**What do you like best about ServiceTitan?**

I like that ServiceTitan provides an easy way to communicate, which is crucial for both our team and customers. The call recording feature is particularly handy since we can record interactions with our customers and find ways to improve. Their app enhances the overall communication experience, allowing us to fully engage with both our team and customers effectively.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

The deeper we get into ServiceTitan, the more the experience changes because we're locked in which makes it harder to change companies. ServiceTitan also is trying to be an all in one company, though they will not be there for a while in every avenue. Because of this they overcharge with the additional add ons when other companies for now, do the job better. The initial setup wasn't very easy and it is still taking time as we're adjusting to their new changes.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceTitan improves our customer experience, helps with dispatch, and facilitates technician communication. We use it for marketing, providing call recording and easy communication with customers and the team.

**What do you like best about ServiceTitan?**

ServiceTitan isn’t just “software we use.” It’s the backbone that keeps an HVAC business running without chaos. From dynamic scheduling and dispatching techs in real time, to invoicing on-site before we ever leave a home, it removes a lot of the back-and-forth that used to slow teams down.

The CRM side helps us stay ahead of customers instead of reacting to them, and inventory tracking keeps us from getting caught mid-job without parts. The integrations with accounting and reporting tools also give us real visibility into what’s actually driving performance and profit, not guesswork.

What I appreciate most is how it connects the field and the office so decisions happen faster and with better information. It’s not perfect, but when it’s dialed in, it absolutely raises the standard for speed, organization, and customer experience.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

ServiceTitan can definitely be powerful, but it’s not always plug-and-play. Setup can take time, and there’s a learning curve to really getting it dialed in the way your business needs it to run.

It can also get expensive quickly, especially when you start adding on pro products on top of an already significant investment. That’s something every business has to weigh against the efficiency and visibility it provides once everything is fully built out and working the way it should.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceTitan helps HVAC and other service-based businesses run their operations more efficiently by bringing scheduling, dispatching, invoicing, and customer management into one platform. It tackles disorganized workflows and disconnected systems by streamlining day-to-day processes, improving communication with customers, and offering data-driven insights that support business growth. It also makes it easier to track performance, manage employees, and stay on top of finances.

fast dispatch software and ability to record calls

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

Stay away from ServiceTitan. It’s extremely overpriced. I’ve been a customer for the past few years, and when they imported my database, they lost thousands of my customers and duplicated the entire database. It was a complete nightmare.

The situation was so bad that they fired the person responsible for the import and told me it was the worst import in the company’s history.

They also offer products like Market Pro and Schedule Pro — don’t waste your money. With Market Pro, I signed a one-year contract and was told I’d get the first six months free. Later, I found out they doubled the cost for the last six months.

Their customer service is absolutely terrible. There’s no one you can call directly. You have to email everyone and wait for a response, which may not come for weeks.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 4. A True All-in-One Field Service Platform That Streamlines Growth

**What do you like best about ServiceTitan?**

They offer a comprehensive field service management solution that covers everything you need. Beyond scheduling and dispatch, their invoicing integrates seamlessly with QuickBooks. They also provide features like Marketing Pro, online payments, estimates and proposals, AI tools, and CRM functionality. Overall, it’s a true all-in-one platform designed to streamline operations and support business growth.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

Even though ServiceTitan is often praised as an all-in-one platform (like you described), there are some very consistent complaints that come up across reviews and user discussions.
1.) It's expensive, 2.) Steep learning curve/complexity. 3.) Long and difficult onboarding, 4.) Customer support can, at times be inconsistent,  for example; long wait times, getting passed between teams, inconsistent answers.  Bottom line; ServiceTitan's biggest downside is actually tied to its biggest strength: It tries to do everything, which leads to all of the above dislikes.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are constantly trying to solve all problems and do system updates regularly.

**What do you like best about ServiceTitan?**

ServiceTitan is a powerful field service management platform for the trades. It centralizes almost every part of our business - scheduling and dispatching, customer relationship management, invoicing and payments, and much more! We partnered with ServiceTitan to help us scale our family heating, cooling and electrical business.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

We dislike the pricing of the platform - it's a large annual investment - especially as a small, family business. However, we chose the investment to help us grow and scale. 

Upon partnering with ServiceTitan, we were not aware of the long and complicated setup process of our account. There also was - and still is - a tremendous learning curve. The software is complex and navigation can feel confusing at first.

Another pain point is inconsistent customer support. We had a phenomenal customer success manager, Warren, who would meet with our team monthly and went above and beyond to answer our questions and help with beast practices. Our account was transitioned to a new, unresponsive customer success manager - and now we have a different customer success manager.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceTitan centralizes customer and job information - from service history to equipment installed and notes and photos! Our technicians and office staff always have the full history, which improves quality and efficiency. Also, ServiceTitan provides real-time dispatch details to help us schedule smarter and serve more of our neighbors.

**What do you like best about ServiceTitan?**

What I like most about ServiceTitan is that it gives visibility into almost every part of the business. Once your processes are set up correctly, it really helps connect the office, technicians, dispatching, billing, and reporting all in one place.

One of the biggest improvements for us was getting away from relying on multiple spreadsheets to track everything. Having information live in one system instead of several separate spreadsheets has made communication, tracking, and accountability much easier across departments.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

What I like most about ServiceTitan is that it gives visibility into almost every part of the business. Once your processes are set up correctly, it really helps connect the office, technicians, dispatching, billing, and reporting all in one place.

I also like that it allows you to create workflows that fit your company instead of forcing every company to operate the exact same way. It has helped us become more organized, improved communication between departments, and made it easier to track things that used to fall through the cracks.

Moving away for the use of spread sheets, collections

  ### 7. Misleading and deceptive onboarding and signup process avoid if small or mid sized business.

**What do you like best about ServiceTitan?**

Nothing. I never got to use the software in any functional capacity.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

ServiceTitan's I was misled and uninformed that this software is not designed for my business as a startup.  At no point was I told that ServiceTitan is built for large commercial and enterprise businesses — not startups or small operators with one or two technicians. That is a material fact that was deliberately withheld. And has caused delays and harm to my business.

I was also not clearly informed I was signing a 2-year contract. No demo was provided before signing.

Onboarding was never completed due to delays entirely on ServiceTitan's side. I requested cancellation before onboarding finished, having never used the software. They refused and threatened collections.

I have since filed complaints with the Nevada AG, California AG, FTC, CFPB, and BBB. My credit card dispute was decided in my favor.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None — it created them. Wrong product sold to the wrong customer through a misleading sales process.

**What do you like best about ServiceTitan?**

I like the security in ServiceTitan because it provides an audit trail of all activities. It's great for tracking revenue through various reports that can be generated. The range of report options is extensive, and if you can think of a type, there's usually a way to generate it. Once I learned where to find things, it became easy to make necessary fixes.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

I think one of the things that could be improved is the support side of things. There's a noticeable discrepancy in the level of knowledge and efficiency between different support agents. Sometimes you get a support agent who knows a lot about ServiceTitan and can solve your problem in five minutes. Other times, it can take up to fifteen minutes to get the answer, which slows things down. The learning curve was a little bit high.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ServiceTitan for tracking revenue, customer reviews, and technician timesheets, ensuring comprehensive control and security with an audit trail. It generates various reports to track our revenue effectively.

**What do you like best about ServiceTitan?**

I love our CSM, Jay Flores! He does an excellent job keeping us informed on updates and educating us where we need it regarding ServiceTitan. I also appreciate that ServiceTitan integrates with our QuickBooks Online, which we use to pay bills. It's definitely the best software we've used so far for taking calls, booking jobs, collecting revenue, and tracking our KPIs.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

One thing that isn't as popular with our team is that it is always updating! Sometimes we have a hard time with ServiceTitan and Apple (our guys use iPads in the field) and sometimes it can be difficult to get out of a Pro product because of contracts.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceTitan is the best software we've used to take calls, book jobs, collect revenue, and track our KPIs.

**What do you like best about ServiceTitan?**

ServiceTitan really lets users go as deep as they want, depending on how much functionality they need. If you’re willing to take the time to learn the system, you can accomplish a lot with this platform, and tailor it to fit the way you work.  They also really stand behind their product.

**What do you dislike about ServiceTitan?**

On the flip side, you really do need to invest a significant amount of time in setup and in learning your way around the software to get the most benefit from it. For some people, it can be difficult to wrap their heads around how everything works at first.

**What problems is ServiceTitan solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceTitan has really helped us automate customer communications. The automated texts and emails sent when a technician is on the way to a property are a lifesaver. It also automatically sends reminder notifications for outstanding repair estimates, which has been extremely helpful.
