What do you like best about The Org?

Internally, we love how the Org allows us keep an org chart that people actually want to reference. Externally, the Org allows us to connect to potential candidates: it brilliantly and compellingly provides a summary of our people and culture Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Org?

Nothing to dislike - the Org does exactly what we want it to (but we would, of course, like to see more integration options - namely Rippling) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Org solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is difficult for potential new hires to get a sense of the team and culture prior to joining: the Org allows us to give a glimpse into what life at Air is like. The Org also provides a more dynamic org chart - as our company grows, it is important that our teams understand the broader organizational structure and teams. Product Description

The Org is an employer branding and org chart platform that converts more candidates and helps new employees be successful from day one. The Org allows companies to prove they’re the best place to work. Their transparent, team first employer branding platform enables hiring managers to show off the team, culture, diversity, trajectory, and the org chart. Job candidates get to see inside your company and determine what it’s actually like day-to-day as well as who they’ll work with. The best companies convert more job candidates and onboard them with ease using The Org. Over 300,000 companies have a profile on The Org. The Org is free for companies. Hiring managers or CEOs are the primary users and admins of The Org. They manage their company profiles which consist of all the information you would find on a company About and Careers page plus more. Admins begin by uploading the company org chart via HRIS as well as open roles via their preferred ATS. The admin can then invite the entire team to fill in their individual profiles. After the org chart is built, the company can include everything a candidate might need for research: employee profiles, teams, investors, press, values, locations, diversity stats, employee handbook, testimonials, and more. The Org profile can be public or private and be optionally shared with potential candidates, linked via the company website, and discovered via The Org’s search function.

What do you like best about The Org?

The simplicity and clean, clear look of the site makes for a great first impression when sending it to new candidates. It's reassuring to know what someone's first impression with our company is going to be like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Org?

Don't find any downsides right now. We're one of the early users, and it already has the functionality we need and find useful. Frankly, any additional features will be bonuses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Org solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being able to tell new candidates, the story of our company exactly in the way that we want to. Typical career pages or LinkedIn homepages don't do the job. In fact, the simple job listings page and integration into the org chart in The Org has also made it a great place to share open positions, because it shows exactly where they would fit in the org chart, answering the important question, "Who Will be my boss and what will my team be like?" What do you like best about The Org?

The Org is a diverse platform that offers a very personalized touch when it comes to giving your company page a level of transparency that Glasdoor and LinkedIn are unable to provide. Yes, you can add photos and company updates like the other players in the space, but then you get the chance to dive deeper into understanding the reporting structure of each company. Candidates/viewers get to see how different teams are structured, where people are located, how people like to work, what they do for fun, and so many other great bits of information that allow viewers to get a true sense of the type of people that work for X company. This personalized touch is unrivaled when looking at other competitors in this space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Org?

What I dislike about the platform today is that is a very manual process to continuously update the org structure for your company, add new colleagues, edit the information about your jobs, etc. Integration with different HRIS systems would be most helpful in addressing those issues. My biggest dislike would be that it feels as though The Org is trying to do too many things all wrapped up in 1 service. They are a job board, they are an employer branding tool, and a news outlet. Find one niche, perfect it, and then try adding other features. Everything offered today doesn't feel completely thought out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Org solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our company is helping give candidates transparency into what life is like working here. What is the org structure like, what do people do for fun, how do we communicate, and is this truly a great to work? The Org has given us an additional platform to give candidates that information in an easily digestible format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Org?

The Org provides value to candidates before they ever even join an organization.

As an employer, we utilize The Org when we’re sending out offers -- it provides far more detail to candidates so they can get a better sense of the company. They can see where their position fits in the org, read more about their new teammates, and learn more about the culture. It's an incredible employer branding tool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Org?

Nothing to dislike - I am just looking forward to the addition of The Org / Rippling integration in the near future, such that the org chart / positions automatically update when we make changes in Rippling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Org solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Org is a one stop shop for learning more about a company - our mission, vision, values, the org structure, open roles and positions, what our current team has to say about culture. It's a great selling tool for potential candidates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Org?

The Org is a great employer branding tool as well as a tool for seeing what org design approaches other companies in the industry of our size take. We especially like the people at The Org; they are very responsive and friendly to interact with. The platform is intuitive and easy to use. Setting up a company profile is quick and efficient, and our employees filled out their profiles without any training or guidance needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Org?

Nothing that I can think of as of this point. I'm looking forward to seeing the new features The Org is planning to roll out! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Org solving and how is that benefiting you?

Using The Org helps us communicate our structure and company values to candidates in our pipeline. Candidates get to see who they'll be working with and what work styles people have, which is a good way for them to see if our company has a culture and work style that they can see themselves thriving in. What do you like best about The Org?

The Org is a one-stop shop for both employers and employees! We love using the org chart to help explain our company hierarchy to new team members. And the recent "Teams" update also helps us clarify our teams that cross departments. I also love their commitment to highlighting DEI practices at companies and making that information easy for potential employees to access. Additionally, The Org's customer service and product development reps are so attentive and helpful. I truly can not recommend them enough! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Org?

The only dislike I have is the update emails to employees whenever the org chart is changed. But this is a very small issue, but sometimes our changes aren't finalized when employees are notified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Org solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Org helps us explain our complicated organizational chart to new hires in a streamlined and easy-to-follow way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Org?

The Org is not just an org chart, it is a very intuitive tool that shares key information with external people about the company which attracts better talent as we grow. Their customer service team is amazing in receiving feedback and finding ways to assist our company based on our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Org?

We built our org chart manually as we did not have our HRIS system integration available at that time but we are looking forward to seeing new features on how we can fully utilize the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Org solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Org helps us explain our organizational chart to new hires and current employees for any movement in the organization in a streamlined and easy-to-follow way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Org?

TheOrg helped us to finally showcase what is obvious to us but not so clear to outsiders - our org structure. With this platform, we can make sure, that all our candidates understand how we roll, how they would be the perfect addition to our organization, and what they can expect. It definitely enhances the candidate and recruiting experience, as candidates appreciate these insights and openness and understand the position much easier. Big shout out to their CS Managers as well, they are going the extra mile to make your profile a success and have an open ear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Org?

Looking forward to more releases by TheOrg to have more Employer Branding tools like testimonials or news to give candidates the perfect package if it comes to applying. As an EB Manager I love the options to make our profile stand out as best as it can, but I know they are looking currently into more EB options - can't wait! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Org solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ATS integration and email system are amazing. Every time there is a new job automatically posted I get pinged so I can select the right department - takes me 1 minute and my profile is always up to date. It really helps me to keep up with all the profiles I run! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Org?

The Org has been an excellent tool for my team as we continue to hire rapidly. We're trying to find the best candidates and get as many to convert quickly. The Org has shown candidates exactly where they fit into the team, potential career progression/growth and who they'd be working with. We're a really close knit team and culture matters a lot to us. We want to hire the right fit for the team and someone who is passionate about what we're building together – the best way we've been able to articulate this to candidates is by sending our org chart. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Org?

Building our org chart was very manual. Our HRIS integration wasn't available at the time but we're expecting it to be available shortly which will be helpful to keep it automatically updated Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Org solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Org is helping show off our team and culture without hopping on the phone with candidates. It's been the number one Employer Branding tool we've invested in (even though it's free), and we will continue to invite all new employees to join. Especially as a remote-first company, it also helps internally and getting to know your colleagues before even speaking with them. I've learned so much about my colleagues that I didn't know before and it's made us stronger as a team as we continue working together. Thank you, Org! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Org?

I think it is a very intuitive tool that shares key information with external people about the company and the way we work at companies. it allows us to showcase a bit about ourselves as a company and the way we view work and play Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Org?

nothing this far I think this tool empowers current employees to provide their perspective about what a specific company looks like and what to expect from different perspectives Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Org solving and how is that benefiting you?

they are providing us with visibility and candidate reach out in a way we wouldn't be able to on our own. In every organized way show what the teams and company are about Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about The Org?

It’s a verified and up-to-date version of LinkedIn, but it provides more overview into different teams and who does what on them. Seeing the structure of an organization helps me quickly understand the organization and learn about everyone on the team, not just the executives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Org?

It isn’t obvious at first why someone in my position should start using it. It took me some time and exploring on the website to get a hang of it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is The Org solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Org provides more background and tells me more about who someone is outside of work. While it’s great to learn about someone’s professional background, it’s more interesting and personal to learn about their workstyles, how they are as a leader and what they do outside of work. This is the most unique feature of The Org! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
