What do you like best about Teamleader?

Easy to use software, tracking deals, updating contact info and creating projects works great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamleader?

Limited possibilities of integration external emailing campaigns (like MailChimp) to the ticketing system. No possibility to schedule a follow up template email, all have to be done manually. Email comes in without mark-up, pictures oftentimes don't get shown inline and colour of text etc is gone as well. Very difficult because often times clients use their normal email. The integration with Gmail is fine, it's good you can create a ticket out of a new email, but if you answer it in TL you loose the benefits of Gmail (because you're now using the ticketing system of Gmail again), and staying in Gmail is not an option (because new emails aren't added to TL automatically, and clicking every new email and adding it to an existing ticket is just dreadful). Lastly, when searching in the main search block for a company, contact or project, often completely irrelevant results show up. Only when you type in the full name of the company/contact it might appear, and sometimes only if you search in the "company" search block etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great CRM option for small to medium sized companies. Don't expect too much room for customisation. They recently added a Belgian company aiming at the larger companies, wondering what that will bring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tracking new leads, maintaining contact, managing accounts and adding subscriptions. Basically managing everything that has to do with direct customer (b2b) contact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Teamleader?

Teamleader is simple to use, no learning curve. It's feature set is limited but it has a few interesting powerful features that help to solve a lot of challenges, for example the ability to create custom fields on any object (Contact, Company, Opportunity...) and to create segments (lists) based on any field and combinations.

The export to Winbooks for the accountant works fine and the native MailChimp integration is efficient to use. The customer success team is very responsive. License price is low compared to other solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamleader?

The ability to do recurring invoices (subscriptions in Teamleader) is rather basic, e.g. no support for foreign currencies.

The API is comprehensive, but does not yet cover 100% of all features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Teamleader:

Use the trial version, make sure to set up custom fields to keep track of information specific to your business. Have a look at the Teamleader marketplace for integrations that you will need, especially to your accountant software and mailing tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Teamleader is our central customer database, where we add all companies and contacts. That allows us to do invoicing, and via MailChimp sending mailings to our customers. The alternative would have been a much more expensive solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- the UX is a complete disaster, very user unfriendly

- when invoicing, you don't see the total > you quickly and unnoticed make mistakes which cost you a lot of money

- many bugs, many offlines...

- safety concerns: somebody easily managed to break in in our Teamleader CRM

- statistics: very unclear, eg you don't see comparison statistics how your account managers sold

- timetracking is very user unfriendly, even so that our people don't want to use it, they want to get back to their old timetracking system

- project management: Teamleader says it does provide this, but it's unusable in reality

- all in all, a very confusing user experience, which, instead of preventing, generates internal mistakes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Teamleader?

The all-in-one approach is great if you are looking or starting or have many requirements. The software can easily grow with your company and it has everything you need from invoices, time tracking, sales follow up, crm, even an integrated email tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Teamleader?

If you are using already some other tools, it can easily break your habit of working as it only works well if you use it fully. On the other hand it has a strong focus on the sales manager as a user persona which makes it somewhat less useful when you are not in a sales position. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We used the trial to see how it blends in with the many other tools we already used and shifted to yet another tool to complement the tools we already had.
