I like the simplicity to use the tool and communication within the team. It's the central hub of our content and collaboration. It's simple to swap assignments mid-task for tasks that require input from multiple team members. Our podcast creation, editing, and posting have benefited tremendously since implementing Team Gantt. I have not come across anything I dislike. It acts as a central repository for our content and our projects have never run so smooth. Furthermore, their onboarding videos and training have been not only helpful but entertaining as well. It isn't a chat tool like Slack, but allows for real-time communication list Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Great look and feel, very intuitive for beginners. Have all the functionality needed for a project -- gantt chart, time management, discussions. Is good for small teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I already have a project plan in excel, then transitioning the excel plan to TeamGantt would take a long time. Having to login via browser everytime I want to update the project status. Spending too much time updating these charts instead of spending time on project content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ability to structure programs and tasks into clusters and assign owners, dependencies, due dates, as well as the ability to create corresponding checklists and documents. Everything in one place and super-intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be cool to be able to create sub-tasks underneath main tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's really easy to use and customisable. It is quick to update project progress and add tasks and allocate them too. Grouping the tasks is good visual aid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Adding holidays is not that easy, for example I have to add them as tasks, and then I cannot add more than one task timeline to one line, I have to add a new line each time, e.g. John holiday 1, John holiday 2, as separate tasks. If we could centralise holidays then it would block out that person's time in each gantt they are associated with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Compared to several diffrent products with free online proposition TeamGantt is very intuitive for the amount of incredible features they offer on the free account. You will run with all your projects in a matter of minutes. I have intermediate knowledge of project management tools, and was able to get a WBS plan for multiple milestones in minutes. Also, great support features (not obnoxiously interrupting your work, yet easily accessible / visible in case you need to). This is based on my private test period use with only myself using, but it's very likely I will propose to our team to test collaboration features. If you would like to start with something this is the best one I've tried. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At the moment I haven't found anything that would get me to cancel account within minutes of using the product for the first time. The team I'm testing the tool for cannot afford time for steep learning curve, so getting everyone on board with minimum effort is essential. If I can't set up the basic structure of the project within minutes, or I find myself spending more time looking for answers on how to use the tool instead of actually using, I'm cancelling the account immediately. This is the first one I have not cancelled and that I can't wait to see what more I can do with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that I can see visual timelines and that they are not static, so when one task moves, EVERYTHING moves. It's easy to plan my entire year, especially at a nonprofit when I'm working with so many different projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Haven't found anything yet :) If I had to pick something, I'd like to be able to customize the layout a bit more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
TeamGantt has a very clean interface that makes it easy on the eyes for those who wish to keep track of projects. I love that it shows the number of tasks per user so that work load can be managed. It's also wonderful that there are different view types--calendar, list, and gantt chart. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is relatively pricey. The individual plan can only accommodate 5 projects. The minimum standard plan for 5 people could be a little lower. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
TeamGantt allows me to look at the progress of my colleagues and myself on a project. The software is very intuitive and I enjoy its sleek design. Furthermore, I especially like its percentage feature which lets me know how close we are to the completion of a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Trying to export the Gantt chart is quite confusing, however, this is probably due to my lack of experience with this aspect of the software. Some of the more complex features of TeamGantt require time to master but over time they become second nature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This site is very user-friendly. I like that you can update a project timeline, and all of the milestones automatically adjust to fit the new date. I think it's an attractive site, that is easy to use and great for managing group projects.I also like the push notification system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one downfall is that the mobile/tablet applications are a little clunky. If the apps were improved, we would move to TeamGantt as our primary project management software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
