"Powerful, Intuitive Dashboards with Tableau’s Flexible Data Connections"
What do you like best about Tableau?

Tableau is a powerful data visualization tool that helps make complex data easier to understand. I especially like how intuitive the interface feels—it’s straightforward to build polished, professional dashboards without needing deep technical skills. The broad range of visualization options, along with the ability to connect to multiple data sources, makes it flexible and very useful for data analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

Tableau can be expensive compared to other BI tools, especially for small teams. Some of the more advanced features come with a steep learning curve, and performance can slow down when you’re working with very large or highly complex datasets. It would also be helpful to have stronger built-in data preparation capabilities and clearer, more straightforward licensing options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Interactive Dashboards, Efficient Data Analysis"
What do you like best about Tableau?

I use Tableau for whipping up interactive dashboards to track sales trends and customer data super quick. It solves many problems like turning complex spreadsheets into an interactive format and helps me compare them easily. I can drop and drag massive amounts of data from anywhere to instantly build interactive dashboards. It's easy to analyze the data and make decisions accordingly, which makes it more valuable for decision-making. The initial setup is easy and simple, and we constantly plug Tableau into Salesforce to see live charts directly into CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

I feel sometimes it takes more time to analyze the large amount of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Data Analysis with Stunning, Interactive Dashboards"
What do you like best about Tableau?

Tableau is an excellent data visualization tool that makes complex data easy to understand through interactive and visually appealing dashboards. Its drag-and-drop interface allows users to explore data quickly, while still offering advanced capabilities for deeper analysis. The platform handles large datasets efficiently and integrates well with multiple data sources. Today we use Tableau at our organization to read our campaign results that are integrated from other tools. With various filters in place, its very useful for me as a campaign manager. What do you dislike about Tableau?

At times, the loading time can be quite long when working with complex data. Additionally, creating dashboards in Tableau often requires the expertise of someone experienced with the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Data Visualization and Collaboration with Tableau"
What do you like best about Tableau?

Tableau's biggest strength is how effortlessly it turns complex datasets into visually appealing and interactive dashboards. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to explore data without writing heavy code, the variety of charts, filters and drill-down helps uncover insights quickly.

Performance is excellent even with large datasets and the ability to create shareable dashboard makes collaboration across teams much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

The pricing is on the higher side, especially for smaller teams or organizations that want to scale usage across departments.

Sometimes performance can also dip when dashboards become very complex or when live connections are used on huge datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time Data Visualization Made Simple"
What do you like best about Tableau?

I personally have used Tableau for building dashboards. I like how it makes it easy to work with data, especially spreadsheets, allowing me to create dashboards just the way I imagined. I appreciate being able to visualize data in real time. As a data analytics student, it has helped me a ton by allowing me to visualize data in real time, and I don't have to work on spreadsheets. I started to learn data analytics using Tableau itself, and the initial setup was easy for me, although it took some time to get to know it better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

AI could be integrated to help with more interactive dashboard design. It would be nice if it could explain the curve in charts, check for missed items, or automatically create a chart showing the difference between the best and worst quarters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Learn, Stunning Tableau Dashboards with Minimal Coding"
What do you like best about Tableau?

Tableau is easy to learn because it requires almost no coding. With a little training, anyone can start using it quickly. Its biggest strength is the ability to create stunning visualization dashboards from data, which can then be presented clearly to business partners or management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

Creating dashboards with complex charts isn’t always easy or intuitive. Collaboration with teammates can also be difficult, especially when multiple rewrites are involved and version control becomes messy. On top of that, Tableau workbooks are version-controlled in a way that doesn’t work well across different Tableau versions, which makes sharing and maintaining them more challenging. "Seamless Integration and Custom Dashboards with Tableau"
What do you like best about Tableau?

I like the simplicity of creating dashboards in Tableau and its agile integration with various platforms. It's great that Tableau allows us to integrate and gives us a clear understanding of business KPIs in a single place, especially with Salesforce and SAP, along with other bespoke solutions. The flexibility in creating new dashboards is a big reason we switched from SAP BI to Tableau, and I found the initial setup to be a very smooth transition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

There are no straightforward APIs for marketing automation tools which are used by Indian customers but for global players it's available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Drag-and-Drop Dashboards with Flexible, Compelling Visualizations"
What do you like best about Tableau?

The best thing I like about the Tableau platform is its drag and drop feature, which helps build advanced dashboards, more like an intuitive one with the fundamentals. Their visualisation capabilities are very flexible and visually compelling. It also helps me to connect multiple data channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

One major point I would make is that the learning curve for this platform is a bit steep. Also, their licensing cost is a bit higher. Sometimes their performance is a bit slow with large datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dynamic Data Visualization with Limitations"
What do you like best about Tableau?

I like Tableau because of the variety of functions it offers, including DAX, which is essential for creating dynamic calculations and business logic. The availability of beautiful graphs is another strong point of Tableau, as they help represent complex data metrics in a way that non-technical people can easily understand, just by seeing the graphs. Additionally, the Tableau documentation is pretty good and easy to follow for setup, which was a plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

I find Tableau's data modeling capabilities are not as robust to handle complex relational models or large dataset semantic layers. It lacks flexibility in functions compared to Power BI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

its been 3 to 4 years i am working and using taleau, for data visualization and storytelling, and i think Tableau is best , i like that how easy it makes data visualization and storytelling, The main feature that i like most is drag and drop interface its really smooth, and it allows me to create complex dashboards without much coding, i can connect multiple data source like BigQuery, excel and SQL server at the same time, which makes analysis very flexible, the visualization are very professional looking and interactive , great for presenting data to management , i also like how it handles large data volumes without lag if the data model is optimized properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

there is only one issue with , that it take more time to load when data is large or coming from live connections, managing permissions and user access also feels a bit confusing at time. but overall these are little issues , its a great tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
