What do you like best about Stonebranch?

Despite it being new to my knowledge, I was pretty surprised that it was very easy to use and understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stonebranch?

The only cons I can see for now is the tool's inability to generate a comprehensive result in generating the jobs' definition/dependencies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stonebranch?

Stonebranch helps us to orchestrate and automate business and IT processes. It ships a lot of types of tasks that we use to connect systems, cloud and databases. It's easy to deploy, manage and use. Stonebranch works on Windows, Linux, and it's a reliable and stable platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stonebranch?

Sometimes there is no type of task we need, but it has an interface to build new integrations. Eventually, you can publish it on Stonabranch's Integration Hub.

Although documentation is good, occasionally, there is a lack of information about some options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stonebranch?

Stonebranch is capable of scheduling complex workflow with restrictions. I like that it is gui-based and it is easier to drag the dependencies inside the workstream. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Forecasting a job in stonebranch can be improved. It is also quite difficult to export complex workflow dependency and not veryone is familiar with Stonebranch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stonebranch?

Stonebranch has a robust permissions system, which allows for granular control over almost every resource, combining that with easy integration with AD or LDAP, allows for efficient and easy centralized permissions management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stonebranch?

Certain tasks only allow for basic auth. Given the current security climate around more robust authentication methods, it seems outdated not to have more modern authentication methods available by default.

One example is with the Email tasks, where only Basic Auth is available, which isn't even able to connect to O365 anymore since they have recently disabled it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stonebranch?

stonebranch universal controller is used primarily as a scheduler for background jobs. it helped us to move jobs from SAP to one single place, which allows us to easily manage them. It gives us the opportunity to automatically create incidents with an API so no manual monitoring is required anymore. With custom-created reports we are able to provide required information to auditors. we're still learning about a tool and investigating the next automatization opportunities with stonebranch Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stonebranch?

since the release of SB in our company i did not have any complaints about it;'s functionality, from my point of view it would be good to have some advanced analytics tool available to create more sufficient reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stonebranch?

The idea is that it's so scalable. The method of billing and knowing that there is only one platform that it is designed for. Example: we can utilize this product on our AS400, or on any Windows Server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stonebranch?

There is a bit of a learning curve, originally. When we installed it, I created a simple program to check all active jobs, then an output. The primary issue I have with Stone Branch would have to be simply absorbing the spooled file output (print outs) then removing them on the host by default. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stonebranch?

Stability and easy setup of agents on different servers. Gives the ability to manage the file transfer process in one central space which is very powerful and comfortable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stonebranch?

The update process is not automatized and needs the involvement of our team. We would appreciate having more user-friendly updates to avoid risk which is caused by involving the local team and increased human error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
