Simple and easy to use. Good small business solution Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's feels old. It lacks features which have been purposefully held back. It doesn't interop well with certain sip trunks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As cliche as it sounds, I like how Switchvox just "works" and does what we need it to do. It may not have all the frills of other VOIP products, but for my use case it doesn't matter. I no longer have to use my office phone because SV helped me to link the two together. I haven't touched my office phone in months. I find the UI very user friendly and so far I haven't had any trouble setting up phone links. I've only had to contact support once when I was first setting up the product for my company, they were very friendly and quickly resolved my issues. The cost is very affordable compared to other products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some times my phones have gotten out of sync, it helps to restart the system every once and a while. Setting it up for the first time can be a bit complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The support team has always been accommodating in troubleshooting systems and setting up new processes. The setup of new telephones is simple and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The iPhone App could use some more work, but when it works, it is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Their customer service is superb. We wanted to route our calls differently based on the line they came in and every time we have called their representatives have been very patient and very knowledgeable about their products. They always make sure the issue is resolved before getting off the phone Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Haven't experienced any so far. Everything has been great. No complaints Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having recently switched to Switchvox as my VOIP, I was somehwat skeptical to see how effective and simplistic it would be to use, but it honestly blows its competition out of the water. Switchvox is fast, nimble, reliable and sleek, making the integration between softphone and hard landline seamless. Unlike other soft phones, Switchvox's interface gives users the options to control volume, speaker settings, and other highly useful features all from one simple interface as opposed to having to dig through menu after menu to find one simple option. At this time I really can't think of a downside with Switchvox, other than the fact that the app version of the product is much less functional than the desktop version. However, since I am reviewing the software as a whole, I will confidently report that I can think of no problems with this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The graphic user interface for Switchvox is simple and very easy to use. The pricing for the product for the features you get from it are virtually unmatchable. The number of advanced features available at no additional cost also constantly add value to an already great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting capabilities leave a lot to be desired. For starters, you can not specify multiple email recipients to send scheduled reports to. Secondly, you can not specify multiple individual queue reports within a broader, overarching report. And lastly, there appears to be a hard limit as to the number of scheduled reports that can either be simultaneously run and/or emailed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best is their support. Switchvox has a very nice Knowledge Base section where you can get most of, if not all your answers, answered. I also like that you can call them, email them, or Skype them for support cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At this moment, I have not had any issues that would cause me to dislike anything about Switchvox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Switchvox provides a comprehensive set of both PBX-like features and call center features that allow business to do just about anything they would need/want to do with a phone system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not as many integrations available as there are for other systems. Also, when the application Switchboard moved from Flash to HTML5 this had a huge impact on usability/efficiency for users of large or main switchboards because of the loss of drag-and-drop call forwarding/redirection. Also, recent builds are more focused on the use of Digium-branded phones rather than industry-standard VoIP phones like Polycom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the touch screen options, it makes switching and picking up calls really easy. I also like that I can set the ring tone for external and internal calls. I also like that we can customize the screen saver and we can upload employee photos so when you need to talk to someone in the office, you just have to click on their picture. We have to call when we need things set up (ie cues and parking lots). We also lose service a handful of times a year. It is also annoying that I have to be the one to initate a call to do a 3 way call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Denis has been exceptionally helpful over the years that we have utilized Switchvox. Heath has also been exceptionally helpful through the years as well.
Basically it is nice when we get good support, not just folks who read from a script but they use their knowledge of the system to point us in the right direction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Digium forces you to be on the latest version even if the current version you have is stable with the exception of small issues that once were troubleshootable when said version was the current. After the version is upgraded, Digium pretends as if the older versions never existed. Also, I would like the ability to programmatically build and/or manage IVRs.
We've had now 2 Switchvox 470's drive arrays literally burn up in the server rack at the data center during production, as in they smelt like electrical fires had occurred in the connecting wires from the motherboard to the array itself (sata cables)
Only as high as tier 2 support is available on the weekend unless specially requested ahead of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
