"Later Is a Life-Saver for Scheduling and Platform-Specific Post Tweaks"
What do you like best about Later Social?

Later is a life-saver. Sometimes I have time to work on creating posts, sometimes I don't. Posting "sometimes" is a terrible social media strategy. Later lets me schedule when I can work. What do you like best about Later Social?

I like the preview function for Instagram. We are an interiors business, and the look of our Instagram grid is really important. With the preview feature, I can look at how the grid will appear and move posts around if the colors aren't working to make them fit well. What do you dislike about Later Social?

I feel like Reels aren't as good and that I can't post music to the reel, so I end up having to post reels separate to Later Social. It's quite problematic trying to remember to do that. I also feel like the location on Instagram posts isn't very good. I have to edit the post after it has gone to Instagram to add the location. The landscape view on Instagram in Later Social is a very wide view and very low, whereas I see other people posting in a nice 4:5 type ratio in landscape. I just don't see that option in Later.com. What do you like best about Later Social?

I like how Later Social keeps me consistent with my posting schedule and gives me the chance to look at my analytics to see what's performing. The updates it provides inform me on what's doing well and what's not working, which is really helpful. I also appreciate the ability to use hashtags effectively for uploading content, organizing my content pillars, and knowing which set of images belong to which hashtag without guessing. Being able to allow someone else to manage the account without needing Instagram access is a plus. What do you dislike about Later Social?

When it comes to resizing in the application, like when you select multiple networks like Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, or YouTube Shorts, they don't give you the ability to resize pictures or videos to the format you need. You have to do it on an external tool before uploading it. I wish you could crop a landscape video to 16 by 9 by just moving the frame where you want it to be, or easily crop Instagram pictures within the application, without having to use another platform. What do you like best about Later Social?

What I like best about Later Social is how easy and visual it is to use, especially for Instagram. The drag and drop calendar makes it simple to plan out content and see how everything will look together, which is really helpful when you are trying to maintain a consistent visual identity for a university account.

Linkin.bio is also a strong feature. It gives us a straightforward way to direct people from Instagram to multiple stories, announcements, and research highlights without having to constantly update the single link in our bio. That has been especially useful for sharing a range of content at once.

I also appreciate how accessible the platform is. It is easy to learn and does not take much time to get up and running, which makes it a good option for smaller teams or groups that are newer to managing social media. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Later Social?

One of the biggest challenges I have had with Later Social is customer support, especially when it comes to account access issues. I have been unable to regain access to an older Linkin.bio account tied to a previous institutional setup, despite multiple attempts to contact customer service. Because of that, an outdated Instagram Linkin.bio is still live and associated with our presence, which has been frustrating and difficult to resolve.

I have also found the reporting and analytics to be fairly limited compared to other platforms. For a large public organization like ours, we need more robust insights to measure performance and inform strategy, and Later does not always provide the level of detail we are looking for.

Managing multiple accounts at scale can also be a bit cumbersome. As our portfolio of social accounts grew, it became harder to efficiently oversee everything within Later, especially compared to platforms that are better designed for enterprise-level account management and collaboration. I also find it frustrating that there are sometimes lengthy delays in updates when social platforms change their requirements, like when TikTok began allowing longer captions and Later still restricted caption lengths. What do you like best about Later Social?

I love how easy it is to use. It's very user-friendly, making it easy to upload everything, and I can filter from photos we've used or not used. I like the AI integration, especially when I'm stuck on a caption because it gives me multiple options, which is cool. I love that I can select multiple profiles, as we have companies in two different states, so I can easily target specific content. The integration with TikTok and Instagram stories is also a great feature. I've seen improvements across the board, and it's awesome because I feel they're always improving. Managing multiple profiles is straightforward, allowing me to publish to several pages at once, rather than having to enter everything individually. What do you like best about Later Social?

I use Later Social for posting and find the scheduling feature extremely valuable since it allows me to plan posts and not worry about which day something is posted. It gives me the freedom to go on vacation without worrying about social media. A standout feature is the ability to schedule posts across different platforms, so if I prepare a post for Instagram, I can quickly reschedule it to be posted on Facebook, TikTok, or LinkedIn. It's definitely the best tool I've used for posting compared to others like Buffer, which didn't work as well for me. What do you like best about Later Social?

I like that Later Social gives you a recommended time to make your post. I really like the AI help with captioning and coming up with a social media calendar. The social media calendar and the captioning especially help when working with interns, as it can take the place of personal coaching in some cases.
