While there is a need to understand the SCOM health model to get the most value out of SquaredUp, it makes it possible to deliver a view on Enterprise applications and overall service levels to the business and end-users. We use it to deliver the health state to the customer as a service provider. It allows the customer to focus on the overall health rather than individual components and incidents. Integrations with other sources of information ( we used Azure REST, Citrix NITRO, SQL queries for instance) deliver on the single pane of glass promise. As it relies on IIS, it inherits the issues with Kerberos and multiple authentication domains. It does not have all extensibility features of Grafana, for instance but does trade that for an easier learning curve Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
