Stackline's product suite helps us manage the day-to-day of our Amazon business (domestic and international) and better understand the evolving competitive landscape. The usability of their portals is seamless and the visualizations are beautiful enough to share with leadership.
We utilize Beacon regularly to gain insight into how we are performing as an Amazon vendor, including sales, inventory, profitability, chargebacks, digital shelf analytics (content, pricing, buy box, reviews), and paid/organic traffic. It takes a ton of time for our team to pull similar data reports out of Vendor Central and position them in a way that will be helpful for our internal stakeholders. Beacon automates the messy excel work and helps us better visualize the full picture of our business. I also love their Waterfall feature in Beacon which will clearly call out the reasons why unit sales were up/down during a specific period of time. Some changes that it can identify include variances in pricing, the impact of lost buy box, and changes in traffic at the keyword/product level, all while assigning a unit sales impact to that specific variable. It saves our team the digging/guessing to uncover why our sales velocity is changing over time. Instead, we can leverage data.
We utilize Atlas to discover category trends and how we stack up to our competition. This has been a great tool to uncover emerging brands, identify trending keywords, quantify the impact of 3P sales, and review overall category trends like traffic and sales. We can see sales/traffic/ad spend data at the product level for each ASIN in the category which has been a good comparative measure for us. The data accuracy far surpasses the alternative solutions that we have evaluated. The data updates weekly with only a couple day delay for the prior week's reporting.
Finally, we also utilize Drive, which is an ad automation platform for our paid search campaigns on Amazon. In real time, Drive helps us move around budgets, adjust bids, add keywords/products, enable dayparting, etc. all in an effort to optimize our campaigns to our intended goals. Drive also leverages traffic data to give us insight into incremental ad sales versus ad sales that we may have acquired organically, allowing us to balance our ad strategy to our needs.

This is a great platform to see competitior data. I appreciate how you can go into the subcategories of the main segments and also filter by subcategories when looking into segment data. I did see that they have added new features on consumer insights, I haven't needed to use that function yet but I do think it is super useful just by playing around in it, and was a great idea to add to the platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The program is very slow and laggy so it's not that great in that aspect. I also wish there was a better way for how you download data to compare segments/brands / products YoY. It gets confusing having a "main" and a "comparison" for each line in the report. I wish it was more similar to SPINS where it showed YA performance in the columns Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use SL almost daily. Great market data, including competitive. This helps us gain clear perspective on where our brand sits from a market share standpoint on the Amazon platform.
From a product standpoint, the tool provides our NPD teams with valuable data on what products are trending upwards, helping our team identify key features to include/exclude based on overall value.

I'm not a fan of the SL taxonomy. If there was one area they could really improve it woudl be this. We've been able to navigate it with their teams, but there's been several instances where key competitive brands/products don't show up in the expected categories, and therefore at times our data will be skewed. I like that stackline is very user friendly and easy to understand. I can look at many different metrics on one page or zoom into specifics and get down to the grain. Stackline is a very user firendly tool that provides insights into the ecommerce world for your brands, market and competitors. The tool is very easy to use and intuitive with easy access to key metrics such as market share, sales ($ and units), traffic, etc. The data is mostly directional but has been useful for us to make business decisions. I enjoy using Stackline. The platform is straightforward to use and it is quite intuitive. It offers plenty of information covering a variety of metrics. The interface is great. It is easy to build, view and download reports. Segments are easy to create and reuse. There is almost nothing I want out of Stackline's reporting tools that I am unable to get. It is especially valuable for the data and insights that are not available anywhere else (such as category and competitor data in Atlas). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-I need easier segment catgorizations/folders. Right now every segment created by anyone with the organization is contained in a single shared space. I need folders by business/brand at a minimum. Ideally, there would be a more robust categorization system, but I definitely don't want/need to see reports for any other brands.
-1P data does not always match Vendor Central, and that can be alarming
-3P data can often be very different than what is in Seller Central, and that is compounded by the inclusion of "rogue" 3P. I would love a way to see 1P, inside 3P and outside 3P so that I can better separate out sales and understand my business performance.
