will still run in the system tray but if a user wants to manually scan from the desktop the path says its unavailable . ThreatDown is something I reference daily in my job.
The interface is easy to navigate, and I can see if there are issues or not quickly.
With the email alerting I can jump on any detections quickly to minimize potential blast radius.
We were able to setup the console and deploy agents within a day.
It runs along side Windows defender, and integrates with little hassel.
Customer support has always been responsive. The Sales and Technical teams really listen to thoughtful feedback.
Many of the ideas I have requested have been implemented. I know it wasn't all me, but the customers really do guide the development priorites, and than means something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Threat Down used to have alacart licensing which allowd for a fine granularity to get only what you want.
They license their server agents seperately which doesn't help us a ton since we don't really require the more advanced features with the eception of only a couple of servers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Threatdown is an important tool used in securing our network. The ease of use in administering the workstations and servers in everything from detections to updating and vulnerabilities greatly assists us in securing the network. The interruption to users is very minimal and no performance issues are caused by the software. The cloud administrator interface is excellent in allowing me to monitor the network remotely from even my phone. And we have only had a few false positives in the past years running the software. It has however stopped thousands of infected websites and malware files as well as.a targeted ransomware attack. I would highly recommend Threatdown as a tool in securing your businesses network as part of a cybersecurity organizational plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside we have experienced is the very rare false positive but it is easily rectified by the administrator through the cloud panel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the behavior it has as an antivirus. If you run any "pirate" installer, threatdown automatically deletes it and it disappears, although it is actually in quarantine. If it turns out that the file is good or you need to run it for any reason, from the central console of Nebula ThreatDown you can tell it to restore the quarantined file and even create an exception for that file, all with a single click. Easy and effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like that when it quarantines a file in question, it gives us the option to keep it and/or add an exception. Since if not, the ThreatDown administrator always has to do it. I imagine that otherwise people would execute everything. Maybe better this way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
centralized control allows us to protect users around the globe from a central location and also allows us to react to threats very quickly and efficiently Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The way you apply polices and DNS filtering policys could be improved. I would be great if you could apply to username and not just to endpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The product is very reliable , does not interfere with windows or mac normal operation, the vulnerability scanning and patch management are better than most RMM's and it has a nice intuitive platform for small MSP's and IT sysadmins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
it is missing some points that would make it a complete tool for the Australian ACSC Essential 8 like Application control whitelisting currently it only does blacklisting meaning you have to specify the apps you don’t want. it would be much better as a tool if you only whitelisted the apps you want to allow and block the rest. also the application hardening is a bit hidden in submenus. its there if you know where to look and once you know it its easy to use.
id like to see more direction on compliance , MITRE attack alignment and Essential 8 ACSC compliance alignment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The administrative console is easy to work with and implement, and Malwarebytes is always working to help bring data to the forefront so that you can see information on your environment more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Malwarebytes is offering ThreatDown in different bundles instead of letting you pick and choose which modules you want. This started happening late 2023. The price difference because of the bundles has not been very large, but it is nice when you can pick and choose, but it is a little too early for me to know which way is better yet.
