Easily and directly communicate with healthcare professionals. I am able to easily send a messenge to providers with an extension where they can reach me. In my experience, it allows better communication overall. Issues with patients medications are more easily solved. I utilize this healthcare tool mostly for our meds-to-beds program. Issues with prescriptions are more easily solved when clarification is needed. I have never had any real issues with the messeging app. Wifi compatability is typically direct and instantaneous. I have never had issues with the app crashing or freezing. It is very reliable and I receive messages/replies very fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were an easier way to remove unread messages. Occasionally it is hard to tell if a use is working or not working. At times I come back to work, login to my account and I will have multiple unread messages. I am not sure if there is a way to make automated messages when i am off or on vacation but that may be useful if the function doesn't exist. It is hard to find dislikes about this messenging service as it works very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Accessibility. I prefer to use the web-based version because I can see it easily while doing telehealth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While reminders are helpful, they come very frequently. If I'm with a patient, my watch may vibrate 5 times with reminders. I appreciate the reminders, but they're very close together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is fairly user friendly. You can create group messages and adding people is easy to do. Notifications are timely. Can use on a computer or smart phone. Actually easier to use on a smart phone via the app than a computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that you have to sign on via the computer every single time I have a message come up. I would like it to be an automatic sign on when I log into my computer in the morning. This slows down access.
This is also just nit picky, but I don't like that I can push the "enter" key to send the message and actually have to push send. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Creating contact groups is helpful for better communication regarding the Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
System is slow, freezes/stops responding frequently and this very frustrating as a clinic nurse when I am trying to contact other members of our team and our surgeons/residents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy accessibility, I can get in contact with any medical provider or staff member easily to benefit my patient Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that I cannot access my pictures from my phone to send to another provider. As an example, if I wanted to take a picture of a learning topic (no patient information) and save it to my photos, I cannot send that image in Halo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You are able to communicate with any healthcare worker. You can give patient names and also send pictures to a provider which is very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There really isn't anything I dislike about doc halo Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Secure messaging and easy to find names of the person you are trying to contact. It ensures HIPPA compliance while still making it easy to communicate effectively with consultant services. The help centre at halo health has also been amazing, when I initially had trouble logging in with my account on my previous phone they were prompt in answering my emails and helped me resolve my problem and even followed up on it at a later time. I also really appreciate the forward feature when I'm sent information that is pertinent to other physicians as well. I enjoy using Halo and would encourage all residency programs to adopt this system. I also really like that Halo can be accessed from both my phone and laptop. Inability to save the message once you start typing it when you want to look at a previous message. The inability to paste into the text box has also proven to be annoying when I need to send something that I received. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That I am able to see if and or when colleagues have read the messages I've sent in anticipation of a response Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a little bit difficult to add someone to a chat once started. Sometimes there may be someone else that needs to be added to a chat at any given time - with Halo, there were times when we would have to start a new group in order to add everyone that we needed the information relayed to. if there were some sort of process to make this easier that would be great. We also were unable to remove people from a group chat once started. Like the earlier problem, there were times when we just needed to be able to remove someone who was no longer affiliated with a project, or no longer on shift an d in order to do so we would need to start a new chat which was not always so efficient in the moment. The ease of finding other members and contacts in the community user search is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were some type of gallery for pictures, such as wounds or documents, to be stored and retrieved when needed; or an option to save more than one at a time to send to any member or members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
