I love that our techs have instant access to customer's and their history with us. The techs are always ready to answer any questions about jobs and customers with the tools handy that service titan provides. All aspects of our business are conducted through ServiceTitan. Our technicians receive their work orders, complete service forms, clock in/out, and generate PO numbers all from the same platform. Our office staff can dispatch, invoice, track vehicles and parts, all from the desktop. There are very few reasons to enter data in multiple systems which makes us more efficient and lets us focus on taking care of our customers. The addition of "Pro" products, FleetPro specifically, has allowed us to integrate our fleet telematics, validate service and payroll, and dispatch to emergency calls more efficiently.
The Customer Support Managers are a great resource for figuring out unique issues, and the general support line is very helpful. I speak with one or the other multiple times a week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ServiceTitan is very robust. There are companies solely built on helping contractors discover and use all of it's features. Because of this, the learning curve is daunting, especially if you're trying to learn it while running your business day to day. We used a third party (ServiceTitan Partner "Power House Group") to help us get up to speed quickly and figure out our workflows.
Also, ServiceTitan was originally planned for residential service. As a purely commercial contractor, we sometimes have to get creative to accomplish what we need. ServiceTitan has recognized their gap in service and has/is rolling out improvements for the commercial space, but we're at least a year away from a full-feature commercial product (in my opinion). It's still very possible to operate ServiceTitan as a commercial contractor, it's just not as straightforward as it is for residential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that the Help Center is always very responsive and polite. Whenever I have had an issue with the site they are able to diagnose and take action quickly. Service titan is also very helpful with the update videos and other communities online when it comes to using different features. It's a great software systems for technicians in the field while still having a robust backend for office staff. Onboarding for our commercial business was top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their reporting leaves a lot to be desired. Only being able to run a report on a single dataset is really not up to snuff. While their APIs are a great help for one off requests, it makes it difficult for reporting purposes. I wish they would have read only access to our database so we can query the server directly. Biggest complaint for years is they do not offer Dark Mode! ST, like all software, has things that need to be fixed. The nice thing about ST is they actually continue to work on those things. But still no DARK MODE Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is my first time in a customer serivce role. I have done production for a mfg company, so again this is a new role. ServiceTitan is the program we use and it is for most part quite simple. It tracks all appointment past and future. Everything is there Photos of the job, invoice and costs of items easily found in the price book, description of what was done all on the same page, no jumping back and forth. I was nervous for this new chapter but ServiceTital has made it easy to slide into this role. The videos also came in handy, I learned a few things that the boss didnt know, so we teach each other another nice thing about SeriveTitan. Thanks ServiceTitan. The only downfall that I have found, which may just be for me. I wish when I had a quote in the follow up tab and that same person calls in for the job that is in follow up tab it would remind me that there is an open quote for that person. If I am saying this right. ServiceTitan has worked exceptionally except for that but that could be user error not ServiceTitan Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the best things about ServiceTitan is the community that is on Facebook that allows you ask questions to other contractors that are using the software. Some times it is better to ask someone using it daily, then asking the people that have to learn the software from a technical standpoint instead of an operations standpoint. Service Titan puts everything in one program so that it is easily accesssible and very user friendly. Saves space as we do not need filing cabinets and is very enviromentally friendly which is the least of their fantastic services that they offer. We can send the customer all of their information in one email, and book follow up calls for the best customer support. It is very easy to learn, unlike other programs. It integrates with Quickbooks very easily. We do not use any other software for our locations. This is used every minute of everyday! The Implementation was so easy. From accounting standpoint, online payments is phoenominal. We had to manually process hundresd of thousands of credit card payments, and now, it's very rare that we get them over the phone to be processed. Cashflow is so much improved. You literally watch it pouring in! Purchasing has improved from paper & PO books with carbon copies! We no longer have to go pull copies, make copies if there are back orders, keep the log of who has what PO book for when we go look for the PO’s. ANYONE can see who did what when and to whom. We don’t send our PO’s to vendors for the most part, but if we did, that is a much cleaner process. We had spreadsheets for our equipment that we printed to mark what we needed to order, scanned & emailed that then folded the paper to fit and stapled to the PO. ALL GONE!! Notes in the comment bubble that carry over to the receipt and the bill are so helpful as well. Those of us who mostly look only at the bills, lose some data that is on the PO and receipt especially regarding memos so that’s why we use the comment bubble. Although reporting is amazing and you can create your own, we could use some data that crosses different areas within ServiceTitan and we are limited to certain paths to gather data (i.e. maintenance records & customer balances).
