"Flexible for Analysts, Challenging for Non-Technical Users"
What do you like best about Tableau?

I like that Tableau is very flexible for data analysts. It has a lot of functionalities to build in SQL and to use custom coding into your visualizations as well as your data cleanup. Being a data analyst myself, this flexibility in creating visualizations makes it valuable because I can be more flexible on the visualizations that I create, not restricted by the platform itself. Tableau is user-friendly with a lot of functionalities that allow me to create different graphics and also perform data cleanup. It also resolved the issue of bringing in data from different channels, merging it, cleaning it up, and creating visualizations using that final dataset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

It doesn't work well for non-technical users and is hard to navigate for dashboards. Tableau Reader is a terrible program and doesn't work for many people. It's confusing when trying to share dashboards with other users. The initial setup was terrible because the interface doesn't work well with other integrations and kept erroring out. "Fast data visualization with Tableau"
What do you like best about Tableau?

The interface is super intuitive with drag and drop features, saving me a lot of time while allowing non-tech savvy people to do data analytsis. The visuals are top notch and make dashboard creation much faster. Setting everything us was not difficult either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

At times, it can be rather cumbersome, particularly while dealing with a lot of data. There is a delay associated with loading the dashboard too. On top of that, some settings and formatting features are a bit difficult to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Data Visualization with Predictive Analytics"
What do you like best about Tableau?

I really like Tableau's features, especially its ability to create productivity and predict things before they happen from the dashboard, like statistics. I find its predictive capabilities very useful for seeing my upcoming KPIs and understanding what they could be like next month. The features help me in creating dashboards efficiently, even with minimal information, and I find it very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

I didn't see any AI features in Tableau, which would be very useful. Having AI features like chat would make it a lot more easier. The initial setup was quite challenging, but we sorted it out in time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Interactive Dashboards for QA Insights with Tableau"
What do you like best about Tableau?

The most helpful thing about Tableau is how easily and quickly it turns data into clear, interactive visualizations. As a QA Analyst Engineer, I use it in my day-to-day work to validate large datasets, track error trends, and monitor test execution metrics without having to manually rummaging spreadsheets. Its drag-and-drop interface makes it straightforward to build dashboards that surface anomalies, failures, and patterns in test results, so I can spot issues faster and stay on top of what’s happening. Another big upside is how Tableau can handle large volumes of data from different sources. I can easily integrate easily Tableau with databases, test management tools, logs etc. and implement seamlessly. Also the customer service is great and helpful. What do you dislike about Tableau?

Performance can sometimes be an issue when working with very large datasets, detailed logs, or multiple live connections. In QA, we occasionally analyze millions of records from automation results, and dashboards can start to feel sluggish if they aren’t properly optimized. Another thing is Licensing cost which is also something to consider, especially for teams that only need lightweight reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Data Visualization and Exploration with Tableau"
What do you like best about Tableau?

Tableau is my most favorite tool for data preparation and data visualization, i have more than 2 year of experience of Tableau , and still using it in my company, its really amazing, i really like tableau because it helps me visualize and explore data in a very easy and interactive way. i can quickly turn complex datasets into clear, meaningful dashboards without much code, i can drag and drop the elements , and it give me freedom to experiment with different types of charts. I like that it also helps me find hidden trends and patterns in raw data. it also connect smoothly with multiple data sources like Excel , Google Sheets and BigQuery, the visuals are professional and easy to easy to share with anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

well i dont this so there are any major issues while using it, but yeah sometimes it take some time, while working with large datasets, and the dashboards take time to load, these are small issues compared to the overall benefits it gives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Visualization, But Challenging Advanced Features"
What do you like best about Tableau?

I like that Tableau has several prompts or the Show Me button, where I can choose what I want my final chart to look like and only have to add the data it tells me it needs. It makes building in Tableau a lot easier and faster than starting from scratch and is a good way to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

I don't like the steep learning curve for advanced features, which feels unreachable for casual users or anyone other than a fully committed data analyst. I have seen drop-downs that have effects on maps in Tableau, and while dynamic workbooks are neat, they require a lot of careful setup. I wish there was a button or trigger to add filters more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Flexible Visualizations with Minor Performance Delays"
What do you like best about Tableau?

Tableau is my daily driver tool. i use it for dashboards , reporting and data visualization. I am using it from last 3 years. i like that how powerful it is and also flexible for data visualization. it allows me to create dashboards that are both interactive and easy to understand for business users. i love the drag and drop feature, make it simple to build visuals without coding. I use it daily to present key metrics trends and KPI to management. the performance is good even when connecting with large datasets from bigQuery and SQL. the variety of charts and customization help to tell data stories in a clean way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

its a very powerful tool, and works reliably and seamlessly, but sometimes dashboards take a bit long to load, especially when connected to live big datasets. and costing is on higher side but for smaller teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One-Stop Shop for Seamless Reporting"
What do you like best about Tableau?

I like my Tableau dashboard when I log in, as I can save certain views of my favorite reports. It's great because I can just quickly click favorites and all my reports are there, lined up and named the way I want them. It's easy to click them, and then they populate. Tableau allows me to capture multiple sites on the reports, or I can drill down to select a single site and just get statistics for that one location. I also appreciate how it serves as a one-stop shop for all my reporting needs. It gives my regional managers a dashboard on specific metrics, which they can print, share with store teams, and use to develop action plans aligned with our P and Ls. What do you dislike about Tableau?

At this point, I don’t really have anything I don’t like about Tableau Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

well most of the part is very easy to use.. but some of the more advance calculations and customizations require practice to master. its dashboards can also become slow when handling very large datasets. it would be great . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Advanced Analytics, Needs Better Performance"
What do you like best about Tableau?

I like that Tableau has enhanced and improved over time. It helps me understand the data in a visual way and grab future insights. I appreciate the AI and augmented analytics features that make understanding the data easier. Advanced mapping and geospatial analysis are also beneficial, allowing me to get data according to zip codes. Tableau Pulse, Ask Data, and Explain Data features enhance the experience by automatically reading and explaining the data. I also value the user experience, advanced reporting features, multiple connections, and updated features. The documentation and details provided on Tableau's official website are quite useful for setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

I don't like the performance lag with large data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
