A lot can be accomplished by simply poking around, without needing to consult documentation. **What do you dislike about Control-M?** The workspace checkout feature is a bit clunky. Sometimes, you'll encounter issues with locked folders that make it difficult to get work done. **What problems is Control-M solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy, centralized detection of job failures. ### 2. You also can trigger them. **What do you dislike about Control-M?** You have to exclusively checkout workspace when you need to change task. So you should wait or ask somebody to release workspace to make some changes. **Recommendations to others considering Control-M:** It is useful if you have a plenty of scheduled tasks or you want to allow support team use its tasks instead of scripts. **What problems is Control-M solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have some applications that need to be restarted overnight. Control-M is used as a scheduler in this case. Our support team uses it to stop and start applications while deployment. ### 4.
