What do you like best about Synthflow?

I like the customizability of the voice agents, including the modular system for creating knowledge bases and integrating other applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Synthflow?

The app was somewhat complicated to navigate.

The voices for agents were not gendered, so trying to filter based on "male" or "female" in the dropdown filters yielded 0 results; moreover, there were no other filters, despite things like age and accent being obvious options for filters.

I already opted to start a free trial, I already have a paid OpenAI API key, and I'm paying $1.50 per month for a number, but I can't even test out an agent BY MYSELF. This is EXTREMELY disappointing. I don't want to fill out this lengthy review for a few call-minutes just to see if I even like the tool. I should be allowed to have conversation with myself, free-of-charge. The membership trials are also rather lame. Two weeks only, then if I don't remember to cancel it in the event that it's not right for me, I'll be paying almost $500 dollars per month, minimum. Not only is it downright expensive, on its own, but it feels like you're trying to pigeonhole people into accidentally paying a large amount for the services. I'm literally trying to SELL your product to my clients as a part of my automation consulting business, and I can't test out the agent before committing to it personally or pitching it to my clients. You're hurting your own business!

I'm not sure why, but the Zapier integration just doesn't seem to be fully functioning. The embed portion isn't loading. When I try to connect from the integrations page, I'm prompted to "install" Zapier--a fully online tool.

What do you like best about Synthflow?

I like Synthflow for its integration capabilities and the agency plan. When I want to add any third-party services like Twilio, it's very simple and helpful with options like go high level, Strive, MyOpenAI, and kail.com. I find the Twilio integration particularly simple and it's something I like the most. The setup was also very easy for me because I could just sign up with my Google account. What I Like Best:

What do you like best about Synthflow?

I’m using Synthflow to automate the escalation of GPS monitoring incidents. I love how easy it is to create custom flows that trigger phone calls in multiple escalation levels (driver → supervisor → manager). The voice quality in Spanish is incredibly realistic, and the webhook support makes it easy to integrate with my Python backend. I also appreciate the speed at which I can prototype and deploy logic. I’d say the two things I appreciate most about Synthflow are its rich integration ecosystem and its remarkably smooth configuration experience:

Synthflow comes with out-of-the-box connectors for virtually every major data source and service—everything from SQL databases (Postgres, MySQL) and data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake) to messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ), cloud storage (S3, Azure Blob) and even popular SaaS tools (Salesforce, HubSpot). Because those adapters are already battle‑tested, I can spin up end‑to‑end pipelines in minutes, without having to write custom boilerplate or wrestle with OAuth flows. It means less time building “glue code” and more time focusing on the actual business logic.

2. Intuitive, code‑friendly configuration

Whether you prefer a visual drag‑and‑drop canvas or treating your workflows like code (YAML/JSON definitions, CLI-driven deployments), Synthflow handles it beautifully. I love that I can declare my entire DAG in a few lines of YAML—defining tasks, dependencies, retry policies and schedules—then immediately validate and deploy it. The live preview and built‑in linting catch errors early, and I can tweak parameters on the fly without ever breaking the pipeline. That balance between simplicity and power means I’m shipping reliable data workflows faster than ever.

What do you dislike about Synthflow?

The one area where Synthflow falls short for me is its support responsiveness. Just last week I ran into a connector error that was blocking a critical data pipeline; I opened a support ticket outlining the exact steps to reproduce, but after several days there’s still no update or ETA on a fix. This delay had a couple of knock‑on effects:

Operational impact: My downstream jobs stayed stuck in a retry loop, which forced me to spin up temporary workarounds and monitor them manually.

Lack of transparency: The ticket remains “open” without any comments—no acknowledgement, no progress notes, and no estimated timeline for resolution.

Self‑help gaps: While the docs cover most “happy‑path” configurations, there isn’t enough guidance for troubleshooting edge‑case failures. When support is slow, I’m left combing through logs and configuration specs hoping to find a clue.
