What do you like best about ServiceNow IT Asset Management?

It is simple yet powerful. The Out-of-box solution is pretty robust so most users can get started without a lot of customization. It integrates with all of the other ServiceNow modules so if you already use the platform then this is a great addition. It also integrates well with third-party software easily. It can track assets and licenses as well. The reporting feature is also great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The license and costs of ServiceNow IT Asset Management can be a bit high. It has a learning curve so new users need to be trained a bit to use this tool more effectively. The system can get slow when the number of assets increases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SN ITAM allows us to view our hardware and software licensing assets onto a single dashboard, similar to the ones we use for ITSM, allowing us a seamlessness of experience. While not pathbreaking, it helps us keep track of spends and cost optimizations across our hardware and SaaS licenses Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ServiceNow IT Asset Management?

While it gets the job done, right now, it is just an Excel done better. We expect more features that can intelligently track spending so we can action these, and custom APIs for specific long term vendors to avoid manual work to onboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
