Intercept X is generally a good peice of software. It is fairly lightwight on our machines and is very quick to catch issues. It can sometimes be too good at catching things and flag software made by some of our engineers as malicious but its better safe than sorry. I use it regulary and Sophos Central is useful for tracking computers that might not be fully protected. It installs quickly on new machines and doesn't always require a restart which is a plus. I haven't had to conntact support but based on other team members, they are pretty responsive. I really like its intergration into Microsoft 365 allowing for SSO. It can be annoying when you need to uninstall the software since it requires tamper protection to be disabled. This isn't really a bad thing but can make it take longer to troubleshoot issues on computers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The product impresses with a slim client and a simple initial option to roll it out. The endpoints are provided with basic protection without any further settings. With the support of the collected data, the behavior of an incident detected by the client can be traced via the central cloud dashboard and what actions the suspected software has carried out on the endpoint. This product allows me as an IT Administrator to confortably work in several realms of my job, and not spend so much time worrying if a computer is vulnerable, or if a user is doing something they should not. SOPHOS provides the peice of mind to which most admins spend ours on end going through logs and doing investigative work. Eveyrthing is at your fingertips, in readable dashboards. Only downside to using SOPHOS is understanding threats better. Even though a threat might be detected, understanding what that threat is and its severity, can be somewhat confusing. For example, we work closely with in house development teams who often generate and compile code to be implemented on products from their computers. Often times, SOPHOS will intervene when compiling software or code. This can create a nightmare and it would be nice to know when and if something like this is a rising threat or initiated by one of my developers. I like the proactive threat protection against varied types of cyber attacks. I like how nimble this service is to quickly identiy, protech/block the access and notify administrator regarding the breach. I have heard many positive comments coming out of our employees in terms of how easy it is to use this service on their own without much training. Since this product has wide variety of integration available with other IT products, it is much easier to make this product/service seamlessly integrate with Microsoft AD (AD Sync), monitor the threats real-time and receiving helpful ways of resolving any particular breach(s). A solution that provides a high level of protection to the IT environment: computers, laptops, servers, etc. It is easy to implement and easy to manage. In the XDR part, despite having a significant data lake, the queries are somewhat complex and sometimes a bit slow in execution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Only one console to manage all Sophos products and with the "Connectors", now we can add other parts of my infraestructure, creating a true XDR platform based in a great endpoint protection product that has provided valued along these years we have been using it.
