The modules and libraries have changed how we interact with the marketing teams. It's the perfect solution to allow marketers to collobate on a pixel perfect system without providing direct access to the you main deployment tool. Then for a select audience you can grant permissions to let them push final emails into the ESP.

There are no downsides from the product level.

I loved that Stensul presented the finished look and feel of our branded emails--what they would look like in a user's inbox--and allowed me to hover over a link, presenting the url that I could then follow to proof and ensure we had it correctly linked in our email. It was so easy. And, the ability to use comment bubbles throughout the email proof to note necessary edits made the whole process easy to collaborate with my team on what needed to be changed. The review and approval process was streamlined, and sure beats the old-school method of sending a test message, reviewing it in my inbox and then trying to describe in chat or another email to the email team what needed to be changed. With Stensul you can speed up the email production process, and there is no need for hand coding. Stensul allows the teams to work easily and efficiently, and you can create great responsive emails and landing pages. Also their custumer support is amazing. There are not enough words to say how much time I save as an email developer when building /editing email using Stensul. The integration with Email On Acid is a really gem.

Easy to use interface and how it fosters collaboration across our marketing team. I work for an enterprise software company with a marketing operations team that owns our marketing automation platform but they don't want marketing program/campaigns team to create emails directly in Marketo.

We use Stensul as the medium to collaborate between the teams. The templates are great, as a campaign manager, I create my emails the way I want and share with our operations team who then QA it and import directly into Marketo for the send. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you are a small team then you may not find Stensul most beneficial, this is mainly helpful atleast for us since we have multiple users creating emails, standardizing emails and having reviwers/share final email in layout. Stensul really makes it easy to create beautiful marketing emails. It is very user friendly and easy to use, and allows for a lot of customization without needing to know how to code/HTML. I love that there are set templates and modules that you simply drag and drop into your campaign -- this makes for really aesthetic and clean designs that are consistent across each email and also you don't need to think twice about designing. I use Stensul weekly and have been using it for over 2 years now and I love that I can just copy an older campaign to make a new one so I don't even ever have to start from scratch. The only thing I would change/add to Stensul is an "undo" button or feature. If I do accidentally delete something or make a change, I am unfortunately not able to "undo" it, but instead I have to do it all over again. Stensul is very user-friendly. As somone who is used to piecing together marketing material with the help of "cut-and-paste" options, Stensul makes it so easy and includes step-by-step instructions to create whatever marketig material you need. There isn't too much to say about Stensul that I do not like. If I had to choose something I would say I wish there were more pre-approved photo options instead of having to sift through google for just the right one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Stensul production model puts building close to the knowledge centers. Modules are easy to build and arrange, with easy templating. Stensul will always output best-in-class code and will always remain competitive vs other tools. The complete proofing and approval loop will allow for tools reduction in our org as well as quick feedback loops. Not only does Stensul help us create on-brand, mobile-optimized emails faster, but it’s also streamlined our review and approval workflows to ensure the highest possible quality. However, I believe the best part about Stensul is the white-glove service provided by their customer success managers. Whether we need help customizing modules, expert advice or troubleshooting assistance, they've been invaluable to us. Unfortunately, Stensul's packages don’t include unlimited modules, so if we reach the maximum allowed, we have to remove existing modules to make room for new ones. And while Stensul does come at a premium, our team has found it well worth the investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Stensul is consistently used across our team and is super user friendly. It can easily be picked up by anyone interested in learning, however there are multiple resources available to help guide you in using the platform. They offer various trainings and certifications, plus the Stensul team always keeps us updated with latest releases/updates to the tool – the team is always willing to help us and guide our team with new functionalities that we can implement. They have frequent meetings/seminars discussing upcoming plans/capabilities too! There are so many features and capabilities available, we take advantage of multiple in order to be super-efficient in launching emails. We are always working towards trimming down SLAs, so we are consistently updating modules, creating templates, and always looking for more efficient ways of getting emails out the door – wouldn’t be possible without Stensul. There are a couple of hiccups that we have encountered using different capabilities on platform, examples include tool being slow/laggy & certain features not being available. Even when I was a beginner to the tool, I was able to start using it with ease to create custom templates that fit any of our business use cases. If other departments wanted a new layout, I was able to create beautiful templates in no time.

Now after about one year of using Stensul, I am still a big fan. I create templates quickly and seemlessly and it has helped us to keep up with our growing email volume over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the admin settings are more difficult to navigate. Also, the image tool doesn't help you resize images very well, you are really stuck with the original dimensions and proportions and if they are not ideal, the photo will be blurry.

Additionally, the new AI tools are not always impressive. We often use the subject line and preheader as jumping off points for ideas, but end up changing them to our style because they sound awkward. The AI image creator creates often creepy versions of humans, so we don't find much use in that feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
