Well, it is easy to implement in marketing and sales. It has prebuilt data, and its features are more relevant. It doesn't confuse me with overly complicated features, and navigation has been easier. Easily integrated Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
API lacks and is a main downside. It has more limitations which makes it a bit difficult for daily use. Fee is also a downside Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Shape appeared to be well designed and had several advanced features like email marketing, lead scoring, and a customer portal. We signed up for 1 month and decided it was not the right fit for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We often found ourselves knowing more about their product than the Shape sales rep. CRM was not very customizable - you are limited to 20 custom fields and they are hidden in a separate tab. CRM was a little slower than our prior CRM, would take an extra second or two to load. Pricing is also more expensive than some of their competitors and their are several additional costs - storage costs, API costs, etc. Their API is also pretty limiting, both in the functionality it offers and the low daily/hourly rate limits which is surprising considering you have to pay an extra monthly fee to use their API.
