What do you like best about Tableau?

Tableau is one of the best Visualization tool used in the Data analytics. Ease of Drag and Drop option is very much effective option than other Visualization tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

I am using Tableau sence 3 years personally as well as professionally. Tableau have many versions and sometimes if we have to use the tableau personally, we can use Tableau trusl version or paid else we can get the option of Tableau Public which is even better option for the one who want to learn it as badic level or advance as well but for shaing the files Live, we need to get the Tableau desktop or professional(pro). What do you like best about Tableau?

I like the customization tableau provides with visual customization as well as being able to handle larger datasets, especially when working in a manufacturing setting. While I have a technical background in software, co-workers of mine could still engage with it with minimal knowledge cause of it's friendly UI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

I've used PowerBI in the past and the price was a roadblock to use it at my company initially as well as it's limited microsoft integration. It's a great tool, but there's a higher cost and even a learning curve in terms of diving deeper into the application's functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tableau solving and how is that benefiting you?

Primarily it's able to consolidate data from various sources and help paint a deeper picture as to what's going on. Generating views for different users to view data they need is also valuable as well. It helps put everything into one spot and then produce analytics for future predictions for order sizes as well as to give users a good view of the data without needing to dive deeper and deeper Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tableau?

Tableau is a pretty cool dashboarding tool. Last time had the chance to use it was a few years ago when we were in the process of choosing a BI tool. We eventually choose Looker because of its direct integration with Google Cloud Plateform.

Whats great about Tableau? Great UI, great features, especially around geographic charts, easy integration why data sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

Though it was a bit slow thought nothing crazy. It probably a bit too complex for regular end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tableau solving and how is that benefiting you?

We dont use tableau, we use Looker. These two tools have similar features and what we truly appreciate is the fact that we can easilly visualize data and get quick insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tableau?

The drag-and-drop interface of Tableau is user-friendly especially for individuals lacking extensive technical knowledge. Users only need to choose the fields and data points from their datasets to quickly generate charts, graphs, and dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

Tableau can be costly, particularly for startups. Even with its flexibility, the licensing model still adds costly, especially when you extend usage across teams or a complete company.Tableau is capable of handling huge datasets; but, depending on the structure and connectivity of the data, excessively large or complicated datasets may cause performance issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tableau solving and how is that benefiting you?

Spreadsheets and massive, enterprise-level databases are just two examples of the many data sources that tableau may connect to and aggregate into a single dashboard. Working with varied data becomes simpler as a result, and complicated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) procedures are avoided.Tableau makes it simple to retrieve, combine, and evaluate data from several sources in one location, which speeds up decision-making and cuts down on time spent manually compiling data. What do you like best about Tableau?

Tableau has lots of option to customize charts & graph. We can also publish dashboard in PowerPoint optimised format. So chart can be extracted as a point slide Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

Unlike power BI where users allowed to change the Axis. In this users have to use predefined charts. We can put filter to select or unselect any specific datapoint Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tableau solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tableau help us to automate the entire reporting across department. Previously we were using excel report. So lots of time waste in preparation of report. What do you like best about Tableau?

It offers several pros helpful for insightful data analysis processes.

Like being user friendly, e.g the drag and drop interface, the timely data analysis syntax, the fact I am able to integrate it seemlessly with multiple data sources makes it a go to, it's interactive nature is also impressive and most importantly it's secured system makes me want to keep using the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

The fact that I have issues when trying to work with a large data set on this platform it start acting up plus it gives me less visualisation tools unlike its counterparts and the limit it is on exporting my finished work for interactive presentations but otherwise it's quite an insightful tool to use. Thank you Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tableau solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps in the solving data visualisation problems by making it easier to turn complex data to a more gradient analysed and insightful information. It's also time efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
