Subscript is the first invoicing platform I've really used, so I don't have a whole lot to compare it to. But it's great having everything in one place. Our AR and metrics would be so much messier without it. I particularly like the metrics section, which is now our company's source of truth for ARR (we were using a spreadsheet previously). Their support is amazing when we do run into issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be buggy occasionally, but it's never more than a minor inconvenience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- the software is very intuitive
- outstanding service
- we went from signing the contract to being fully operational on the Subscript billing and analytics platform within 2 weeks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- a native integration with Datev would be great
- analytics are currently focused on SaaS metrics, I would like to have billing analytics as well, eg. cash-in vs MRR, DSO, etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are an early stage dev tool company with a hosted version that is usage based with a few enterprise customers that are on a monthly fixed invoice. The initial Subscript implementation was a breeze and their support and ops team are super responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Subscript is a new product so new features are continually being rolled out. The support + ops team has helped their product team prioritize features we wanted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We originally purchased Subscript to solve a manual billing process driven primarily by Post-it notes and spreadsheets. This was causing invoicing delays and collection challenges. Since implementing Subscript, we've automated the entire A/R cycle from invoicing to automated dunning and collections. It has saved our AR/AP person hours monthly and led to faster collections.
However, we've found other significant efficiency gains with revenue recognition automation and analytics. We've now cut off an entire day from our close cycle with automated revenue recognition and deferred balance reporting.
Additionally, I've appreciated its analytics module. It's been so powerful to have all of our standard SaaS metrics in one place at my fingertips. It has not only saved me time on the strategic finance side of things but created better insights into what's happening and what will happen with our revenue.
For context, we sell both annual and usage-based contracts. Their integration with Salesforce has made those two revenue cycles easy to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Subscript is a start-up. As such, their product isn't as mature as some others on the market. As a result, some of the "nice to have" features aren't there yet. However, they've overcome those challenges with an incredibly fast development cycle and excellent customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Flexibility and features to adapt the results to complex/specific contracts recognition
- Seamless Salesforce integration (custom objects, sync...)
- Predetermined metrics that standardize the reporting and provide easy to understand tables/graphs (ex: waterfalls)
- Excellent support and integration team !
- Quick evolutions and reactivity, excellent potential for the future evolutions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Just talking about place for improvement, no "dislike" at this point:
- Still requests some more interactive reports models and relative time filters (for instance, from... until today, not a fixed date)
- Some more admin capabilities (user management, roles, groups, etc.)
- Being able to integrate billing reporting/alerts vs reco (currently in dev I believe...) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Revenue metrics are easy to compute and visualize if you are looking to escape QBB/Excel hell. Revenue management & invoicing/reminders are really easy to manage especially if you're dealing with customers with shorter or irregular invoicing schedules. Customized revenue vs accounting revenue recognition & the ability to verify all their internal calculations. Customer support integrates with your Slack environment and is very responsive. App-model and UI makes it easy to use and you want to come back to it frequently to review numbers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not many I can think of. The one feature it lacked, their team implemented and rolled out to us in less than a month, which speaks to the velocity of their internal improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The team from sales to onboarding to customer support was engaging and a joy to work with.
Prior to Subscript, all of our metrics were calculated manually on an ad-hoc basis which made desision making in a fast growth environment difficult.
Being multi-currency and multi-product, the ability for the slicing and dicing of data is super simple at the click of a button.
We have been able to work closely with the team at Subscript to enhance features, which has provided additional benefits over and above what we expected when making the decision to partner with Subscript. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I particularly "dislike" with subscript. There are some areas for improvement such as user access management, however the team at Subscript always welcome feedback and have been very responsive to our queries with either quick updates or clarity on the product roadmap. The product is intuitive to use, automates a lot of steps in the invoicing process, and helps with tracking to-dos and keeping everything reconciled. It has saved us a lot of time already, and we still have an opportunity to get more when we're ready to integrate with our CRM. Aside from the product features, the best part about Subscript is the customer service. Of all the software tools I have used over the years, they are by far the most responsive, the best communicators, and the most attentive to answering our questions. It's a newer product so it may not yet have all the bells and whistles that a more established product has, but the team is very receptive to feedback and putting things on their roadmap. We've also uncovered a couple minor bugs here and there as early adopters, but the impact has been minimal and they fix them almost immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's reliable, efficient, powerful and easy to use. It allows us to easily upload and analyze complex data. Excellent customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's almost too powerful. While the interface is intuitive, it takes a while to learn about all the different ways to analyze and report data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Subscript is a fresh approach in the area of SaaS billing and metric management. The team are very responsive and ensure we extract value from our investment. Subscript has replaced our SaaS billing in the enterprise space streamling direct and reseller billing activtiy, Resulting SaaS metrics also make it easier to stay on top of the bigger picture. I would highly recommend a meeting with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to dislike. As a new platform there are elements that can improve, but they are extremlely responsive with feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
