## Mentimeter Reviews
 ### 1. very useful for Interactive Presentations, Surveys and Audience Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create online health education content, webinar presentations and awareness posts for social media. what I like best about Mentimeter is that it makes my presentations more interactive and not boring like normal slides. I use polls, word clouds, Q&A, scales and multiple choice questions during health awareness webinars and online sessions. It helps me understand audience thinking and keeps people more active during presentation. This is very useful while discussing healthy lifestyle, diet habits and wellness topics. i also use it for surveys and live audience feedback during health awareness webinars and educational presentations. It helps me understand audience participation, opinions, and common health related concerns more clearly during interactive sessions.

the platform is easy to use and creating slides does not feel confusing. Adding questions, polls and interactive sections is simple even when working fast. Participants can also join quickly and give responses without much problem. I also like the number of features because it helps in different types of educational sessions and webinar discussions. Sometimes I use it for audience feedback, sometimes for live interaction during awareness presentations.

Performance is good during normal use and responses appear quickly while session is running. Interface looks clean and organized so managing presentation content becomes easier.Overall, Mentimeter has been really useful for making health education presentations more engaging, interactive and easy to manage during webinar and awareness related work.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

presentations start having many interactive slides together, managing the overall flow can take little extra adjustment during live sessions. For webinar style presentations with polls, surveys, Q&A and word clouds on multiple slides, sometimes I need to double check the sequence before starting the session. customization and layout controls feel slightly limited when trying to match presentation visuals with existing educational content or branding style. The platform looks clean, but sometimes I want little more flexibility in arranging interactive elements on slides.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

mentimeter is helping solve the problem of low audience interaction during online health education sessions and webinar presentations. In normal presentations many people only watch slides quietly, but with polls, surveys, Q&A, word clouds and live responses, sessions become more interactive and people participate more actively. It helps me understand audience opinions, health habits, feedback, and common questions in real time during awareness presentations and webinar discussions. This makes educational sessions feel more engaging instead of one sided communication.

The platform also helps organize interactive presentation content more properly from one place. I can manage surveys, audience responses, quizzes, and presentation slides together without using multiple tools separately. overall, it helps make health education presentations more engaging, improves audience participation, and makes online webinar sessions more interactive and easier to manage.

 ### 5. Easy, comfortqble and dependable program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Minh Xay G. | Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

What I like best about **Mentimeter** is how interactive and engaging it makes presentations. It's a great tool for real-time audience feedback, with features like live polls, word clouds, and quizzes. This helps keep people involved and encourages participation.

The most helpful aspects include its **ease of use**, the ability to instantly gather insights from your audience, and the wide variety of question types that can make any session more dynamic. The **upsides** are that it boosts engagement, makes virtual or hybrid meetings more interactive, and provides instant data analysis, making it perfect for both educational and corporate settings.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

The main downsides of Mentimeter are the limitations in the free version, limited customization/design options, and reliance on a stable internet connection. It can also disrupt presentation flow if too much time is spent waiting for responses, and advanced features require a paid plan.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter solves the problem of **low audience engagement and limited feedback** during presentations, meetings, and workshops. It benefits me by making sessions more interactive, encouraging participation from everyone (even quieter participants), and providing instant insights through live results. From a business perspective, it helps improve communication, collect real-time feedback, support better decision-making, and make meetings and trainings more effective and engaging.

 ### 6. Transforms Presentations with Interactive Engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aswin Edward P. | Program Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

Mentimeter is an excellent tool because it transforms traditional presentations into interactive experiences. It allows real-time audience participation through polls, quizzes, and word clouds, making sessions more engaging and dynamic. Its user-friendly interface ensures that both presenters and participants can use it effortlessly, while features like anonymous responses encourage honest feedback.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

Mentimeter, while highly effective for engagement, does have some limitations that users may find challenging. The free version offers only a limited number of slides and question types, which can restrict flexibility for larger or more complex presentations. Since it is entirely cloud-based, a stable internet connection is essential for both presenters and participants, making it less reliable in areas with poor connectivity. Customization options for branding and design are somewhat limited compared to other tools, and while basic features are easy to use, mastering advanced analytics and integrations can require extra effort.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter solves several key problems that team leaders often face during meetings and presentations. One major challenge is low engagement, traditional presentations can feel one-sided, leaving participants passive and disconnected. Mentimeter addresses this by enabling real-time interaction through polls, quizzes, and word clouds, which keeps everyone actively involved. It also tackles the issue of lack of honest feedback, as its anonymous response feature encourages team members to share their thoughts openly without fear of judgment. Additionally, it helps overcome difficulty in gauging understanding, providing instant insights and analytics so leaders can adapt discussions on the spot.

 ### 7. Flexible tool for greater engagement and active participation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harsha K. | Lecturer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I really like the level of engagement Mentimeter creates in sessions. The variety of question types makes activities more interactive, and I especially enjoy using Menti quizzes to keep students actively involved and motivated.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

One thing I would love to have is the ability to choose multiple correct answers in quizzes, along with a bit more flexibility in slide formatting to better suit different teaching styles and content needs.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter helps solve the challenge of student engagement in class by making sessions more interactive. It also allows me to quickly check whether students have understood key concepts, while introducing a healthy sense of competition among students that keeps them motivated and involved.

 ### 8. Stop presenting. Start connecting with Mentimeter.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kamel O. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

Mentimeter breaks the monotony of traditional presentations. Instead of just talking at people, you can hear from them—instantly and anonymously—turning a lecture into a real conversation.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

The least helpful aspect of the Mentimeter free plan is its strict participant limit, which is capped at 50 participants per month besides this the inability to export or download participant responses in a usable format is a major drawback for anyone needing to analyze data after a session. Revising the feature set for the free tier would greatly increase its value.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter was built to fix a simple but universal problem: the dead-end monologue. In classrooms and boardrooms everywhere, information gets dumped on an audience with no way to know if it's landing. This tool flips the script, transforming passive listeners into active participants and turning presentations into real conversations.

 ### 9. Effortless Audience Engagement and Seamless Presentations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mija L. | Educator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I like that Mentimeter makes audience interaction feel effortless, even with groups that are normally quiet or hesitant. The live results update quickly and smoothly, which helps keep people engaged without derailing the flow of a presentation. I also appreciate how little setup it requires—most of the time I can build a poll or word cloud in a few minutes and trust it will work without glitches. The design templates look clean by default, so I rarely have to spend time adjusting formatting. Another small but helpful detail is that participants don’t need to create accounts or jump through extra steps; they just enter the code and respond. Overall, it’s one of the few tools that consistently improves the energy in meetings rather than adding friction.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

The biggest drawback for me is the limited customization once you want to go beyond the default templates. It’s great for simple polls, but if you want more control over layout, transitions, or branding, the options feel a bit constrained. I’ve also noticed that switching between slides with heavy animations or large word clouds can lag on older devices. Another minor frustration is that advanced features are spread across different pricing tiers, so it can be hard to know which plan actually fits your needs until you’ve used it for a while. Finally, exporting results works, but the formatting sometimes needs cleanup before sharing with stakeholders. None of these are deal-breakers, but they’re things I’ve had to work around.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter has been invaluable in helping me address one of the main challenges I face during presentations: encouraging genuine participation rather than having attendees remain passive. In groups where not everyone is familiar with each other, discussions often lose momentum or end up dominated by just a few voices. With Mentimeter, everyone is given an easy, low-pressure way to share their thoughts, which leads to a more representative understanding of the group’s perspectives.

Another advantage is how it streamlines the process of gathering feedback. I can conduct polls, collect questions, and display opinions all within the same presentation, eliminating the need to switch between different tools. This keeps the session running efficiently. The feedback I receive is instant and much simpler to review later, which saves me time on follow-up tasks and allows me to better adapt future sessions to the group’s actual needs.

 ### 10. Effortless Audience Engagement with Mentimeter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Runar L. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

Mentimeter makes it much easier to engage audiences during presentations. It enables participants to give immediate feedback or responses in an enjoyable and interactive manner. The platform is highly user-friendly, so creating polls, quizzes, and surveys is straightforward and doesn’t require any technical expertise. I find it particularly useful for workshops, lectures, and team meetings, as it helps presenters maintain audience engagement and encourages active participation.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

While Mentimeter is a great tool overall, some of its advanced features—like detailed analytics or custom branding—are only available on higher-tier paid plans, which might be limiting for smaller teams or educators. Additionally, it requires a stable internet connection for both presenters and participants, which can sometimes be a challenge in certain environments.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter significantly enhances presentations and surveys by making them much more interactive and engaging. Rather than depending on passive slides or one-way communication, it enables the audience to participate actively in real time. This approach makes it simpler to collect honest feedback, assess audience understanding, and ensure everyone stays involved. I find it particularly useful in workshops or meetings where audience contributions influence the direction of the discussion. Overall, it streamlines the process of gathering responses, boosts engagement, and helps make presentations more dynamic and effective.

 ### 11. Effortless Participation and Instant Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bogdan M. | Educator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

Mentimeter simplifies the process of engaging audiences during presentations. It allows participants to provide instant feedback or responses in a fun and interactive way. The platform is extremely user-friendly, making it easy to create polls, quizzes, and surveys without any technical hassle. It’s especially effective for workshops, lectures, and team meetings, helping presenters keep their audience engaged and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

Mentimeter is an excellent tool overall, but some of its more advanced features, such as in-depth analytics and custom branding, are restricted to higher-tier paid plans. This limitation could be a drawback for smaller teams or educators. Another consideration is that both presenters and participants need a reliable internet connection, which can occasionally be problematic in some settings.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter helps make presentations and surveys far more interactive and engaging. Instead of relying on passive slides or one-way communication, it allows the audience to actively participate in real time. This makes it easier to gather honest feedback, check audience understanding, and keep everyone involved. It’s especially helpful in workshops or meetings where audience input shapes the discussion. Overall, it saves time collecting responses, improves engagement, and makes presentations more dynamic and effective.

 ### 12. Effortless Interactive Presentations, But Needs Smarter Quizzes and More In-Person Engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Emily C. | Lecturer, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

How easy it is to set up interactive presentations. It helps a lot teaching in higher education, as with big lecture halls we can gage how students are feeling, there knowledge and how well they are doing at tasks live. I also use it to gain feedback from big cohorts as the sliding scales are really quick for them to full out. It great how easy it is for people to sue without having to sign up.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

I don't like that it discourages some in-person interactions and tends to keep people focused on their phones or screens. It would be better if there were more features designed to encourage conversations either before or after using the app. Additionally, the quiz functionality feels limited. For example, if someone doesn't enter the exact correct value, the system can't recognize it as correct, even if the answer is only off by a space or a slight rounding difference. A more intelligent feature that can identify roughly correct responses in free text would be a significant improvement.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool is useful for assessing how university students are learning and engaging in class. It allows me to encourage participation from those who might normally be too shy to speak up, helping them contribute more actively. Additionally, it enables me to gather feedback directly from the students.

 ### 13. Engaging Live Participation, Needs YouTube and ChatGPT Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayank A. | Lecturer & Subject Coordinator – Introduction to Cybersecurity, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

Everyone can join from their phone or laptop, and the responses appear live on the projector, making it feel like a real-time competition where everyone wants to win. The customer support is excellent, and the platform’s ease of use and implementation really stand out, it’s quick to set up, simple to manage, and easy to handle questions and answers without any technical hassle. The frequency of use is high because it’s genuinely engaging and fun to use, not just for one-off sessions but regularly.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

It would be even better if it offered YouTube video integration for interactive questions and allowed users to drag or copy questions directly from ChatGPT into Mentimeter for a faster setup experience.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter solves the problem of low classroom engagement and one-way communication during sessions. It turns passive listeners into active participants by allowing everyone to respond in real time through their own devices. This makes discussions more interactive and keeps students genuinely interested. For me, it simplifies collecting instant feedback, running polls, and checking understanding without needing any extra tools. It saves time, makes sessions more dynamic, and helps create a more inclusive learning environment where every student’s voice is heard.

 ### 14. No More Boring Lectures: Keeping Students Focused & Engaged with Mentimeter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo L. | Faculty, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I really enjoy using Mentimeter in my classes because it makes students genuinely engage with the material. The platform lets me add GIFs, music, and fun, hands-on questions that keep everyone interested. The competitive part—where students can see who gets first place—always brings great energy to the room.

It’s super easy to implement in the classroom, and I actually use it at least once a week. It also integrates really well with Canvas, which makes setup and grading simple. The customer support team has been very helpful whenever I’ve had tech questions.

My favorite feature so far is the AI tool—it saves me so much time when creating interactive activities and quizzes.

Overall, it’s a fun, reliable, and creative tool that keeps students actively involved and makes class time more dynamic.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

The only downside is that occasionally some students experience minor tech issues when running Mentimeter on their devices. It doesn’t happen often, but it has come up a few times in my classes.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter has also solved the issue of students getting distracted when they’re allowed to use their computers in class. Now, instead of browsing elsewhere, they’re actively participating and staying focused on the activity.

 ### 15. Easy, Interactive Presentations with Metimeter—Customization Could Be Better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olusola O. | Assistant Professor in Nursing Department, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I find it convenient and easy to use. It is simple for the presenters and participants to join and interact without technical hurdles.
Also, the features like Q & A, world clouds, quizzes... make the presentations interactive and boost participation and attention. The real-time feedback allows the presenters to gauge the understanding on the spot, and Metimeter works on any device via browser or app

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

The tool has limited customization and basic visualization options, which makes some charts appear less polished. Additionally, using the tool can be frustrating if the internet connection is poor.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter creates interactive features such as quizzes and word clouds, transforming passive students into active participants.
It provides instant feedback, allowing me to assess comprehension and adjust my teaching in real time.
Additionally, the ability to gather immediate feedback is fantastic, as it eliminates the need for time-consuming manual feedback collection

 ### 16. Using Mentimeter in the classroom - engaging and fun for students

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dimana K. | Lecturer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I like that Mentimeter allows a mix of visual and verbal media. For example, if I use it to ask a question, I can also include a relevant image that prompts reflection, or a funny gif to engage the audience on a personal level and alleviate tension. The features are easy to use; creating a Menti presentation takes a few minutes. Presenting it live is self-paced, which means we take as little or as long as necessary.

I use Mentimeter in my role as a university lecturer. In practical workshops, we use Menti to quiz students on previous materials and check their understanding. In such cases, the fact it's anonymous creates a safe space for students to answer without fear of reprisal. Meanwhile, the "leaderboard" brings in an element of friendly competition, which, coupled with anonymity, can engage the class on a deeper level than passive listening.

However, my favourite way to use Mentimeter is for polling student opinions during large-room lectures. In these settings, students don't often speak in class as they feel "on the spot" and it can be intimidating speaking up in front of dozens or hundreds of others. Using Menti quizzes allows me to give students an anonymous, safe voice. Asking "How are you doing today?" and grouping answers in a word cloud helps start the conversation in an easy-going, accessible way and makes the lecture hall less intimidating. In short, it helps students connect to each other and to me, by humanising the experience. Then, using open-ended questions and rating scales allows me to prompt the students' own opinions and insight, which involves them in the learning process.

In the past, students reported that using a quiz was more engaging than passive listening, especially to break a long lecture session. At best, it makes the audience an active participant in the content, and at worst, it provides feedback on the audience's reactions. For that reason, it's very useful.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

The one downside of Mentimeter (or my own use of it) is that I haven't figured out how to incorporate it directly into Powerpoint presentations, without having to log in in a separate window, switch screens and present from there. In a presentation, that might mean changing presenter view, recording multiple screens, and it's generally a bit of a hassle. It does not prevent me from using Menti effectively, but it required a brief periof of adjustment and trouble-shooting presentations. As a result, it took me a while to get used to Mentimeter and get comfortable with it. What would help alleviate this issue is more sign-posting on how to integrate Menti with other software (for those, like me, who are a bit clutzy when switching task modes).

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter solves the issue with getting real-time feedback during long presentations. In a university context, we often don't know how students are receiving the information until much later, such as end-of-semester module evaluation. If we ask for feedback in the lecture itself, students rarely speak up, especially in a room with 100-300 other people. This can worsen the barrier between lecturer and learners, and make learners feel isolated. I used Mentimeter for two purposes: 1) to get anonymous feedback without requiring students to speak up in public, and 2) to engage students on a more personal level, alleviate the tension in the room, humanise the experience and connect. As a result, the students feel as a part of a community and get to express their own opinions, rather than being passive listeners in a crowd. It allows the feedback options of a conversation, while retaining anonymity, and that is particulalty useful for this kind of audience. Last, but not least, the open-ended questions on Menti allow me to pull students' own interpretations, which asks them to think about the topic and come up with their own interpretation. This is very useful for making the learning more applied and involving the audicence as active participants.

 ### 17. Mentimeter has improved Engagement in my classes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nike A. | Principal Investigator - ESDC Social Impact Project, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

Mentimeter is an outstanding tool for creating interactive presentations that truly engage students. It offers a wide range of activity types, such as multiple-choice polls, open-ended questions, ranking exercises, and word clouds, that can be seamlessly embedded into your slides to encourage participation and real-time feedback. One of its most impressive recent updates is the integration with Google Slides, which makes it easy to enhance existing presentations without extra effort. The platform is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing both educators and students to interact effortlessly through any device. With its visually appealing live results and dynamic features, Mentimeter transforms traditional lectures into interactive experiences that students consistently enjoy and find motivating.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

Nothing really. I will say it is a near-perfect tool for me.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter solves three persistent teaching challenges for me: low real‑time engagement, limited formative feedback, and clunky workflows. In large or mixed‑modality classes, many students hesitate to speak up; Mentimeter’s multiple‑choice polls, open‑ended prompts, rankings, and word clouds let every student contribute anonymously from any device, which dramatically broadens participation and surfaces quieter voices. I also get instant, visual feedback on understanding, so I can adjust pacing, revisit misconceptions, or extend discussion while it still matters, turning passive listening into active learning. Finally, its Google Slides integration removes the friction of switching apps or rebuilding decks; I can embed interactions into my existing slides, save prep time, and keep the session flowing. The result is a more inclusive classroom with higher participation, clearer insight into learning in the moment, and a smoother, faster prep and delivery process for me.

 ### 18. Great for Participation and Evaluation—Needs Better PowerPoint Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** M.Reza B. | University Instructor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

Mentimeter is an outstanding tool for enhancing classroom engagement and interaction. I especially appreciate its wide range of features like live polls, quizzes, and word clouds, which allow students to participate actively and anonymously. It’s excellent for instant evaluation of students’ understanding and skills, and the brainstorming tools help generate meaningful discussions. The ability to export results and use them for further analysis or documentation is a big plus. It also supports inclusive participation, making it easier to hear from every student, even in large or quiet classes. Overall, it’s a dynamic and effective platform for both teaching and learning.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

Mentimeter could improve its easy integration with PowerPoint—it’s not seamless and doesn’t allow easy copy-paste of text or slides from PPT. Formatting options are limited, and more flexibility in design and layout would make it even better. Adding features like customizable fonts, better slide transitions, and more advanced visual options would enhance its usability for professional presentations.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter helps solve one of the challenges in teaching: engaging students meaningfully during class. It allows me to quickly assess their understanding, gather opinions, and encourage participation—even from quieter students. The live polls, quizzes, and word clouds make learning interactive and fun, while the instant feedback helps me adjust my teaching in real time. It also gives me deeper insights into students’ knowledge and perspectives, which supports better planning and follow-up activities. Overall, it creates a more inclusive and responsive learning environment.

 ### 19. My Experience as a Post-Secondary Instructor using Mentimeter

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I have been using Mentimeter for more than two years, and I use it every day during the week. Uploading my slides is straightforward, and it has made my classes much more interactive. Mentimeter also allows me to incorporate various universal design for learning principles, which helps make learning enjoyable for my students. To create a presentation have been very easy and stress free especially with the integration of AI. To implement and incorporate a video or audio into my slide has been perfect! As for customer support, I haven't had any technical issue that requires a customer support but some of their staffs that have visited my institution have been great!

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

Some features were discontinued like stopwatch and some other ones I can't really remember which were good to have especially during exams in a learning environment like mine. I would appreciate if they are added to give a more exciting experience.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter is solving the problem of Isolation in my class, students not wanting to collaborate, issue of anonymity. This has increased interaction during class and sparked up engagement in the learning environment.

 ### 20. Easy Response Viewing and Clear Totals—No Issues So Far

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

Nothing, it's great and I have not had any issues.

 ### 21. Versatile tool for audience and student engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jani L. | Development Manager | Digital Learning Solutions, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

Mentimeter is an excellent tool for engaging your audience, adding interactive elements to presentations, and collecting feedback. I highly recommend it for use in higher education, as it effectively supports classroom, remote, and hybrid teaching environments. Additionally, it works very well for company events, team meetings, workshops, and similar occasions. What I particularly appreciate about this tool is its user-friendly, PowerPoint-like interface combined with a wide range of interactive features. It was very easy to implement, and their customer success management is also excellent!

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

As a system administrator, I would appreciate having additional features for user management and usage analytics. For instance, the ability to search or filter data and then perform bulk operations when necessary would be very helpful.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We conducted an internal development project to determine the best audience engagement tool for our university. Before launching Mentimeter campus-wide, we were using another tool that was quite complicated and had an outdated user interface. Mentimeter integrates interactive engagement features directly into presentations, so our teachers no longer need to use separate tools for presenting and for audience interaction. This benefit also extends to internal workshops and meetings. Creating presentations in Menti is straightforward, and it’s easy to add polls and questions, allowing us to collect valuable feedback from stakeholders during project meetings, for example.

 ### 22. Menti is a great presentation software, but a terrible class room management tool

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William T. | Assistant Professor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

The open-ended questions are well organized. This is the only part of Menti I like.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

The lack of canvas integration, the obsession with tracking every single thing from non-engagement pages, the lack of tools like drag and drop, the lack of page numbers, the 2 second lag between pages, no questions inside videos, the lack of ability to easily add a set of slides to an existing presentation. Those are the problems I had this week!

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like to keep my students engaged and have formative assessments so I can gauge the levels of comprehension. But I note with dismay that teaching/classroom isn't a purpose listed in the previous question. When I met with your tech team this summer to ask who they think they compete with in the education space, they could only name Top Hat. I am not very familiar with Top Hat, but my understanding is that it is a medium quality platform.

**Official Response from Phat Nguyen:**

 ### 23. since I know Menti it is helping me during all Tech Projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lukasz O. | Oracle Solution Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

What I like best about Mentimeter is its combination of ease of use and powerful features. Since I started using Menti, it has supported me in all my tech projects by helping me keep participants engaged and focused on relevant content. The intuitive interface makes it easy to set up and run interactive sessions, even for first-time users. Implementation is straightforward, and I can quickly integrate Mentimeter into my workflow or existing platforms.

Customer support is responsive and helpful, which gives me confidence when I need assistance or have questions. I use Mentimeter every week because it offers a wide range of features I need from live polls to quizzes and word clouds, that keep my sessions dynamic and interactive. The platform’s integration options also make it easy to connect with other tools I use, streamlining my preparation and delivery. Overall, Mentimeter is a reliable, versatile solution that enhances engagement and productivity in every project.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

While I appreciate Mentimeter’s interactive features, my biggest challenge is converting existing PowerPoint presentations (PPTX) into interactive Menti sessions. To get the most out of Mentimeter, I often need to rebuild my slides and ideas within the platform, which can be quite time-consuming, especially during busy tech projects. As a result, I usually look for a ‘sweet spot’ between interactivity and preparation time, rather than fully leveraging all of Menti’s capabilities.

I’d love to see Mentimeter make it even easier to convert ideas and PPTX files into ready-to-use interactive presentations. A more seamless integration or automated conversion tool would help me maximize engagement without sacrificing efficiency. + I look forward more useful AI summary toolset.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me Mentimeter solves the challenge of engaging dispersed teams and creating a dynamic feedback loop during online meetings and tech projects.
I think that the biggest benefit I have is how it transforms passive audiences into active participants, no matter where they are located.
This dynamic engagement helps me understand team sentiment in real time, adjust the session to focus on what matters most, and ensure that everyone’s voice is heard.
As a result, meetings become more productive, collaborative, and relevant, which is especially valuable when working with remote or hybrid teams.

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

What I like best: The immediate interaction and the ability to see participants' thoughts in real-time (e.g., in word clouds).

Most useful: The ability to easily collect immediate feedback and make presentations engaging.

Advantages:

Increased Engagement: Turn passive listeners into active participants.

Anonymity: Allows for honest responses from the audience.

Data Collection: Quickly get an overview of opinions and knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

What I dislike/Disadvantages:

Technology dependence: Requires a stable internet connection and devices.

Cost: Full functionality requires a paid version.

Superficiality: Responses can be quick but lack depth.

Least useful: When trying to gather complex, nuanced responses, traditional surveys or discussions are better.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter transforms passive listeners into active participants by allowing immediate, often anonymous feedback. This solves the problem of fear of speaking and provides the presenter with immediate insight into the audience's understanding or opinions.

This leads to more effective meetings, higher engagement, and enables data-driven decisions based on collective input.

 ### 26. Engaging Presentations Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

The thing I like most about Mentimeter is how easy it is to get everyone involved, no matter the setting. The platform makes it effortless to collect live input from large groups, spark discussions, and see audience reactions immediately. It makes presentations and meetings much more interactive and fun, helping participants feel heard whether they’re in the room or joining remotely.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

One downside is that some of the more advanced features and design options are locked behind the paid version, which can be limiting if you’re trying to create more customized or in-depth sessions. Also, I’ve noticed there can be a bit of a learning curve when setting up more complex questions, and sometimes there are slight delays when lots of people are voting at the same time. Better integration with other tools would be helpful too.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter has honestly helped solve the age-old problem of keeping people engaged and encouraging honest feedback, especially in bigger meetings or classes where not everyone is comfortable speaking up. The real-time polls and quizzes are a great way to quickly gauge understanding and adapt on the fly. For me, it’s been a game changer in getting quality feedback and participation from all kinds of groups, making my sessions more meaningful and productive.

 ### 27. Interactive Presentations Made Easy with Mentimeter

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ngân P.

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I use Mentimeter primarily to create interactive presentations that significantly enhance engagement with participants during webinars. One of the standout features for me is the variety of interactive formats available, such as surveys with the option for single or multiple selections, as well as word clouds. These features foster interaction between presenters and participants, especially useful in Google Meet settings. The survey capabilities are particularly valuable as they allow participants to choose one or multiple answers, depending on my settings. Afterward, Mentimeter efficiently aggregates the data, highlighting the most selected options, which is extremely helpful for presenters like me to focus on what truly matters to the audience. Additionally, I found the initial setup of Mentimeter to be quite easy, which enhances the overall user experience.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

I struggle with the pricing consideration because I work at a very small company. Sometimes, we have workshops with a lot of participants and other times with fewer participants. This makes it challenging to justify the cost of a paid plan.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mentimeter to enhance interaction in webinars, helping presenters focus on participant interests with surveys and interactive formats like word clouds.

 ### 28. Engaging and Easy to Use

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

love how easy Mentimeter is to use for creating interactive presentations. The interface is intuitive, and the variety of question types—like polls, word clouds, and quizzes—makes it simple to engage an audience in real time. It’s especially helpful for workshops, classes, and meetings where participation is important. The live results feature always keeps people interested and encourages honest input. Overall, it makes presentations far more dynamic and fun.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

The main downside is that some of the more advanced features require a paid plan, which can be limiting for smaller teams or occasional users. Customization options for slide layouts and branding also feel a bit restricted compared to full presentation tools. Occasionally, participants may have connectivity issues depending on their network. None of these are deal-breakers, but they’re small areas where the platform could improve.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter helps me make presentations more interactive and ensures that everyone in the audience has a voice. It solves the problem of low engagement by allowing participants to respond in real time through polls, quizzes, and Q&A. This makes it easier to gather instant insights, keep people focused, and understand audience perspectives without slowing down the flow of the session.

These features collectively contribute to my positive experience with Mentimeter.

The design customization options are hard to navigate and not user-friendly, limiting my ability to tailor presentations to my specific needs. The exceptional quality of customer service further enriches my experience, making it a product I would confidently recommend to others.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

I think it is great - one thing that would help is when I am collating and downloading the information if I could do this with the more detailed information which shows how many people have voted, etc.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter allows me to collate information anonymously via polls in a professional manner, enhancing customer engagement. It's intuitive and easy to use, especially for non-techy individuals, helping me look professional in presentations.

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I have been using Mentimeter for several years, and I find it incredibly valuable as a facilitation tool in workshops and meetings. This is particularly useful in capturing feedback that can serve as evidence or data for reports and presentations. I am impressed by its ease of use and the variety of interactive types it offers, making it engaging for my audience. The integration with other tools, especially PowerPoint, works well once set up, adding to the tool's efficiency. I really enjoy the quiz function and other interactive question types like multiple choice, ranking questions, and open-ended options. The initial setup of Mentimeter was very straightforward, and this seamless start has positively shaped my overall experience with the product. Overall, Mentimeter stands out for its excellent functionality and ability to adapt to various professional needs in meetings and workshops.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

I use Mentimeter as a facilitation tool to provide anonymity, capture feedback, and engage participants interactively in presentations, which helps maintain their interest and supports data collection for reports.

It’s very easy to set up and doesn’t require any technical skills. The clean design and ease of use for both presenters and participants are major advantages.

 ### 36. Mentimeter: Engaging Tool for Class Participation and Fun Learning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica W. | Professor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

Mentimeter is an excellent tool for encouraging participation in class. I use it in both my online and in-person sessions, and my students appreciate having the chance to review material, play games, and enjoy engaging icebreakers. It really helps create a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

Setting it up is quite cumbersome. I've noticed that the questions I previously created often don't function as well when I use the software again—sometimes features are removed, which means I have to redo my work. The overall experience feels very dull. While it's possible to add colours and backgrounds, doing so requires significantly more effort.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In class participation. It is great to get those students to participate who may not feel comfortable raising their hands.

 ### 37. Engaging Features, but Word Limits Hinder Depth

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ghufrane d.

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I really like the active participation features in Mentimeter, including polls, graphs, and diagrams, as well as the anonymization of opinions. These features have been incredibly valuable in my seminars at the university. They allow students to feel confident to share their opinions without the pressure of being identified, which enhances engagement and class discussions. Mentimeter's interactive features also provide greater connectivity in class, enabling more meaningful interactions. It solves the challenge of coming up with new activities for each seminar by allowing me to use its open question and poll features to gather student opinions on topics without needing to conduct a full activity. This not only saves time but also encourages lively classroom discussions. Consequently, these features significantly benefit my teaching experience and are a key reason why I would choose Mentimeter again.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

I find the word and character limitations on Mentimeter slides restrictive, which makes it difficult to explore topics in-depth during my seminars. This constraint forces me to limit the amount of information I can present, impacting the quality of my teaching materials. Additionally, I am frustrated by the software's requirement for images to be inserted using its own system rather than allowing for a more manual, flexible approach. Furthermore, I would prefer if Mentimeter could allow the presenter to identify the participants in polls directly, rather than requiring participants to fill out their information. This would help in creating more personalized interactions and understanding student engagement better.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mentimeter to engage students in seminars by utilizing open questions and polls, facilitating discussions without full activities, which boosts participation and confidence through anonymity.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

The only thing that sometimes frustrates me is the limitation in the free version. A few more slides or question types would make a big difference for smaller teams that don’t always have a budget for premium tools. I also wish the export options were a bit more flexible for sharing results afterward. Nothing major, just small improvements that would make it even smoother.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter solves the problem of passive meetings and one-way communication. In many technical teams, especially in QA or test automation, it’s easy for discussions or retrospectives to become routine and quiet. Mentimeter changes that completely — it gives everyone a voice, even the ones who normally don’t speak up.

It helps me gather real, honest feedback from my team in seconds and visualize it instantly, which makes our decision-making more data-driven and collaborative. It also keeps people engaged during demos and workshops, so instead of talking at the audience, I’m interacting with them.

In short, it turns static meetings into active sessions, saves time, and helps build better communication and team alignment.

 ### 41. Flexible and Engaging Surveys, But Needs Better Slide Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

It is really useful being able to quickly generate a questionaire or survey to conduct a quick bit of engagement with a team. The ability to display results live as people respond, or to hide them as responses come in to give a 'big reveal' is really helpful.

The range of different question types that are supported, and the ability to customise most of it means that it is really flexible for loads of business uses.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

It would be great if it was easier to add banks of text and images to the question slides. This would allow me to build my presentation within Mentimeter and have the questions appearing as I went through the slides. As it is I have to switch between Mentimeter and Powerpoint which is a bit clunky.

With that feature I would likely switch completely to Mentimeter for all of the workshops that I run.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter has solved the problem of how to quickly take a temperature check on how people are feeling going into a session - how psychologically safe they feel - and also to capture feelings on what went well and what could be improved next time from the session.

 ### 42. Effortlessly Engages Students in Lectures

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tevin M.

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I really appreciate how easy Mentimeter is to set up and start using, which makes it very accessible for educators like me who need quick and efficient tools in the classroom. The platform plays a significant role in my teaching, particularly in engaging engineering students who are often introverted or shy. Mentimeter allows all students to participate in lectures without the pressure of speaking up in a group setting, thus fostering inclusivity and engagement. I frequently use its polls and word clouds features, which are excellent for eliciting short responses and capturing the students' inputs dynamically. This capability not only enhances interaction but also enriches the educational experience. Moreover, the overall ease of use of Mentimeter is a compelling factor that makes me consider repurchasing it, as it facilitates student engagement with minimal hassle. My positive experience with these features is evident as I rate my likelihood of recommending it to others at nine and a half out of ten.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

I dislike that Mentimeter does not integrate with Canva. It would be convenient to have Mentimeter questions built directly into Canva presentations, avoiding the need to switch back and forth between different tabs.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mentimeter to engage students in lectures, especially introverted ones, by allowing them to interact with content without speaking up. It makes lectures more interactive and inclusive.

 ### 43. Highly Flexible, Easy-to-Use Virtual Polling for Any Workshop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

It is a highly flexible, easy-to-use virtual polling platform that makes it simple to create integrated or standalone polls. These polls can be adapted to a wide variety of workshops, questions, and templates. And can be integrated directly into presentation software to enable seamless discussion of results in real time.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

The powerpoint integration can be a little fiddly/laggy at times, so I've had to occasionally switch to showing the results in the mentimeter presenter browser page. It's a minor thing, but could be improved.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facilitation of in-person and virtual workshops, offline questionnaires and prioritization from stakeholders, and easily exportable results.

 ### 44. Engaging and Easy to Use, But UX Needs Refinement for Respondents

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

It's easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. It helps me make my lectures more engaging in an easy way. I now use it every week a couple of times per week. It's very easy to integrate within the lecture flow. The different poll/quiz options that it offers is great (although it could be improved further). It is very easy for respondents to access and engage with the questions, which is a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

The User Experience could be polished a bit further, especially when it comes to enabling respondents to follow their own pace. There could be more advanced ways of exporting data to facilitate data analysis. Although it can be integrated in PowerPoint, I've found that this can be improved. I typically only show the QR code and joining code on a slide and then switch to the Mentimeter website, switching back to the PowerPoint when I'm done with the Mentimeter. It's not ideal but it works well, unlike the integration with PowerPoint.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling me to make my lectures more engaging and getting students to participate without having to put them on the spot. It also gives me some data after the session that I can use to plan future sessions.

 ### 45. Great way to engage students and faculty/staff alike

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marianne M. | Director of Professional Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

The ease of copying PowerPoints into the presentation so easy integration. There are also some fun templates that can be used so that a presenter doesn't need to start from scratch. We use Menti for all of our classes for capturing attendance and the download function is quite easy to use and share.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

I wish there were more "fun" templates to choose from and I also wish you could more easily copy slides from different templates.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy for capturing attendance and sharing attendance after the class. This is also great for large classrooms when students do not want to ask questions as we enable the option for students to ask questions as we go through the material on Menti.

 ### 46. Students loved the experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harsha M. | Lecturer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I recently started lecturing using Menti without PowerPoint. I particularly enjoyed how it enhanced audience engagement through interactive slides. The use of open-ended questions, polls, and ratings allowed for dynamic and participatory sessions. Incorporating quizzes with a leadership board also effectively gamified the class, enriching the student experience and making learning more enjoyable and interactive.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

It could benefit from a more flexible slide design, multiple answer options in quizzes, and easier image positioning.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter addresses the challenge of student engagement by providing interactive features like multiple-choice questions, polls, open-ended questions and voting. This allows me to actively involve students in the learning process and gather their opinions, enhancing participation and making the class more dynamic and responsive to their needs.

 ### 47. Enhances Classroom Engagement with Intuitive Visualizations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pieter V.

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I have been using Mentimeter for about ten years for class engagements, particularly for its polling services and the creation of word clouds, which are very useful for getting input from students. I prefer the visualizations of Mentimeter over other tools like Kahoot or TopHat. Mentimeter is very user-intuitive; there is no need for creating accounts for users to submit information, and its URL is easy to use on any device. I particularly appreciate the tool's capability to create word clouds in real time, allowing for immediate visualization of inputs. Setting up Mentimeter is straightforward and user-friendly, especially when creating presentations with various question types, such as multiple choice and open-ended questions. This platform excels at gathering input, particularly in large lecture classes where interaction is generally challenging due to students' hesitancy or social anxiety. Mentimeter enables the aggregation and real-time display of input, stimulating broader classroom discussions. I find Mentimeter particularly strong in handling unstructured, open-ended data which other tools may not always handle as effectively.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

Nothing to dislike.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter helps me engage large lecture classes by facilitating real-time interaction and feedback, overcoming social anxiety barriers. It aggregates and displays input instantly, fostering broader discussions.

 ### 48. Engaging Tool for Class Discussions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elise W.

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I find Mentimeter extremely easy to set up and use, which has been crucial for integrating it into my teaching. Its ability to create multiple-choice questions and word clouds greatly enhances classroom engagement and encourages students to voice their opinions confidently. It integrates well with PowerPoint, making it an indispensable tool for my classes. Additionally, it allows all students to participate, even in larger classes where not everyone can speak up. This feature empowers students and sometimes even shifts their perspectives after seeing other responses.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

Nothing really. Maybe it'd be nice if it were easier to edit directly in powerpoint, rather than the browser? and it'd be nice if I were easily able to see all the responses appear when in presenter mode, when they take up more than the textbox (I can't scroll when presenting)

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Mentimeter to create engaging class discussions, allowing students to express opinions confidently and facilitating participation, especially in larger classes where not everyone can speak. It enhances student confidence and provides a low-key way to voice opinions.

 ### 49. Seamless Lecture Tool with Easy Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maki U.

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

I find Mentimeter incredibly useful as it allows integration of audio and visual materials seamlessly and aids in engaging with undergraduate students who may not be willing to participate actively in a large class setting. It provides various interactive methods to engage students. The ease of use and the ability to upload slides in various formats quickly stand out for making my lectures more dynamic and interactive. I particularly value features like word cloud, open-ended questions, rankings, and multiple-choice options as they enhance the interactivity of my classes. This ease of use significantly influences my decision to continue using Mentimeter.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

I think sometimes video is not always easy to integrate, particularly if they're from dedicated websites. While YouTube is easy, not all links are easily uploadable.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mentimeter allows me to easily upload slides, integrate audiovisuals, and engage students who are reluctant to participate in large classes.

 ### 50. Engaging Classroom Sessions with Menti

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Mentimeter?**

We follow a flipped classroom model and I use Mentimeter regularly for knowledge checks in my classes. The multiple-choice quizzes are simple to set up, and the interactivity keeps students very engaged, far better than any other similar tool I’ve tried. I used many other functionalities but MCQs, word clouds, and Q&A were my favourites and these always made the class more dynamic and fun. It’s become a core part of how I make lectures more active.

**What do you dislike about Mentimeter?**

Customization options for slides are a bit limited. The default templates look great, but sometimes I wish there were an “advanced edit” mode for finer control over layout or design. Also, it would be great to export slides directly as PowerPoint files, not just the results as pdf.

**What problems is Mentimeter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me make classes more interactive and engaging. I use it for quick knowledge checks and ungraded quizzes, which keep students active and make learning more fun.
