I know most employees don't check their emails regularly, but everyone has their phones on them. I like the fact I can schedule texts to send at a later date/time. This feature helps simplify my job when I need to get information out to our employees, but I want to send it out later, say during their lunch, so I know they will have a moment to read it. The only thing I have found that I am not a fan of is the text amount vs. the number of credits it takes to send them. It has to be a concise and straightforward message to qualify for just one credit. We have under 100 employees and still use hundreds if not thousands of credits a month but only send maybe 2-4 messages monthly. I have found that short and sweet is the key to using Simple Texting. I wish that I could manually assign current subscribers to other lists. As a church, we often have people who want to be a part of multiple lists for different ministry departments. They have to subscribe individually to each list, which I understand is likely a legal requirement for messengers. I wish I could set my automations into their own flows. I dont like that everything for all lists are in one area. I'd like to be able to see one flow at a time and see it in the order of the timeline of release.
There are not a lot of segmentation functions that you are able to do with other softwares. To make lists based off of the user's actions that they've taken, you must really set up some interesting workarounds and they're subpar at best. Not a great tool for higher-level strategies.
