What do you like best about Stackline?

This is a great platform to see competitior data. I appreciate how you can go into the subcategories of the main segments and also filter by subcategories when looking into segment data. I did see that they have added new features on consumer insights, I haven't needed to use that function yet but I do think it is super useful just by playing around in it, and was a great idea to add to the platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stackline?

The program is very slow and laggy so it's not that great in that aspect. I also wish there was a better way for how you download data to compare segments/brands / products YoY. It gets confusing having a "main" and a "comparison" for each line in the report. I wish it was more similar to SPINS where it showed YA performance in the columns Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?

Stackline is helping us solve the gaps we see in other category data reports on Amazon. It's very helpful to especially see how much money other brands are putting towards promos/search/etc. over time, and how that affects the product performance. I think if stackline would be able to intergrate the consumer insights features into the landing pages of each of the brands/products it would be so helpful seeing it all on one screen! What do you like best about Stackline?

I use SL almost daily. Great market data, including competitive. This helps us gain clear perspective on where our brand sits from a market share standpoint on the Amazon platform.

From a product standpoint, the tool provides our NPD teams with valuable data on what products are trending upwards, helping our team identify key features to include/exclude based on overall value.

Search term data is great as it gives our demand gen team very specific information to leverage as we build our our own campaings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stackline?

I'm not a fan of the SL taxonomy. If there was one area they could really improve it woudl be this. We've been able to navigate it with their teams, but there's been several instances where key competitive brands/products don't show up in the expected categories, and therefore at times our data will be skewed. Obviously, creating segments can help offset this, but it's definitely a challenge to work around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's providing us insight into top selling items, how much share they are taking, and how they are doing it (ie non-branded search terms driving their success). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stackline?

I like that stackline is very user friendly and easy to understand. I can look at many different metrics on one page or zoom into specifics and get down to the grain. The team is also super friendly and helpful, and always respond to questions quickly! I use stackline weekly to check market share/category data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stackline?

The only issue I have with Stackline is that the different application live on different pages, and it can get confusing switching between beacon and atlas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?

Stackline is helping us track market share in categories of note, which allows us to share with key stakeholders where we are stealing marketshare from competitors. We have also begun to use stackline to help us manage chargebacks, which has helped us in scaling back hours spent disputing, giving time back to manage other parts of our business. What do you like best about Stackline?

Stackline is a very user firendly tool that provides insights into the ecommerce world for your brands, market and competitors. The tool is very easy to use and intuitive with easy access to key metrics such as market share, sales ($ and units), traffic, etc. The data is mostly directional but has been useful for us to make business decisions. Lastly, their customer support is also very friendly and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stackline?

The taxonomy has been a challenge for us since the way they categorize certain products are not aligned to the way we look at the business. Filtering and segmentation has proved to be a challenge at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has allowed us to have a better understanding of the market and our own business and enable us to make decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stackline?

The self service analytics that enables market share for amazon and other retailers with easy to navigate UX. Allows our team to better make decisions and understand our business. Stackline is easy to learn and integrates well within our process, making it a weekly if not daily go to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stackline?

There are some nuances around market grouping which may allow items that do not fit the segment to regularly appear in the group, which makes it somewhat timeconsuming to audit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?

It gives us access to market share data for customers that we wouldnt normally be able to get data from such as unlocking market share data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Stackline?

The interface is great. It is easy to build, view and download reports. Segments are easy to create and reuse. There is almost nothing I want out of Stackline's reporting tools that I am unable to get. It is especially valuable for the data and insights that are not available anywhere else (such as category and competitor data in Atlas). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stackline?

-I need easier segment catgorizations/folders. Right now every segment created by anyone with the organization is contained in a single shared space. I need folders by business/brand at a minimum. Ideally, there would be a more robust categorization system, but I definitely don't want/need to see reports for any other brands.

-1P data does not always match Vendor Central, and that can be alarming

-3P data can often be very different than what is in Seller Central, and that is compounded by the inclusion of "rogue" 3P. I would love a way to see 1P, inside 3P and outside 3P so that I can better separate out sales and understand my business performance. This might be unclear, so I'm happy to talk about it more with someone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Stackline solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Stackline to solve a range of problems. Stackline is, first and foremost, my primary source of competitor sales data. This allows me to track category share. Additionally, Stackline provides a range of measures not found in my retailer analytical tools such as traffic, traffic course, search term popularity, etc. Stackline is my number one tool for all data outside of my brand data. When I need to know more about where the catgory is and where it is headed, Stackline is the way to do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
