Slido is very inuitive to set up quesitons and polls. It makes trying to collect quick information from an audience very seamless and easy with live results. Slido also saves your data so you can go back and revisit your results if you need to work with this data. It offers lots of question format options and easily integrates into MS powerpoint or google slides. They also have a newer plug-in for zoom but I have yet to try it. The integration with powerpoint can be buggy at times, causing it to crash. You also have to ensure you have a stable internet connection to present, collect and display results in real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Slido is very easy to use and to implement into Power Point. You do not have to download an app and results can be shown live. Because of its usability and vast number of features, rating options, Q&A section, ..., I prefer to use Slido over other software of other providers. Personaly, I think that Slido is the best participation software on the market. It even has a free plan for smaller events, which suffices most of my use cases.
I used Slido with an audience of more than 100 participants and did not run into any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I did not notice any downsides, when using slido :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is a great add in for power point, I used it to engage my class when I needed to do a presentation. I asked a question and everyone had to answer with 1-2 word answers, and slido created a word cloud in real time. It was really neat, and added some excitement to student engagement. It was easy to create the slido, and easy for everyone to access it during the presentation using the QR code or the web address. I would definitely use slido again in future presentations. One downside about slido is with the basic (free) plan you can only use 3 slido slides per presentation. It is also not very intuitive to use, as far as adding it to your presentation, editing it, or erasing the answers so it can be reused. An interface that's easy to navigate is important to me as a person in a non-tech or marketing related field, but who has to use tech everyday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to connect and use for the participants of the workshop, no need for prior knowledge, experience, or upfront setup. The tools for facilitator are also extremely easy to use and don't require prior experience or training, which comes in very handy in situations, where there is a very limited amount of time to prepare. Not that it was something I disliked, but I had to transform one interaction on-the-fly, from Word Cloud to Open Text. It would have been excellent if the original responses would have been transferred from one to another, because the participants had to submit their responses one more time. However this was my error and I should have tested it before the workshop itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce, we recently used Slido’s word cloud feature as part of our SWOT analysis during our board’s strategic planning session, and it was a game-changer.
Slido was incredibly easy to set up and use, making it simple to engage our board members in a meaningful and interactive way. The platform allowed us to collect real-time, anonymous feedback, which encouraged honest insights and thoughtful contributions. Seeing key themes emerge visually in the word cloud helped us quickly identify our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, creating a dynamic and productive discussion.
We highly recommend Slido for any organization looking to enhance engagement and streamline collaborative brainstorming. It’s a powerful tool that truly adds value to strategic planning sessions! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One limitation of Slido is that the free version only allows up to three polls, which may be restrictive for larger planning sessions. However, the platform's ease of use and effectiveness in gathering anonymous feedback still make it a valuable tool for strategic discussions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Slido is a fantastic tool for conferences. It's incredibly easy to use and implement, making it perfect for professors and students alike. I use it every week to attract my students. Getting thier feedback is easier and they are not shy anymore to share their ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I love Slido, I do wish it had more customization options for branding, as it's nice to add a personal touch to presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It keeps students and corporate learners engaged throughout the entire presentation. It allows me to integrate real time interactions with learners, track and collect data as well as innovate what is usually boring content! I've always received great feedback for audiences and the CEO of our agency as to the effectiveness of garnering insights into the audience, getting feedback and giving non verbal speakers the opportunity to contribute. I wish it were more interesting to look at as opposed to plain beige Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Slido is intuitive and easy to use even on Day 1. A variety of poll question types are available. The polls are pushed out using a QR code or a link. The results of the polls are instant and colorful. I teach at a virtual high school. I have been starting each class with a fun poll question and this allows me to build community in my virtual class. It's easy for me to drop the link to the poll into the chat in zoom. I also used Slido with colleagues, when I wanted their oppinion on something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I asked a poll question and if students put in two words, without a space, the response went in as two separate words. Not sure if I did something wrong when I set the poll up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Slido is great for fostering interaction and engagement during presentations, creating a more dynamic and inclusive environment during workshops for group size of 40 up to 120.
It allows participants to interact seamlessly with the presenter. Love the word clouds, which allow participants to share their thoughts and opinions in real time. This feature empowers attendees to have a voice, even those who may be less comfortable speaking up in traditional settings.
The immediate feedback provided through Slido is another remarkable aspect. As a presenter, this allows me to gauge the audience's understanding, adjust the pace of the presentation, or address specific areas of interest or confusion. This flexibility ensures that the presentation remains relevant and responsive to the participants' needs, leading to a more impactful session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It took me a while to learn how to reuse the slido slides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The leaderboard and freedom to edit the quiz. The fastest finger quiz to announce the winner based on fairness. The ease of login through QR Scanner. Also, it did not pinch my pocket at all. The best part is this $25 earning opportunity via feedback :-). And the list goes on... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can give the option to add pictorials.
Give an easy-to-download or maybe share it with participants
Can add more suggestions to perform L&D sessions in the organization.
Can also be animated
Overall this is a person-specific suggestion but Slido is already doing best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Slido is very easy to set up and use. If done right, it can greatly increase the level of engagement and energy, especially in remote meetings, where you sometimes know that half of the people are doing something else on the side. The user experience for the participants is also very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sharing the link/QR code at the beginning of the meeting / the Q&A session often introduces an a bit awkward pause. A direct integration with Google Meets would be incredible! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
