It's a relatively new product that softledger is continuing to build. There are small bugs like not being able to unlink a payment from the bank feed on the front end. But things like this are easily fixed by contacting support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Softledger has been with us every step of the way. Ensuring they understood our business needs, handholding us through the onboarding, and always available for support. We use Softledger as our integrated General Ledger system for our fintech offering across Africa. We can schedule real-time entries from our core banking system and generate reports on the fly as we scale. We have been able to include our budgets, customize our chart of accounts, and run reports on a variety of dimensions that are important to our business. SoftLedger's hierarchical "Location" system makes multi-entity accounting a breeze! You can enter all your different entities as locations, keep their individual books separate, and combine them as necessary for rolled-up reporting needs. SoftLedger is still a fairly new platform that may not have quite as many features as some other accounting softwares. But their development team is incredibly responsive to customer needs, and almost every time I've found a feature I needed missing I have reached out to them and gotten it added to the system in short order! The most important things for me was quick implementation and service on the cloud. We were on the desktop version of QuickBooks, which ran way too slow and required installation on every user's computer. It was vital for all historical data to be in the system, because our organization had over a decade's worth of transactions. Implementation took about three weeks. Bank transaction mapping could use some improvements. The improvements are on the roadmap, and the current process works well enough.
