- From a developer standpoint, Stedi is the best experience I've had by far when it comes to support, documentation, and ease of integration.
- I've used Stedi every day for the past year, and it has been super easy to pick up and implement into many systems.
- Stedi comes with tons of helpful features like mappings, functions, stash, and event destinations which make setting up a data pipeline incredibly easy.

It takes the complexity of EDI and simplifies it. The complexity of EDI can bother newcomers such as myself. I stepped into a world of pain without knowing what I was up against. Not only would I have had to orchestrate interpreting EDI in whatever programming language I was using, I'd have to then figure out how to how to handle dispatching and managing responses.
None of that was required. Literally within minutes I could receive an 856 and trigger a JavaScript function that sent the translated EDI wherever I wanted. Truly remarkable.

Stedi is incredibly user-friendly and hassle-free. Their knowledgeable team provides several ready-to-use guides upon signup. In the freight tech industry, dealing with EDI can be a bit antiquated, but Stedi allows us to stay focused on what we do best. Their modern API solution enables us to effortlessly connect and start trading EDI files with multiple partners within just a few days. It's a game-changer for us! Stedi is one of the few software platforms that I truly think is doing everything right. It abstracts the cumbersome technical complexities of EDI, liberating me from file parsing, validation, SFTP setup, etc.. It allows me to devote my energy to the actual utilization of the data we exchange via EDI, rather than burning time on technical minutiae. It similarly streamlines the procedural complexity and required background knowledge by baking in a wealth of institutional knowledge. My own understanding of EDI has grown substantially through my interaction with the Stedi ecosystem.
It strikes a perfect balance between comprehensive feature coverage and intuitiveness. There’s very little you can’t do and very little that’s hard to figure out. In my experience, such a balance is a rare find, as complexity often seems to rise in tandem with feature richness.
On the rare occasion that I find a Stedi feature to be confusing, they answer questions quickly and thoroughly. On the rare occasion I need a feature that Stedi doesn’t have, they really listen to feature requests and prioritize things that are blocking (but again, this is rare — Stedi possesses a borderline freaky ability to anticipate user needs).

I think the closest thing to a pitfall is that the Stedi team moves very quickly so there’s some amount of maintenance that’s needed to keep our software up to date with Stedi’s evolving feature set. The Stedi team is really helpful in that process though, and has provided support and tooling that’s allowed us to update things without any interruption of service and minimal friction on our end. The most impressive aspect of Stedi is its ability to simplify the notoriously complex EDI integration process. The platform's developer-friendly nature allowed our team to set up integrations with eight 3PL providers in just a few weeks, which was critical for landing a major contract. The Destination webhooks for forwarding transactions and the comprehensive file execution page for monitoring are standout features. Additionally, Stedi's customer support has been excellent, extremely responsive, and very personable. The initial navigation of Stedi's user interface was somewhat confusing, which presented a significant learning curve at the start. This was compounded by the timing of our onboarding experience, as Stedi implemented substantial UI changes during this period, making it challenging to keep up with the new environment. 1. Product UI is extremely easy to use to add new guides & mappings
2. Easy to debug where transactions have failed
3. Sample to guide auto creation tool is incredible

Online EDI reference guides that conform to ANSI X12 standards allowed us to rapidly onboard new trading partners. The ability to inspect ingestion errors and see clear reasons further accelerated the onboarding process.
Engineers can see a raw EDI message and its JSON equivalent side-by-side. That allows them to better understand the specification from a customer's perspective. As customers share raw EDI examples, we can connect the dots. This is not possible on other EDI platforms.
Customer support has been easy to reach and helpful. We feel that we truly have a integration partner in Stedi. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Observability of production issues (e.g. broken webhook, files that failed to ingest for legitimate reasons) required additional plumbing. While Stedi.com has 2 beautiful dashboards, dashboards are only useful when someone looks at them. We needed to go a step further and proactively raise attention to people who can do something about the problem. Stedi's destination webhooks allow us to do that. Stedi has been absolutely great to work with since we onboarded. As a team, we had very little knowledge about EDI, and Stedi helped get us up to speed quickly so that we could begin exhanging data with customers and meet all requirements set out by our trading partners. Stedi transformed what used to take months of manual interaction with customers into a couple of days to complete an integration and most of that work is on the API side. We are an API shop that needs to be sensitive to the EDI world to expand our reach in the transportation industry and Stedi has provided a product and leadership to help us accomplish our goals. The support from their team has exceeded expectation and their ability to understand our needs and present the right feature set to meet those needs was the difference between failure and success in the EDI world. I have STEDI in my workflow on a day to day basis. It was incredibly easy to set up and get started! Anytime I have an issue or an inquiry, the STEDI team is incredibly responsive and will work towards getting a solution as quick as possible. Their response time has tremendously helped our adoption of the tool. STEDI's ease of integration into our ecosystem has made for the product experience to be incredible. The biggest downside to Stedi is that they are still growing. A lot of my pain is a bit of the manual work I have to do for setup; however, Stedi has provided us with a lot of support to overcome these inconveniences with hands on support from their end.
