What do you like best about Sumo Logic?

Sumo Logic is a wonderful that allows us to customize searches and alerts. it has support for a vast number services to ingest logs from Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumo Logic?

There is no MacOS application similar to the Windows and Linux one Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sumo Logic solving and how is that benefiting you?

Siem and centralized logging tool. We have been able to aggregate logs from multiple sources and set up alerting based on the sources of the logs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm sorry to hear that an outage or delay in data has impacted you. The availability of our service is something we take very seriously and while we strive to totally eliminate outages, we acknowledge they do occur on rare occasions. The good news here is we have a rigorous post-mortem process and we make every attempt to learn from and prevent the same mistakes so they don't occur again in the future. With regard to delays in log ingest, we generally see latency between 30 seconds and less than 2 minutes. There are quite a few factors that can influence this though, so I would encourage you to reach out to g2-feedback@sumologic.com so we can ensure that you're set up appropriately.

I think it's amazing how fast sumo can search through millions of logs to find exactly what I'm searching for. The speed and configurability is really great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am sorry that you were not able to find information on best practices. We have been working hard at making sure that sort of thing is better documented. Our App Catalog is a great place to start when looking to see what can be monitored and what other customers have asked for via dashboards, etc.

endless customization of queries... the ability to pull in logs from so many sources and piece them all together in a single, correlated thread without having to go to multiple places and manually piece logs together. so much time and effort saved! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
