Love how easy it is to use and how clients can approve proofs without a lot of extra expense of confusion. AI tools are nice. Reliable friendly support and most importantly, whenever we have made requests or suggestions the tech team has taken our requests seriously and integrated some great solutions. Really great!! Nice solution for a small to mid-size social media team. So happy with social champ!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much. Very rarely we have encountered a tech issue but support has always resolved it really quickly. So that's a plus. No complaints here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I used to use Buffer but I found the free tier too limited. Then I discover Social Champ which is way more generous in its free tier and have other interesting features that makes it easier to share content regularly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not having yet access to some of the functionalities from the mobile app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Social Champ has a very user friendly UI for its Android App. As I use it daily, it became a comfortable fit to use. Its pricing is very competitive, and its ability to post to two X accounts at the same time is something others cannot do. Customer service was very good and responsive. Base pricing doesn't include access to X accounts. Set up of your accounts require the use of your laptop and website and cannot be done efficiently via your Android App. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Social Camp just makes things easy. Its free plan lets you connect three social accounts. You can create one post to go on all three platforms and then tweak them individually for each channel. It's easy to add and edit photos within the platform. You get a good preview. You can schedule things, and it's easy to reschedule posts as needed. It's honestly better than a lot of more expensive platforms I've used!
They also have paid plans for those who want to get more in-depth with analytics or ad more social accounts.
I would recommend Social Champ to anyone with a small budget who wants to get started with social media automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can see a preview of your posts when you're creating them. However, I wish it were easier to see a preview AFTER you've scheduled them. Sometimes I just want to be able to quickly look at what I already have scheduled for a certain day. Not a huge complaint, though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about Social Champ is the fact that we have all our social media gathered in one place. That gives us a great overview and makes scheduling our posts very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are minor technical things we still need to figure out as a business in regards to Social Champ when scheduling posts. Such as having media listed 'recent' when posting across multiple platforms or writing URLs without making links. But that is all minor stuff we figure out along the way. It allows the user to set up a specific time of the day when the posts will be posted. After that, you can just load up a post and click on "schedule last" and you won't have to set up the time every time you want to schedule a post. So in my case, I have 18 Facebook pages with similar content being shared on them, but all at different time. With SocialChamp, I am able to schedule around 2000 posts within 1h. If I would be doing it manually, I would probably need several days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing major stands out, but I would like if in case a post doesn't get published, to automatically try again after X minutes so you don't have to schedule it again manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's very user-friendly able to add team members and approve content and does great reporting. Easy to see at a glance how different channels are performing and engage with followers easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would love to see an app for mobile to help manage on the go. Also doing stories and reels would be helpful as these I currently have to do on the actual platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Setting up our social media channels and getting acquainted with the publishing and calendar functions was very intuitive. Workflow is a breeze. Support via the Roadmap and Contact, activated by clicking the "Help" icon on the lower left of the panel pretty much got us the answers we needed. And when the answers weren't immediately available in real time, SocialChamp's support team got back to us via email within a couple of hours to guide us to a solution.
Integration with Bit.ly is seamless.
What you get for the annual subscription price is extremely economical. We have the Champion Plan — 12 social channels. It's billed monthly, not upfront for 12 months, which was a very nice surprise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The analytics are a little anemic compared to Hootsuite, which we used for many years. But then again, Social Champ is fairly new and obviously in development so we wouldn't be surprised to see improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that I can create alt texts on my client's social media posts! This feature alone is big. I also like that I can save my hashtag groups and have my clients added as members to accept or change posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that it doesn't have hashtag ranking features. I feel like if you had this feature then you'd be the PERFECT software for social media managers and influencers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
