## Slido Reviews
 ### 1. The Ideal Tool to Present & Interact with Students with easy Clicks, No brainer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed A. | Lecturer , Education Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido makes amazingly easy for me to share educational content with my students offering all means of interaction, all to turn any meeting very illuminating. You can share your content, ask students easily with make-for-you questions of all types, you can share data, rates; you can even test them on the spot through the facility of quizzes. Briefly, its dashboard is user-friendly as any beginner will be able to use, its intuitive functions and facilities, and above all, these features are affordable at less than 15 USD per month, which is totally less expensive than its rivals.

For the things I did not like, let me say that Slido did not offer a lot of features for free plans. Its Professional Plan is too expensive. One moe thing, the integrations. I find it less helpful to use video, I could not record the presentation, for personal records, which is strange.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

That its is too expensive for enterprises and education institutions. I still need, as an educator, the inclusion of LMS integrations to make it private, protected and mainly recorded for later uses.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

interacting with audience when presenting content. It makes easy to conduct surveys, to ask students multiple choice questions, to show data, and mainly to test them on the spot.

 ### 2. Seamless QR Code Icebreakers with Live Visual Metrics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shoaib S. | People and Culture Officer, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

It’s a great way to incorporate an icebreaker into a meeting or training session. It’s interactive and very seamless to join and participate in. Once it’s set up, every participant can join simply by scanning a QR code; it works quickly and doesn’t require much technical ability. It also pairs well with PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Microsoft Teams. The standout feature for me is the real-time visual metrics you can see live as people join and cast their votes or answers.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The pricing plans are a bit on the higher side if you only intend to use it periodically. The Basic Plan does offer some flexibility for customization, but if you’re concerned about maintaining your own company branding, it can feel a bit limiting.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping the team engaged during our monthly meetings, which can get a bit dull and boring, is much easier when I throw in an interactive poll using slido. It helps elevate the mood, especially for people who are mostly just listening.

 ### 3. Easy Interactive Polls and Q&A, but Limited Compliance Controls and Deep Analytics

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arkajit D. | Chief Technology Officer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The best thing about Slido is how easily it makes a passive experience an interactive one. With live polls, Q&A session, quizzes, and word clouds, participation becomes easier than ever for users in any scenario, be it a meeting, a training session, or a bigger event. It ensures high participation rates when there may be reluctance to participate.

An important advantage offered by Slido is the simplicity of use and integration with various tools such as PowerPoint and Webex. Interactions can be set up quickly, and the participants need not download anything before using it, which takes away the burden from them.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The first weakness of Slido lies in the fact that whereas it offers a good solution for basic engagement, it might be too constrained when applied to regulated areas like healthtech or fintech. In particular, while organizing some sessions related to patient or finance operations, there might be the necessity to implement a more sophisticated mechanism of data management, control over the anonymity settings, and other compliance features.

Another weak point associated with the tool is connected to its flexibility and level of analysis. Indeed, although it is rather user-friendly in terms of polls and Q&A, it becomes too constrictive when using Slido for some specific purposes. For example, the analytics are helpful on the whole, but lack the required level of detail that would allow analyzing the participants' behavior.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido addresses a major challenge associated with low levels of engagement and lack of feedback when it is essential to ensure active participation. Healthtech and fintech companies need to conduct training sessions, briefings on compliance measures, or product demonstrations. Although the participants usually pay attention to what is being said, they do not interact actively. The Slido tool facilitates interaction by means of polls, questions and answers, and anonymous feedback, allowing the users to communicate their opinion freely, even when they are addressing sensitive matters.

The main advantage of Slido lies in facilitating interaction and providing valuable feedback. We can easily assess participants' comprehension in training sessions (regulatory updates, workflow modifications, etc.). Furthermore, we can receive additional comments that would have remained unanswered under ordinary circumstances. In general, Slido helps us turn monologues into dialogues, resulting in improved comprehension and informed decisions.

 ### 4. Super easy to use, highly recommended for quiz, competitions & L&D's.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jyoti D. | Head of People Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I really like Slido's enhanced integration with platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, making engagement during virtual events easier. The improved analytics dashboard provides valuable insights into audience participation, and the expanded custom branding options allow for a more professional look. Additionally, the new interactive polls and quizzes make participation more fun. Overall, these updates significantly enhance the experience for both organizers and attendees!

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Slido is effective but can improve by enhancing customization, expanding integrations, and offering better analytics. Adding offline functionality, improving the mobile experience, and including gamification would increase participation. Better multi-language support and more poll options could also boost engagement. These changes could significantly enhance Slido.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Engagement became super easy.
Gave good and quick impression to all members.
Super easy to edit and prepare quiz
Leader board made it easy to announce winner
AI made it easy to provide us with readymade quiz
Can be used for multiple purpose.

**Official Response from Juraj Jonek:**

> Thank you very much for your review, we really appreciate it. It’s great to see you have so many ideas on how to make Slido even better. We’re currently working on several improvements to our live polling experience, which we’ll be rolling out soon to help drive even stronger engagement.

 ### 5. Empowers Interactive Presentations with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdullah H. | CEO, Program Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I like using Slido because it creates a sort of interactivity with the audience that everyone loves and appreciates. It gives me insight directly about what the audience understands and thinks. The interactivity part is really amazing, allowing me to create a baseline understanding by making the audience vote throughout the presentation, and the results showing up on the slides are impressive. I find the setup really easy, as I can install the add-ons in PowerPoint, connect it with my browser and account seamlessly, and see templates and voting results in my slides directly. It's been an amazing experience, and the audience loves it.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I would really like to see Slido in Canva, and their pricing model need to be adjusted. In addition to that, I want them to be like Quizlet or something like that to maybe enable some quizzes, not only voting or interaction. I maybe want them to have a quiz inside my PowerPoint and to share them the results and the correct answers after the lecture has ended to their emails.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slido to create interactivity with the audience during my presentations, helping them engage and appreciate the creativity of the session. It provides direct insights into audience understanding and opinions, enhancing the interactive experience.

 ### 6. Effortless Results with an Excellent UI allows Presentations with Real-Time feedback using a QR code

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro L. | Research Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Very easy to achieve good results with very little effort. The User Interface is excellent and clearly shows the various types of interactions available. The presentation mode with QR code really works in real time with an audience using mobile phones. I really appreciate that the Free mode does actually work with a larger audience as it allows to test real functionality. This also separates Slido from the competition.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

It could provide more options to display results, e.g. pie charts, donut charts. It would be nice to have integration with other Office suites such as OpenOffice/LibreOffice

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows to create interactive quizzes and create more dynamic presentations. It also allows to collect direct data during the presentations.

 ### 7. Standout Q&A Upvoting and Moderation, with a Clean Mobile Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle S. | Student Event Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The Q&A upvoting and moderation queue is the standout feature for us. It lets employees ask sensitive questions anonymously while preventing the loudest voice from dominating the town hall. I also appreciate how clean the participant view looks on mobile devices.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The analytics export is fairly basic and requires manual cleanup in Excel before sharing with leadership. I also find the user limit on the lower tier plans gets restrictive during company-wide meetings. The event link tends to expire too quickly for those catching up on recordings.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of silent audiences and post-meeting email clutter by capturing questions in real time during the session. The anonymity option has significantly increased honest feedback from junior staff on sensitive topics. It also eliminates the need for me to manually tally dozens of Post-it notes after workshops.

 ### 8. Engaging Classroom That Work Great with Google Slides

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sid B. | Director of Digital Learning, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

In the teaching profession, I find Slido has useful features, such as the whole-class quiz, which gives instant responses back to a group of students. I have used four of the available features, including the word cloud, and this was particularly effective in junior classes. In summary, I have tried 4 different features in my classroom (Google Slides) almost works seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Slido is a simple-to-use add-on for Google Slides. However, at times when I change a question or make a modification, such as updating a Q&A. At times, the change doesn’t reflect during the presentation. The workaround is to remove the question and recreate it, which usually solves the issue, but it would be great if this could be improved.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an educator, I often present to large audiences or groups of students and try to make sessions as interactive as possible. With Slido, students stay engaged and are less likely to get distracted by things like mobile phones or talking with each other; instead, they focus on the screen and try to answer the questions. It also kind of gamifies the experience when the teacher adds time limits, which makes it even more interesting.

**Official Response from Juraj Jonek:**

> Thank you very much for your review, we really appreciate it. If you experience any issues updating slides while using the Google Slides add-on, please submit a bug report at https://www.slido.com/contact so our team could investigate it.

If you have any additional feedback for Slido, feel free to share your ideas in our Wishlist: https://community.slido.com/ideas . Our team regularly reviews submissions there when deciding what to build next.

 ### 9. Slido Makes Audience Engagement Effortless with Intuitive Polls and Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hidayatullah . | Business Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is easy to use and effective at increasing audience engagement during meetings, webinars, and events. Features such as live polls, Q&A, and word clouds run smoothly and feel very intuitive, even for first-time users. I also find the integration with tools like PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Microsoft Teams especially convenient, making it simple to use in professional settings.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Some of the more advanced features are only available on higher-tier plans, which can feel limiting for smaller teams. Also, the customization options for visuals and branding could be broadened so it’s easier to align the look and feel with corporate presentation styles.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido addresses the challenge of low audience participation by enabling real-time interaction and anonymous feedback. It makes it easy to collect insights quickly, keeps participants engaged throughout, and helps meetings feel more dynamic, inclusive, and interactive.

 ### 10. Keeps Large Audiences Engaged and Involved

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maureen R. | Founder, CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I love using it with larger audiences; you can really get a good feel of who is in the crowd, and I love that it keeps them involved and engaged.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I have to remember to clear out the past audience answers before running the program again. I did a test run and forgot to clear out the slides so there was something in there which was embarrasing. LOL!

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me sell additional services to an audience because I can see what the need is for that audience.

 ### 11. Slido Empowers Shy Audiences to Ask Questions Freely

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Renato V. | Independent consultant in economics, sustainability, monitoring & evaluation, data analysis, and GIS, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I like that its questions feature encourages participation from audiences that are typically shy. We have been running our natural capital community of practice seminars for a few years on Zoom and even when a fair amount of people join in, there is never anyone brave to go on live and ask questions. Last time we used Slido and the questions kept coming in. It turns out, people just wanted someone else to ask the questions for them and Slido empowered them to ask freely.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

No downsides that I can think of. It did its job fine.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Participant interaction with our community of practice.

**Official Response from Juraj Jonek:**

> Thank you very much for your review. We are excited that you could see a difference when you switched to Slido Q&A.

If you have any additional feedback for Slido, feel free to share your ideas in our Wishlist: https://community.slido.com/ideas . Our team regularly reviews submissions there when deciding what to build next.

 ### 12. Interactive Meetings with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shyma S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I use Slido to make meetings and presentations more interactive. It helps me run live polls, collect questions (even anonymously), and get instant feedback from the audience. It's simple, engaging, and makes sessions feel more organized and professional. What I like most about Slido is the live polling and anonymous Q&A feature. It makes it easy for everyone to participate, even those who are shy, and gives instant feedback that keeps meetings and presentations engaging and interactive. I also appreciate how it integrates smoothly with presentation tools like Microsoft PowerPoint and meeting platforms like Zoom, making live sessions more interactive without interrupting the flow. We switched to Slido from another tool because it integrates better with our presentation tools, feels more intuitive for live Q&A, and was more cost-effective for our team. It was very easy to set up; we set everything up quickly, and the team picked it up right away without much training. It's been reliable, easy to use, and works really well for our events.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I think the free version has some limitations, especially with advanced features and participant limits. Sometimes customization options for polls and layouts could be more flexible. I'd like more poll types, better customization for colors and layouts, and more detailed analytics. It would also be great if some advanced features were available in lower plans.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slido to make meetings interactive, solving low engagement by collecting questions, running live polls, and getting instant feedback, which makes sessions productive.

 ### 13. Easy Live Survey Setup with Seamless PowerPoint Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer F. | Clinical Director/Clinical Psychologist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

It was very easy to set up the live survey and it integrated well with Microsoft Power Point. I did not have any technical issues the day of my presentation and the live results made my talk interactive and fun for the audience.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I can not think of anything I disliked about Slido.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have only used it once so far, so I can't provide a nuanced response to this questions. But, I do see myself using it more frequently as I present more.

 ### 14. Easy PowerPoint Integration with Flexible Slide Editing on Web or PP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela d. | Education advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Really liked how easy it was to use and to integrate into PowerPoint. I liked how you can manage and amend each slide from either PP or the webiste.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

There wasn't very much I disliked. It took me a minute to figure out what I was doing but once I had understood this, it was very easy

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I give training talks virtually and it has enabled theses sessions to be more interactive. A difficult thing to do when you have a classroom full of students, none of which are near the microphone!

**Official Response from Juraj Jonek:**

> Thank you very much for your review, we really appreciate it. If you have any additional feedback for Slido, feel free to share your ideas in our Wishlist: https://community.slido.com/ideas . Our team regularly reviews submissions there when deciding what to build next.

 ### 15. Slido Brings Great Interactivity to Every Presentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonya S. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I love that Slido adds great interactivity to my presentations, whether they’re online or face-to-face.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

So far, I haven’t run into any issues with Slido. The only drawback I’ve noticed is that you need to upgrade to a higher plan if you want to add your logo to the slides.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido makes presentations more engaging by adding interactivity and polling, which helps keep things fun and encourages participation.

 ### 16. Goodbye Awkward Silences, Hello Real Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** K.C. S. | System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is a fantastic tool for making presentations feel like a real conversation instead of a one-way lecture. What stands out most to me is the anonymous Q&A, which really levels the playing field and gives even the quietest people in the room a comfortable way to ask thoughtful, insightful questions without feeling any pressure.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The PowerPoint integration feels incredibly clunky. It often lags or even crashes at the worst possible moment—right when I’m trying to build momentum during a live presentation. I also find the pricing structure for the “Pro” features pretty stingy, since it puts basic necessities like data exports behind a paywall that feels more like a ransom than a fair upgrade.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly, Slido is a lifesaver for anyone who’s ever felt that cringe-worthy tension during a dead Q&A session, or who’s struggled to get a straight answer from a distracted crowd. It takes away the social anxiety of having to raise your hand, and it makes meetings feel less like a boring lecture and more like a real, two-way conversation—one where people actually feel comfortable speaking up and being honest.

 ### 17. Seamless Integrations and Effortless Poll Management at Scale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marouan O. | Senior Technical Leader & Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Integration with other apps, ease of joining a session, and multiple choices of polls, ease of managing a very big session of polls with high efficiency

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I’ve been using it for around two years, and I haven’t noticed any downsides.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team collective decisions.

 ### 18. Keeping Online and In Person Audiences Engaged

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

What I appreciate most about Slido is its ability to engage both in-person and online audiences so effectively. It really helped close the gap between these two formats, ensuring everyone had an equal chance to participate and ask questions. I found Slido straightforward to learn, easy to navigate, and simple to integrate into my presentation. The fact that I could use it for free was an added bonus. Making use of the Q&A and quiz features kept both the audience and myself, as the presenter, actively involved throughout the session, which made delivering training more interactive and enjoyable.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Honestly, I can't think of any drawbacks. It was extremely easy to use and integrate.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido addresses the challenge of engaging diverse audiences, especially when conducting training sessions for both in-person and online participants simultaneously. Without a tool like Slido, it can be hard to ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to contribute, to manage questions smoothly, and to maintain high energy levels in both settings.

By offering an easy way for participants to submit questions, join polls, and participate in quizzes in real time, Slido breaks down the barriers that often limit online engagement and also helps in-person attendees feel more comfortable joining in. This results in a more inclusive and balanced experience for everyone involved.

As a presenter, I found that Slido allowed me to keep the session interactive without disrupting the flow of my presentation. The Q&A feature made it simple to organise questions, while the quiz function enabled me to quickly assess understanding and keep the group interested. Overall, Slido made delivering training sessions more dynamic, manageable, and effective for both the audience and myself.

 ### 19. Real-time updatign view and controls for collaboration is splendid!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akhil P. | Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Collaborator feature is a live saver – I was controlling from a different laptop! The fact that I can change the same question and it updates realtime is amazing!

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

When showcasing on a projector screen connected to the laptop – the entire screen was visible. Can I open slido in a separate Desktop screen altogether – so that I can manage the voting in the same laptop just on a different screen than the one being presented?

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great for event ineraction and engagement.

 ### 20. Successful Community Engagement Event

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deborah S. | Community Engagement Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Every part of the system was easy to use, the help center was spot on and answered all questions quickly and efficiently. The integration with Google Slides was seamless. We used polls, and live Q&A for an in-person event and the community LOVED it and everyone old to young was able to participate with their smart phones. I only used it once, but will be coming back again to use it again. Loved the option to buy for a "one time" use of the upgraded features. The data export is also perfect.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

My ONLY tiny issue was that it took me a few tries to get the Google Slide extension to download, but I think that was a user error.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Community connection! Made it easy to hear from a lot of people in a short time and get instant feedback that others can see.

 ### 21. An amazing tool adding interactive touch to your presentations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yash P. | Manager-VAPT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The Live Polls and Q&A features are excellent for running quizzes, allowing the audience to interact with the presentation in real time and making it easier to keep everyone engaged. Incorporating these interactive elements into slides is straightforward—just a single click from the slido extension bar, making the process very simple. This tool has quickly become one of my favorites for presentations, and since I usually deliver at least one presentation each month, it has definitely been my preferred tool to integrate with PowerPoint so far.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I'm not sure if this issue is unique to me or if others are experiencing it as well, but I haven't been able to properly integrate Slido with Google Slides. On the other hand, integration with PowerPoint was quite seamless for me. Another area for improvement is the AI Quiz feature. Currently, you can type in a topic and it generates five quiz questions, which is helpful. However, it would be even better if the tool could analyze the content of the presentation itself and generate quiz questions based on that material. That would make the feature much more useful.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being technical person I want my team to stay updated about the latest trends in digital world for which I use presentations ofcourse. But as we all know they're too boring but slido makes it engaging and connects me with the audience on an individual level so since I've integrated slido features in my slides I've noticed better responses from the audience. And I'd like to mention that since I've been not using the premium version of slido I haven't needed to communicate with the support yet so no comments on that.

 ### 22. Slido Makes Teaching More Interactive and Inclusive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I have found Slido to be a really effective tool for increasing participation and engagement in teaching and training. It is very easy for students to access as they simply join with a code or QR link, which removes a lot of the usual barriers to using digital tools in the classroom.

What I particularly like is how it gives everyone a voice. The anonymous responses mean that students who might normally stay quiet feel much more comfortable contributing, which often leads to more honest answers and richer discussion. It also allows me to quickly see what students are thinking or whether they have understood a concept, so I can adapt the session in the moment.

Overall, Slido is simple to use, highly interactive and a very effective way of making learning more participative and inclusive.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

There are no downsides - it is quick and easy to use and provides engagement in class. I would like more choice of activities. I would also like to be able to ask more that one question on each slide.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido helps solve one of the common problems in teaching and training, which is low participation from students. In many sessions the same few people tend to speak while others remain quiet, often because they feel unsure about sharing their views in front of the group. Slido allows students to respond anonymously through polls, questions and word clouds, which makes it much easier for everyone to contribute.

It also solves the problem of not knowing what students are thinking or whether they have understood something. By using quick polls or asking questions during the session, I can immediately see how the group is responding and adapt my teaching if needed.

For me, the main benefit is that it makes sessions much more interactive and inclusive. More students take part, discussions become richer and I get instant feedback about learning rather than waiting until the end of a lesson or an assignment.

 ### 23. Boosts Audience Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cara N. | Program Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

It makes the audience feel included and more engaged

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Nothing really, I used the free version which obviously is less customisable but it was excellent

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

enabling the audience to be interactive is a huge benefit.

 ### 24. Great UX makes creating and previewing mobile-friendly polls easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vyacheslav L. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Great UX! It's easy to create/update polls and see what they will look like on a mobile phone in the same window.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Integration apart from pre-defined apps, is not possible. I started to use presentation-as-code more and more recently, instead of Google Slides, but I didn't find a way how I can integrate slido in e.g. slidev presentation

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Engaging presentations and interaction with the audience are a must-have nowadays. Slido helps easily achieve it

 ### 25. User Friendly & Intuitive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lana S. | Regulatory Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

It is very easy to navigate around the product. Very easy for someone who is not a tech savvy person to create a poll and to make use of the tool. Some of the features are more user-friendly than other tools I have used before. E.g., you can control the active poll one poll at a time depending of which one you wanted to use and multiple polls can be created under 1 project title / room / canvas. Very easy and I prefer that a lot. Also, there is no limit (or the limit is very high) to insert a number of options for the poll itself. Also, it is very easy for the poll participants to join in and interact with the poll w/o the need to sign in / other complicated way to join in, always a plus.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

2 things to improve maybe:

1- I couldn't get to the point where you can restrict the minimum number for a participant to pick (a minimum number they must fulfill / select from the options) to allow them to submit an entry but only a max number. I think that option would be useful - if it is not there yet, or if there is, not quite intuitive that I couldn't find it.

2- The aesthetics could be improved I think - it will be much aesthetically pleasing for presentations.

That's all. Thank you.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to use for presentation - not much limitations.

 ### 26. Fast Setup, Great for Event Feedback

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David P. | Senior Marketing Technology Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I love how fast it is to make an event using Slido. The ease with which I can create events is truly valuable, saving me significant time and doesn't make adding a Slido ever a burden. Additionally, the feature set of Slido aligns perfectly with my needs, ensuring I do not feel like I am missing any features. I greatly appreciate its comprehensive functionality, which enhances the efficiency and quality of my events, whether virtual or in-person. Slido's initial setup was very easy, which minimized the time and effort needed to incorporate it into my workflow, facilitating a smooth and hassle-free onboarding experience.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I don't like Slido's limited page branding options. It would be more beneficial if there were features to save and reuse branding for pages, which would enhance usability and consistency for events.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slido to collect feedback, questions, and polls smoothly from both virtual and in-person events, boosting event interaction and preparation. It’s quick to set up, aligning perfectly with my needs without any missing features.

 ### 27. Slido Revolutionized Our Town Hall Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark D. | President and CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido had fully transformed our company's Town Hall meetings where everyone is much more engaged

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Previously, if you forgot to close a Slido interaction, such as a presentation, and then started a new one with similar features like a quiz, the results from the earlier session would carry over. This made it challenging to determine who the actual leader or first place finisher was in the new quiz.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee engagement is enhanced by providing a platform where individuals can ask questions anonymously. This approach ensures that everyone has a voice and can share their thoughts or concerns without fear, fostering a more open and inclusive environment.

 ### 28. A Simple, Effective Tool for Real-Time Audience Engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is extremely easy to use and simple to implement, even for first-time users. I appreciate how quickly I can set up polls, Q&A sessions, or word clouds without any technical steps. The platform offers a solid range of features while still feeling intuitive, and it integrates smoothly with tools like PowerPoint and Zoom, which makes it easy to use during live sessions. We use Slido frequently because it consistently improves participant engagement, and whenever support is needed, the customer service team is responsive and helpful. Overall, it provides a reliable, user-friendly experience with enough features to meet a variety of engagement needs.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

While Slido is very useful overall, some features can feel limited without upgrading to higher-tier plans, especially when working with larger groups or more complex events.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido helps make meetings and presentations more interactive by giving participants an easy way to ask questions, share feedback, and engage in real time. It removes the barrier of having to speak up, which encourages more honest input and higher participation. The live polls and Q&A features help us quickly gather insights, check understanding, and keep audiences engaged. Overall, Slido streamlines communication, improves engagement, and makes our sessions more productive and inclusive.

 ### 29. Intuitive and Engaging, Limited Free Version

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mirka V.

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I really appreciate Slido for making interactive presentations more engaging and dynamic. It provides a new and faster way to collect audience responses compared to traditional methods like writing papers. I love that I can see results instantly on the screen, which adds an element of excitement and immediacy to the presentations. The option for anonymous responses is a standout feature for me because it encourages participation from those who might not engage in other settings, creating a more inclusive environment. Additionally, I find the setup process to be very intuitive, which means I can get started quickly without much hassle. I also enjoy using Slido alongside Microsoft PowerPoint, as it integrates well to enhance my presentation experiences.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

I don't like that the free version of Slido only allows for 3 slides.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slido for interactive presentations, which helps in collecting audience responses and boosts engagement by displaying instant results and allowing anonymous answers.

 ### 30. Capture Workshop Sentiments Anonymously

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madhavi J. | Senior OD Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Ease of Use
Slido's word cloud feature is remarkably intuitive. Participants can quickly respond with just one or two words without needing any technical setup or training. The anonymous submission format removes barriers to participation, allowing people to share authentic responses without hesitation.

Impact on Workshop Sessions
The tool significantly enhanced our session by creating psychological safety around sentiment sharing. Key impacts include:

Honest Participation: Anonymous responses encouraged people to express genuine feelings they might otherwise keep private. The word cloud captured a full range of sentiments—from "Grateful" and "Hopeful" to "Overwhelmed" and "Uncertain"—that wouldn't have emerged in a traditional go-around-the-room discussion.

Visibility & Validation: Seeing sentiments visualized in the word cloud immediately normalized the diversity of emotions across the team. When words like "Anxious," "Supportive," and "Optimistic" appeared together, it validated that multiple perspectives and feelings were present and acceptable.

Efficient Data Collection: Gathering 70 responses from 38 participants in real time would have taken significantly longer using traditional methods, and would likely have been less candid.

Engagement: The novelty and anonymity of the format kept participation high and authentic.

Bottom Line
For facilitating honest, inclusive feedback in workshops or change management contexts, Slido's word cloud poll is an excellent tool. It's easy to set up, participants engage readily, and the visual output immediately surfaced actionable insights about team sentiment.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Wish it would integrate more easily with PowerPoint

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capturing emotions around a change anonymously

 ### 31. Intuitive Platform with Impressive Engagement and Integration Options

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian C. | Manager External Engagement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The platform is intuitive for building engagement, offering a wide range of options and integration capabilities. Can quickly and easily add additional engagement during sessions.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

Most of the challenges stem from our internal IT security measures, which block integration on my work computer. However, I have been able to use it on my personal device. However, on work device, switching between the presentation, videos, and Slido is manageable, especially when conducting more spontaneous activities that do not integrate as seamlessly.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasing engagement and interactivity in sessions, capturing feedback, providing a measure of engagement, increasing success of sessions and simple moderation and management of Q&A sessions

 ### 32. Excellent piece of software / service that allows for adding easy interaction into presentations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pawel K. | Lecturer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

The application allows for very simple and intuitive addition of different types of interactions to presentations. Personally, I have used Google Slides. The onboarding process for meeting participants is very easy and reliable – via a QR code.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

The customization of slides with quizzes or polls could be improved. I also think that the app’s pricing model could be a bit more attractive. Personally, I give presentations 2–3 times a year, and in this situation, purchasing an annual license is somewhat expensive.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The application makes it possible to capture the audience’s interest, check their knowledge, and even… entertain them. In the environment I work in, this is not yet a widespread practice, so using Slido gives me significant added value and an advantage over other speakers. As a result, my presentations are surprising and engaging.

 ### 33. Easy to Use and Great for Tracking Questions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

It is easy to use. Track back the questions.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

There is no link to a page with questions at the end of the seminar.
I added the one i had but i have to log into my account. Which i couldn't because the PC i was presenting was not mine and i didn't have time to put my google credentials there.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have hearing losss and it makes my life easier to understand people speaking low.
Then it allows shy people ask. And it motivates people to ask more.

 ### 34. Optimized Efficiency with Slido, Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camille L. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Slido?**

I like that there are several tiers that do not necessarily require a subscription, and yet, the number of available options is more than sufficient. The platform is really very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

It's really more of a whim, but the freemium version could perhaps offer some small customization options to make the other subscription plans even more appealing.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido allows me to be more original in my client presentations and improves my efficiency. The tool is simple to use.

Its user-friendly interface, combined with powerful features, ensures that both presenters and participants have a rewarding experience. Whether you're a teacher, corporate trainer, or event organizer, Slido is a must-have tool to enhance audience engagement and make your sessions stand out.

1. Participant Tech Challenges
Although it’s user-friendly, some participants may face difficulties navigating the platform, especially older or less tech-savvy individuals.

The free version has restrictions on the number of participants and features available, which might not be sufficient for larger events or advanced needs.

 ### 39. Perfectly Designed Software--So Easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Slido?**

Slido is super easy to use and requires virtually no instructions. The slides step you through. There are many types of quizzes and polls. You can also customize with logos or other graphics. The very best thing about Slido is that it requires NO accounts, sign ups, email verifications--nothing--from the audience. Just snap the QR code or go to slido.com and type in the number on the screen--and you're instantly in the quiz. It worked perfectly, and the audience loved the interaction! It's a perfect tool for teaching, as it's not just about delivering information--you must also find out if the audience understands. What better way than to check their understanding on the spot?

I've used *other brands* of similar software, but they were a little awkward to use and required the audience to sign up with an account. That severely slowed things down. But Slido is a perfectly designed software, and I don't know how they could make it any simpler. I did a "one-time" use for a weekend presentation, but you can set up your slides, experiment, and practice as much as you want. As I was setting up the slides, I remember thinking, "Someone really did a beautiful job designing this! It's way too easy." With almost all products or software, there things you immediately notice that are missing or that would be nice to have. I never felt that with Slido.

I also had a small billing issue where I was practicing on an account, but when I decided I liked it an paid, it was for a new account. Rather than re-creating all the quizzes, I emailed customer support (on a weekend) and they switched the payment to the original account within 15 minutes. Slido will be a permanent part of future presentations.

If you do any kind of training, teaching, or anything the helps with audience interaction, try Slido. You won't be disappointed!

**What do you dislike about Slido?**

There was nothing to dislike. I suppose you can always make an argument about price for anything, but once you see how easy it is to use--and the perceived value by the audience--it's well worth the money.

**What problems is Slido solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slido allows you to get instant feedback from the audience to see if they understand. If you ask for a show of hands, people are either afraid and don't participate, or they join in with the most popular answers (group think). With Slido, answers are anonymous, so there's no reason to not answer truthfully. You get immediate--and accurate--information about the audience's understanding.

I have also found the staff and support to be very responsive, every time I have reached out to customer support.
