What do you like best about TheraNest?

standard features are solid, generally enjoy the work flow and integration of documentation and billing, scheduling was solid but recent changes have broken some features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TheraNest?

Lots of small user interface issues that make flow slower. Recently cancellation upgrades have broken a useful way to mark people with cancellation reasons, the upgrade was not an improvement. Work flow of documenting is slower when having to return to previous pages. Tutorials are difficult to follow and don't often address issues presented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TheraNest?

I have used TN for many years now. It allows me to manage my entire practice in just one site. I do my billing, scheduling, communication, clinical notes. They are Always striving to improve the site, introducing new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TheraNest?

They don't have a mobile app for scheduling on the go. I created an app that takes me to their website. That is not as fast and user friendly as if they provided an app. Calendar is not two way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TheraNest?

The customer service has been really exceptional. I love the ease of customization. It was incredibly easy to learn the system and integrate it into our practice. The cost is straightforward and I love that the number of practitioners is not a factor in the cost since I work extensively with interns who sometimes have very small client lists and I don't believe I would have the funding available to pay for it if it were pay per practitioner. I also love the ease of the online scheduling system. That has saved me countless hours on phone calls and emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TheraNest?

There are a couple of features I have wishlists for improvement. I wish that the scheduling showed all available times and then who the practitioner is until they have an assigned person and then when logged in, it would just show that person's openings. I also wish that when we transferred clients that the interns could see the prior records. There is also one feature that may cause me to leave this platform. University students come and go in therapy and can go months between sessions so we archive them, but then they can't schedule without us having to take a phone call or email to unarchive them. I wish that they could still schedule while in archive and then we just had to unarchive them in order to confirm the appointment. This would honor the billing system of only billing for active clients but keep people from having to make contact to be removed from archive. It is VERY cumbersome and I worry that some students just go without scheduling because they won't call/email and they can't just schedule on their own. Truthfully, I have started looking at other platforms for next academic year because this piece just doesn't really work for our agency evne thougth I love so many other things about Theranest. One other wishlist that just occured to me, I wish I could set different default filters for each view on the schedule e.g. on the agenda view, I wish I could default to just me so I don't have to scroll forever to complete my notes, but I would like the staff view to have everyone so I can see what is happening in the agency with one click. The other option would be a button on the staff view for add progress note which would work well too. I also wish I could create a default initial email for the organization instead of having to add to it every time I want to send an invitation. It is possible for the reminders but not for that default email that I have found. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TheraNest?

What do you like best about TheraNest?

I have been using EHR systems since 2019, and Theranest is probably the best of all the systems I use. It's not perfect (the telehealth video platform continues to be lackluster but workable). They seem to be working on making improvements on the platform and listen to feedback. Would recommend to people who want a simple system that actually works! What do you like best about TheraNest?

My favorite thing about Theranest is that is basically a plug and play kind of set up. While you can notmodify it much, you can usually find a work around to gather the info needed. We have been successfully using the telehalth platform for both group and individual sessions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
