  ### 1. Limited international support, confusing, and no way to close your account

**What do you like best about Synthflow?**

Easy to use if you are in the United States.

**What do you dislike about Synthflow?**

**Phone number coverage is extremely limited.** Synthflow only offers numbers from the US, Canada, and Australia directly. There are no Spanish numbers — or for that matter, any other European numbers — available out of the box. For any European business trying to call local prospects, this is a deal-breaker. Calling Spanish customers from a +1 US number kills your answer rate before you even start.

**The Twilio workaround forces you onto the Business plan.** When I tried to connect my own Twilio account to use a proper local number, I discovered that this option is locked behind the Business tier — roughly four times the price of the Pro plan. There's no transparent disclosure of this limitation upfront; you only find out after committing time to building your agent.

**The new platform interface is a usability disaster.** The recent redesign is genuinely confusing. Basic actions that should take one click now require navigating multiple unintuitive menus. Settings are scattered, naming conventions are inconsistent, and the learning curve has gotten worse, not better.

**There is no way to close your account from the dashboard.** This is the most concerning issue. I've searched every settings menu, every account section, every billing page — there is literally no option to delete or close my account. This appears to be deliberate, and it's an unacceptable practice for any SaaS in 2026, especially under European GDPR rules where users have an explicit right to erasure.

**What do you like best about Synthflow?**

The biggest advantage is how easy it is to use. The UI is clean and intuitive, so onboarding was fast and required minimal training. We were able to set up and iterate on workflows quickly, which has significantly reduced the time spent managing processes.

One downside is that some advanced customisation options are still limited. While the core functionality is easy to use, more complex workflows can require workarounds or aren’t as flexible as more mature tools.

Before using Synthflow, setting up and managing workflows was time-consuming and required more manual effort. With Synthflow, we’ve been able to streamline these processes and build workflows much faster, which has reduced the time spent on setup and iteration. The no-code visual agent builder is impressive - I was able to configure a French-speaking voice agent for our automotive parts e-commerce business in under 30 minutes. The Custom Actions feature with webhook support makes it easy to connect to our existing ERP and WooCommerce store without writing code. Voice quality in French sounds natural and professional. The platform offers great flexibility for building multi-step conversation flows with real-time API calls during the call.

**What do you dislike about Synthflow?**

The trial account requires a paid plan before you can even test the agent with a single call. A small free credit like 5 minutes would help new users evaluate the voice quality before committing. Documentation could also be more detailed for non-English language setups.

Synthflow makes it very easy to build and manage AI voice agents without heavy technical setup. I really like how intuitive the interface is, how quickly agents can be configured, and how well it integrates with phone providers like Twilio. The prompt system and real-time actions are very powerful for creating realistic, business-ready voice workflows.

The main challenge is that it’s difficult to fully test voice interactions without upgrading, especially for early experimentation. Having limited access to real call testing in the free plan makes it harder to evaluate the agent before committing, but I understand this is related to infrastructure and cost constraints.

**What do you like best about Synthflow?**

The biggest upside is how natural the German voice sounds, especially for formal situations like an Arztpraxis. Patients don’t feel like they’re talking to a robot, which is crucial if you want people to accept it and not hang up. The tone, pauses, and “Sie-Form” feel right.

Another strong point is reliability. Once it’s set up, it runs stable. Calls don’t randomly drop, and you don’t constantly have to fix things in the background. For a practice, that matters more than fancy features.

It’s also very practical. You can cover 80% of the repetitive calls (appointments, prescriptions, opening hours) without overengineering anything. And when something gets too complex, it can cleanly hand off to a human.

Lastly, the pricing is transparent. You know roughly what you’ll pay each month, instead of getting surprised by hidden usage costs.

**What do you dislike about Synthflow?**

The biggest downside is limited customization. You can build solid call flows, but if you want very complex logic or highly dynamic conversations, you hit boundaries fairly quickly. Compared to developer-first tools, you don’t have full control over every detail.

Another drawback is the pricing at higher volumes. Once call minutes increase, the cost ramps up fast. It’s fair for what you get, but for very high call traffic it can feel expensive compared to building a custom stack.

The setup is also not truly plug-and-play. While it’s no-code, you still need to think carefully about scripts, edge cases, and handovers. If someone expects it to “just work” without planning, they’ll be disappointed.

Voice quality is good, but you’re locked into their ecosystem. You can’t freely swap voices or AI models the way you can with more technical platforms, which limits experimentation.

First, missed calls and long wait times. In many practices or service businesses, the phone rings constantly. Staff can’t keep up, patients or customers get frustrated, and some simply hang up. Synthflow ensures every call is answered immediately, even during peak hours or outside opening times.

Highly trained employees spend a large part of their day on repetitive tasks like scheduling, rescheduling, prescriptions, or basic questions. Synthflow takes over these routine calls, so staff can focus on work that actually requires human judgment.

Third, operational bottlenecks during busy periods. Phone traffic comes in waves. You either overstaff “just in case” or accept chaos during rush hours. Synthflow scales instantly, handling many calls in parallel without adding headcount.

Fourth, inconsistent service quality. Humans get tired, rushed, or distracted. Synthflow delivers the same calm, polite, and correct response every time, which stabilizes the caller experience.

Lastly, while the Customer Support is helpful, having more extensive video documentation for niche edge-case scenarios would be a great addition to their already solid help center.

I think Synthflow has a promising product. I find the outbound call feature really good. It was nice to set up these calls and enjoyable to try the different AI agents.

**What do you dislike about Synthflow?**

I found the integration with HubSpot CRM really bad. The calls couldn't be transferred into the CRM properly, and the data wasn't transferred correctly. We tried two different subscription plans, even the highest tier, hoping for better customer support, but it just didn't work out. After spending three months, it was a total disaster. Also, the initial setup was not easy at all. It was very complex, and we needed an in-house developer; otherwise, we wouldn't have been able to do it ourselves. Our Developer almost wanted to quit his employment due to the bad customer support on Syntflow, as he could not reach the company's goals, and had to hold accountability for the implementation.

Synthflow didn't solve problems for us and created more issues. The integration with HubSpot was poor, data was not transferred properly, and it took us months without resolution.

Synthflow is very easy to use and allows you to quickly create voice agents without code. I especially like the visual editor - you can easily configure dialogs, transition logic, and variables. The quality of speech synthesis and integration with LLM are also impressive - the agent sounds natural, reacts quickly, and adequately. It's an ideal platform for testing and training bots.

Sometimes there are errors when connecting numbers or test calls ("Failed to create room" or problems with minutes), and I would like more understandable error messages. I would also like the free plan to include a few more test minutes.

It's a quality of life change more than anything, the icons on the left side of the screen. Starting out I forget what any of those icons mean so I wish there was a way for it to be labeled. However you only get to see it sometimes, not sure why but it's more of a UX issue.

**What do you like best about Synthflow?**

I love Synthflow because it's a great website and I always want to use it. The AI receptionist feature is particularly useful to me as it directly contributes to making me money, enhancing the overall value of the software for my specific needs. I'm committed to using only Synthflow and not considering any other vendors, which reflects my satisfaction and trust in its capabilities. Even though the initial setup was a nightmare, I am getting the hang of it, which shows my persistence and the potential Synthflow has once the setup hurdle is overcome. Overall, the benefits I receive make me very likely to recommend Synthflow, as I rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommendation.

**What do you dislike about Synthflow?**

Setting up Synthflow was incredibly challenging. I found the initial setup process to be a nightmare. Specifically, trying to get minutes on the account and going through the process to leave a review felt nearly impossible.

I use Synthflow as an AI receptionist, and it benefits me by generating income.

Synthflow is a fantastic tool. One of the most realistic AI voice tools I have used. The fact that it can handle my outbound calling motions is amazing. Not having to constantly be on the phone all day for simple tasks has been huge for my business. Can't recommend Synthflow enough!

It can be expensive but they offer trials and other ways to earn minutes to make sure it is a good fit before you pay

**What problems is Synthflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basically Synthflow is AI phone voice that is very realistic. I use it to make outbound calls to some of my warm prospects. It is way better than manually dialing all of them myself.

**What do you like best about Synthflow?**

I appreciate the simple and intuitive operation of Synthflow, which has allowed me to use the software without any problems, even though I am new to it. I particularly like the provision of an AI call bot that works with low latency and enables efficient phone calls with people. This helps me introduce this offering to my customers who are not familiar with such technology. The ability to equip the agent with a 'brain' using RAG methodology is also very impressive. Synthflow has also convinced me with its comprehensive explanatory videos and tutorials, which have made it easier for me to quickly understand the various tools. The many positive reviews speak for the company and strengthen my confidence in purchasing the software. Overall, Synthflow is a functioning system for me that meets my expectations.

The price of Synthflow poses a challenge for me, as I am entering this new business without any startup capital, making the costs difficult to bear.

**What do you dislike about Synthflow?**

I wasn’t able to start the promised 14 days agency free trial. It’s hard to try out as you don’t get credits to try it out as the free trial was not possible to be accessed.
I was not able to contact a person easily to get help about all of this.

**What problems is Synthflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am starting a Ai assistant business, and I already had a client, but with no access to the promised free trial well, I guess that won’t work.

**What do you like best about Synthflow?**

I really like the idea of being able to automate a job that I used to do by myself. In my case, I have a Marketing agency and making phone calls with a salesperson trained by me is something new and unprecedented. The human voice and the pressing response times are characteristics that make a big difference when looking for real results. Thank you for creating something so unique and advanced. Every company can greatly benefit if only they knew the real potential of all this. Furthermore, I am implementing, as a pilot project, a phone salesperson (a setter configured by me) for one of my clients. He is already thrilled, and I am even more than him!

**What do you dislike about Synthflow?**

The only thing to focus on at the beginning is testing the scripts. Once the right communication is found, the game is done. I recommend creating the communication alongside a sales expert. This can drastically improve the results.

**What problems is Synthflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a small agency, this software does for me the work I would have to do alone by calling cold traffic. Now I understand that with a small investment I can afford to call back only those clients who have already conversed and scheduled an appointment with me via video call or live meeting. Basically, I have almost cloned my sales and marketing techniques with another me, who thinks like me, has the same goal as me, and carries out a lot of heavy and somewhat frustrating work (scheduling appointments with cold audiences).

**What do you like best about Synthflow?**

I have just started using Synthflow, particularly to create AI appointment setting software. Since it is the first platform I'm trying for this purpose, I'm in an experimental phase to see if it can automate appointment settings effectively. While I haven't explored the full range of features yet, I'm particularly interested in understanding the calling aspect of Synthflow. If the product performs as I envision, I am likely to continue using it. Although I noted some initial challenges with navigation and portal lagging, once I got used to it, the setup process became manageable. My initial impression is neutral, as I am still exploring whether it aligns with my needs.

**What do you dislike about Synthflow?**

I find the portal somewhat difficult to navigate. The lagginess of the portal hampers my ability to use the platform smoothly.

**What problems is Synthflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're experimenting with Synthflow to automate appointment settings successfully, which could streamline our scheduling.

**What do you like best about Synthflow?**

I like the customizability of the voice agents, including the modular system for creating knowledge bases and integrating other applications.

**What do you dislike about Synthflow?**

The app was somewhat complicated to navigate. 

The voices for agents were not gendered, so trying to filter based on "male" or "female" in the dropdown filters yielded 0 results; moreover, there were no other filters, despite things like age and accent being obvious options for filters. 

I already opted to start a free trial, I already have a paid OpenAI API key, and I'm paying $1.50 per month for a number, but I can't even test out an agent BY MYSELF. This is EXTREMELY disappointing. I don't want to fill out this lengthy review for a few call-minutes just to see if I even like the tool. I should be allowed to have conversation with myself, free-of-charge. The membership trials are also rather lame. Two weeks only, then if I don't remember to cancel it in the event that it's not right for me, I'll be paying almost $500 dollars per month, minimum. Not only is it downright expensive, on its own, but it feels like you're trying to pigeonhole people into accidentally paying a large amount for the services. I'm literally trying to SELL your product to my clients as a part of my automation consulting business, and I can't test out the agent before committing to it personally or pitching it to my clients. You're hurting your own business!

I'm not sure why, but the Zapier integration just doesn't seem to be fully functioning. The embed portion isn't loading. When I try to connect from the integrations page, I'm prompted to "install" Zapier--a fully online tool. 

The difference between "actions" and "workflows" seems unclear.

I need an AI bot to handle phone-related work where a human otherwise would.

**What do you like best about Synthflow?**

I like Synthflow for its integration capabilities and the agency plan. When I want to add any third-party services like Twilio, it's very simple and helpful with options like go high level, Strive, MyOpenAI, and kail.com. I find the Twilio integration particularly simple and it's something I like the most. The setup was also very easy for me because I could just sign up with my Google account.

**What do you dislike about Synthflow?**

You need to improve your pricing plan. Make it simple and user-friendly so we can understand and choose the right plan. I noticed there's no basic plan on your website, and I think having one would be the best option.

Synthflow solves my main problem with agency white labeling.
