It offers a complete new way of bringing value to our clients. As a digital agency we are always doing something for our clients but have struggles brining them the results and data in a visual way. Softr allows us to bring out customers in a platform where we can showcase them results and they can continue managing certain inputs within the database on their own.
Its is very easy to use, anymore in our team can work on it, which helps us a lot with our ressources interannaly. Easy to implement any data, if you have some knowledge in airtable. We already integrated it with stripe, zapier, etc. all very easy and for the rest, the customer support is really fast with their help! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a creative team, we would just like to see more flexibility in terms of interface design. But its ok for noww. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have zero coding experience and I was able to build an app in less than 7 days. Platform is so easy to use with tons of templates that you can choose from. Free version gives you so much freedom that you can try everything and make sure it is a good fit for you before you buy. I had one problem in making my app that I couldn't fix myself and Andranik from the support team was with me on a call for one hour, helping me fix it and I wasn't even on the paid plan. All recommendations to everyone who is thinking about which no-code platform to use. Softr is the all around best choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My experience with Softr have no negative associations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Softr is honestly one of the easiest no-code platforms I’ve used. The drag-and-drop editor makes everything super intuitive from the start—no need for technical skills or tutorials. You just start building, and within minutes, you’ve got something up and running. The Notion integration (which I use for my CRM) works just as smoothly. Setting up my database was quick, and in just a few steps, everything was structured and ready to go.
It has all the basics to build something solid without overcomplicating things: pre-made templates to get started faster, customizable blocks for different needs, direct integration with Notion and Airtable, and a clean, responsive design that looks good on any device.
That said, if you’re looking for advanced interactions or more customization, it might feel a bit limited.
One thing I really liked was the customer support. Even on the free plan, they responded quickly and actually helped, which isn’t always the case with no-code platforms—many just give generic or slow replies if you’re not paying.
I use Softr regularly to manage my CRM and share information with clients. If they added more interactive features, I’d probably rely on it even more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Softr has a few areas that could be improved. First, the pricing model has too big of a jump between the free and paid plans. A mid-tier option for freelancers who only need one published app without paying too much would be a great addition.
Another issue is the way blocks connect, which feels pretty limited. If you have a database with items and want to click on one to see its details in another table, there’s no native way to link them. Adding this feature would make the platform much more useful for CRMs and database-driven apps.
I also think it could really use an in-app commenting system, something like Notion, where users can leave notes and feedback directly. That would make it a much better tool for CRM, project management, and team collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a number of things that I love about Softr, but the thing I find most useful is their responsiveness to feedback and feature updates based on that feedback. I have been using Softr for over two years now, and it has gotten easier and easier to use and build, both because of their live support and the improvements of functionality. I am building is Softr every single day. I especially like some of the newer features, which I had been hoping for for a long time, like container blocks (which allow for more side-by-side blocks, and tab containers. There is not too much that I dislike about Softr, mostly because they have shown that they are always working towards improving their product to best meet the needs of users and builders. Sometimes when they are beta-testing new features or updates, I see something doesn't quite flow the way I expect it to, but then I remember it is just beta and it will improve. The application is extremely easy to use and very intuitive. The features are pretty basic but for most situations that is all you need. There are many ways to expand the basic functionality by performing simple integrations with other best of breed tools. Customer support seems pretty fast for urgent issues. It is a no code builder, it is not a development platform requiring coding and too much thought process like most no code builders require. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface is pretty slow at times when querying Airtable data. It makes sense that there would be some speed issues given Softr performance relies on Airtable's performance, but some other SAAS providers don't seem to have such similar visible issues. Theme editing is very simple in terms of global settings for an application, alot of changes that should be made at the global level need to be made at the object level. Form building isn't the best experience but you can use other applications better suited to these tasks and nearly seamlessly integrate them with the Softr end user experience. What I appreciate most is how seamlessly it integrates with Airtable, making data management and dynamic content updates effortless. The drag-and-drop interface is user-friendly, yet flexible enough to create professional-looking applications. Additionally, the support team is responsive and helpful, I like how they address any issues or questions quickly. In terms of frequency of use, I rely on Softr daily for managing projects and creating web apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One limitation is the customization flexibility—although the drag-and-drop builder is intuitive, advanced design and functionality tweaks can sometimes feel restrictive without custom code. More native styling options and deeper integrations would make it even more versatile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use, quick to build, and highly flexible thanks to its customizable blocks. The native API integration with HubSpot is a game-changer, saving us a lot of time. The customer service is outstanding—I almost always get a response immediately, even on weekends—so whenever I get stuck, I can resolve it and move forward quickly. Not that much. It’s just that it takes a second or two to load information from HubSpot when I update a property, but overall, it’s manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Softr offers an intuitive, beginner-friendly way to build web apps using Airtable as a backend. The UI is clean and easy to navigate, which helped me get started quickly, even with zero coding knowledge. I appreciated the wide range of prebuilt blocks and the drag-and-drop interface that made layout and data display quite accessible. Their support team is responsive, which was especially valuable during troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As soon as I tried to build something more dynamic — like a dashboard using anonymous codewords and user-specific filtering without authentication — the limitations became obvious. The inability to redirect users based on form inputs, limited flexibility with conditional visibility, and restrictions around filtering dynamic content without a user login made it very difficult to build my envisioned workflow. Even workarounds felt clunky and hard to maintain. For anyone with more complex logic or privacy-sensitive requirements, the platform quickly shows its limits within the free version. Softr's customer service is truly outstanding. When I encountered issues with my website and subscription, their team responded quickly and provided personalized assistance tailored to my specific needs. Their representatives were not only knowledgeable but also demonstrated genuine care and understanding throughout the troubleshooting process. The speed at which they resolved my problems left me impressed, and their attentiveness made me feel valued as a customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to dislike, the user interface is great, the software backend and frontend are exceptionnaly well made compared to other solutions in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the neat user interface and I'm used to the "block" approach softr.io employs from building website. What astonishes me most though is the deep integration with Airtable and Notion. When it comes to implemenation, it's literally clicking three times and your data is connected. How cool is that? And I do love the fact that I don't have to pay anymore airtable seats for new users. This does save a lot of money. And their customer support is fast and helpful.
For my AI automation business, softr.io has become an essential peace in the tool box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
to be honest: no downsides found so far. Sorry Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of building visually appealing dynamic websites using various data sources, along with the ability to add actions, filters, and more. Great customer support if you have a business account. Easy to implement and integrate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Other tools offer great flexibility when composing static apps by combining text blocks, images, and buttons. Softr.io provides predefined blocks. Deviating from them can be challenging. The only alternative is to use "simple text blocks", but when combined with the predefined blocks, it is difficult to maintain consistency because they use a different approach to fonts and sizes.
