Our company has been utilizing Systemware products for several years and the stability of the product along with the outstanding customer support are keys to that longevity. The frequency of use by our users makes stability critical and Content Cloud has provided that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the user interface can be cumbersome for users. Additionally the version we are running has some tideous aspects to it which as I understand has been resolved in newer versions of the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Systemware is its ability to seamlessly manage and retrieve large volumes of content, making information easily accessible while ensuring data security and compliance across different environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One potential drawback of Systemware is its complex setup and configuration, which can require a significant learning curve for new users or those unfamiliar with the platform’s advanced features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A Very user friendly interface that does not require lot of hands on training Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Finding an issue using logs is very difficult. Almost impossible without tech support help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It allows us to store our data and be able to view it by the whole document or individual documents if the report is indexed.
There are different ways to send files to Content Cloud making it easy to get anything you need in there.
The People working at Systemware are very very very helpful.
This is much more user friendly than our old Mobius interface.
Security can get really granular.
I use this on a daily basis right now, while we are implementing the product.
Over all it has been a pretty smooth implementation and conversion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the way some of the screens updated when making changes.
I dislike the way the date fields don't actually give you the same ending date as the start date.
The error reporting for Send to CC
I believe that some of this has been fixed in a newer version than what I have Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been a Systemware customer for over 30 years using their content management suite of z System software. Recently, we had migrated to Systemware's Enterprise Content Management (Content Cloud) after carefully evaluated it and a few others similar solutions from their competitors.
We are happy to have chosen Content Cloud. It provided features and functionalities meeting all our requirements, and it's user friendly which is very important to our users. Systemware's project implementation team provided excellent services and support. There were several unplanned customizations requested on our side which threw the project timeline off. They worked patiently with us through the whole process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not anything I don't like about Systemware. The sales team, technical support team, project team, contract team, and every one else I worked with were friendly and supportive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have administered, installed, overseen, assited with, etc... Xpt, Xnet, JHS, and Content Server for around 30 years. The one thing that stands out is the word stability. We don't know the the first level support people at Systemware on a first name basis, and that's a good thing. I can't think of any time in the past decade where we have had to contact support for anything other than a simple question about something we couldn't find in the documentation. The user conferences are pretty good too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What is not to like about something that works all of the time! I have nothing disparaging to say about the product or the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to compress content in the new distributed Content Cloud environment has been very beneficial compared to the previous mainframe environment. We achieved compression rates of 85-90%, thus reducing our storage expense. I also appreciated the engagement with Systemware. We shared our objective to reduce mainframe storage costs and they created options for us from the most tactic cost saving option to more long-term strategic options. We were then able to work with Systemware on the best option for us. I truly appreciated their willingness to listen and partner with us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd like to see more progress/integration with Gen AI capabilities. There is a wealth of information stored in our Systemware solution and we'd like to explore ways to interogate that information with Gen AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For nearly eight years, I've been part of this Systemware's journey, relying on a content management system. Their platform has significantly eased my work life and those of my collogues, swiftly resolving any issues that arise. Recently, we encountered trouble pulling multiple documents simultaneously, but Systemware promptly introduced the Content Packager. It enabled us to select and download numerous documents into a PDF or zip file, proving invaluable for subpoenas and research requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to dislike. If you have a problem they are eager to find a solution for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Systemware Content Cloud tool migrated and replaced our legacy tool which supports our customer documents and production reports. The team supporting this migration understood the legacy challenges and met the mark to migrate our business processes and content of over 20+ years. Systemware staffing was very knowledgable on capturing our technical and business needs during the implementation.
Content Cloud supports a hybrid of mainframe and distributed platforms to capture a vast array of content types. There are amazing out-of-the-box features that our business users quickly adopted. Content Cloud does have the capabilities of creating Custom Application Modules to support unique business needs that allowed us to replace external custom code during our migration and continue to support with minimal business impacts to existing functionality. The installation components was a learning curve for our company as we were not strong in Linux/Unix operating systems but there support staff walked us through the entire process and we are much more comfortable with the platform.
If you have an existing solution in place that you are migrating from, be prepared for a long project to capture all the needs. They will help you get there but be realistic with timelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been leading a team that supports Systemware, among other tools, for almost two years. My experience is not "hands-on" with the product, but my observations during this time are that the software is remarkably stable. Leading other teams who support other content management programs, my perception is that Systemware is easier to administer compared to other applications with similar capability. I find that one stand out feature of working with Systemware is the support. The response and engagement of the technical and post sales support teams are excellent. Questions are answered in a timely manner and followup is done to confirm that needs are met. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have had positive experiences with the product and the Systemware teams. No dislikes readily come to mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The systemware reporting system is a 100% upgrade in every way to the old system it replaced. Real time collecting, incredible flexibility, very easy to learn interface all backed by an incredible rollout team and support group. Our daily users love using the web based interface over the old mainframe emulation they suffered with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Programming replacement print bundles to be compatible with ancient mainframe AFP standards was painful but Systemware's excellent team held our hand every step of the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
