For our clients it allows them to send us work orders via the ServiceChannel portal. We are able to keep all warranty items in one place for all clients that use the system which is nice.

 ### 7. Great sales pitch, platform and marketplace impossible to use.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom S. | Chief Development Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2025

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

Service Channel is theory is a great platform that makes it seem like it would be an easy way to manage your facility repairs.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

Once using the platform - it simply doesn't work. Current vendors did not want to join service channel as it was very difficult and they didn't want to deal with checking in, checking out, etc.. No problem we figured, we can turn to their marketplace - however that didn't work either as none of the vendors accept any invites, even after getting a push from SC.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceChannel has only created more problems!

**Official Response from Beth Corbett:**

> We appreciate your feedback and recognize that, as with all facilities management platforms, it does take time and effort to onboard providers. We offer a variety of solutions—from automated FM software plus our Provider Marketplace up to fully hands-on Managed Services—which help multi-site business operators achieve and accelerate the full power and value of the ServiceChannel platform. We remain committed to working closely with both our subscribers and providers to continuously refine and expand those offerings to address their toughest challenges.

For my use, sometimes it's difficult to select all of the filters I need to view all the work orders for my customer.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceChannel allows me to view work orders for stores without having to contact them directly, making the process easy to monitor on my end while preventing the store from being continuously contacted about the status of their work orders.

 ### 10. ServiceChannel from User POV

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandie S. | Billing, HR & Compliance Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2023

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

I like the organization of the dashboard, the filters & that everything is in 1 spot. I also like the email reminders that are sent out when an ETA is missed, need to invoice, etc.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

It's not very user-friendly overall. Our Client had a training for us to learn about SC and it was so long and detailed that nothing much is retained by the learner.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SC helps us keep all service/warranty requests from this client in one spot; it allows the correct people access so that no service/warranty requests slip through the cracks. Contacting those that need to be involved on our client's end is more manageable. It keeps photos and timelines in one spot and easily accessible for all involved.

 ### 11. ServiceChannel Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

I like that is has advanced reporting that shows how much spend per trade, vendor, and over time. This is useful to see where work orders and spend is concentrated.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

I do not like that the interface has multiple data fields. As a new user it is more complex than some of the other work order management platforms that are out there.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceChannel is helping solve issues with vendors, repairs, and maintenance. Without a centralize work order platform there would not be a streamlined way to receive, review, dispatch, and manage work orders.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2022

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

Nothing. This software is incredibly annoying.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

My company provides a service to a group that requires us to use this software. It is incredibly annoying. It constantly sends you emails. It makes you update your insurance. When you try to update your insurance, it's incredibly picky with HOW you submit it. It constantly rejects your insurance then it tells you that your invoicing is disabled. On top of all that, it charges MY COMPANY to submit invoices. Horrible. I would NEVER recommend Fixxbook. In fact, I would encourage people to use ANYTHING else.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has not solved any problem. Instead, it makes me do double the work.

 ### 20. Easy to access on multiple channels!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

I have used this primarily for invoices so I can't speak about every aspect of ServiceChannel but I really like the fact that I can use it on the desktop and then switch to my phone if I need to check something quickly

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

Since I only really use ServiceChannel for one thing it's difficult to say what I dislike. I find it a bit tricky to navigate but that might just be because I don't need to use the whole program so I have not been trained on every aspect of it

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to search work orders has been super helpful

 ### 21. decent software

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2021

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

It was nice to use for checking invoices and work orders. Our facility team mainly managed it and used it on a daily basis. Our team was from a different department and mainly used it for a different purpose.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

As someone that didn't use all of its features, it was kind of confusing to navigate through the software at times. There was also limited features on the software for when the contractors put in their invoice, and they couldn't break out things correctly due to the limitations.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceChannel:**

I would recommend this software to anyone that needs to maintain their records for contracts or facility management. It was quite useful to see the invoices and work orders all in there.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used this mainly to look at invoices. It was handy as the contractors can upload their invoices , work orders into Service Channel. We also were able to see the invoices' breakdown into labor, material, tax, and others. It is a good system to go back in check months or years after if you ever need to.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2021

The Connected Contractor in Service Channel is a great feature.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

It takes a while to fill out the profile appropriately.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing all of my contractors

 ### 24. Very easy to manage Service Requests

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2020

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

Easy to view and manage requests and get updates about your repair requests. You can have multiple vendors for each category which helps you get the best rates and quicker service. I like that I can set up a preferred vendor as well. There are tons of options for reports and analytics which as well.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

Vendors have to choose to use Servicechannel and i have noticed that many smaller local vendors are reluctant to use. I've heard feedback that the onboarding and training process for vendors needs to be easier to allow for smaller vendors with less resources the ability to use servicechannel.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceChannel:**

Take the time to go through the training offered and reach out to support with questions. Servicechannel provides great support and training when you need it

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Follow up with vendors is easier and less time consuming. Gone are the days of having to call a vendor and ask for updates. I can even use the mobile app to log on and view upsated statuses and all my maintenance and repairs.

 ### 25. Service Channel Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2020

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

I'm in the tax dept. and we collaborate with our facilities team for use tax purposes on this software. I think what I like best about this software program is that you can easily accrue use tax for all the invoices that vendors put in the system. It is great to have instead of manually having to look at each invoice and accrue the necessary use tax.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

Nothing in particular, maybe sometimes things can become inaccurate for taxes in our cases. We use Avalara tax engine to implement tax codes and sometimes the tax codes are limited.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceChannel:**

Good overall software!

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to accrue any use tax for our company. it is helpful for our facilities department because I know they work with a lot of vendors and it helps manages all their vendors and information all in one place - such as a vendor profile. This helps solve use tax problems in my case. I know it helps solve facilities department a lot of problems with their vendors and all the vendors that they may have to handle. This is a great software overall and I would definitely recommend this to others that may need to use this for facility management.

 ### 26. Junk

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2021

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

Client where I do not have to use Fixxbook. Junk!

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

As a service provider, I am forced to used this for a client. Not only does it double my work, they charge me a fee everytime I send an invoice when i could email it for free. HATED IT!

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceChannel:**

Dont use it.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am increasing the cost of labor so FixxBook fixes nothing.

 ### 27. SUPER helpful in my day to day

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tatiana T. | Retail Facilities Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2016

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

Everything about my job is so much easier with this platform. Mobile access, access to data, transparency

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

Database can slowdown throughout the day.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceChannel:**

Manuals or guides for new users

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing budgets. Keeping everyone on the same page

 ### 28. If you want to lose excellent vendors, use this platform!

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2019

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

There are not any that I am aware of from a Vendor's perspective.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

Customer service is absolutely horrific. They treat you like you need them and you FEEL that every time you run into an issue (which is often with their poor platform). Number 1 issue, their customer service is terrible. Try it, you will see how much extra effort/time/money it costs you to operate through this system.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NONE. Not an exaggeration. It is terrible. Top notch vendors will not deal with portals like this, period. They don't have to. Maybe desperate companies will jump through all the hoops and deal with substantial delays in payments and no one to assist.

 ### 29. Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2019

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

You can keep track of all work orders on one platform.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

Some vendors and locations are not using it, hence you have to email/call to make app.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The time/date function for work dates can be better so that you can send time/date requests and accept them on the platform instead of trying to sort a time out outside of it.

 ### 30. Extremely user friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2019

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

Ease of work order lookup. Simple to write and email notes. Can be integrated with other facilities software to auto accept orders.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

Pauses in service. Sometimes the server gets busy. Need to delete cookies often.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Excellent for communication purposes and entering bids

 ### 31. Service Channel transformed the way we do business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** shannon m. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2018

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

The ease, flexibility, transparency and efficiency

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

The fee structure has changed making it a bit more challenging when purchasing different options.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceChannel:**

If you are looking to save time, money and hold your vendors accountable this is the product for you.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vendor accountability, lack of reporting and visibility into the budgets. The benefits have been endless. we now have analytics and can report on our spend. The vendors are now reacting quickly to calls due to the accountability and tracking through the IVR. The mobile app has allowed our DM's to log in and track issues within the stores at anytime, any place. The app has given me more flexibility as I can now approve proposals and invoices on the fly. We love how SC continues to evolve and look forward to the journey.

 ### 32. It was Okay

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2018

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

Meeting others to collaborate on better formats I can use for my business, and trying to come up with a overall best practice for others.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

As I attended the first conference in 2017 the anticipation was high, and it was a little disappointing to see some of the same things that was discussed before, are still in a "what do you think we should do" status than an actual resolution. Some things that were discussed were still not creating a easier process and still needed to be reviewed.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceChannel:**

I would definitely recommend to any others to use because it can really make things simple, transparent, and manageable.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Service Channel has been a huge asset providing visibility to all in regards to our branches. It has helped us streamline and continue to streamline processes including and avenue to keep track of the Compliance of our Vendors, which is helpful to other departments within our company.

 ### 33. Suggest with ServiceChannel Software Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2018

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

Providing a means (platform) for our branches to engage, communicate and track their repair and maintenance issues from start to finish on one platform. .

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

Although improvements are being made to the software, at times the system can be slow and cumbersome ... not as "user friendly" for providers and associates in the field. There are some controls that should be allowed to make changed in the system by our team (as administrator) instead of sending in a ticket to client support.

One constant complaint we receive from the field has been around calling into support and not understanding the person on the support team due to the heavy foreign accent. This remains to be an issue.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceChannel:**

Work closely with your CSM and support associates, ask questions, and voice your opinion IF there may be a better approach with the software configuration.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now our focus is surveying and loading our critical assets, and others. Not knowing what assets we have has been a huge issue, especially when it comes to forecasting and budgeting. Now that we have begun to gather this information we can start thinking about future plans to use other financial modules that ServiceChannel provides. Knowing how much spend on leased location equipment will help our Real Estate team when it comes to renewing leases and leverage during re-negotiations.

Service Channel conference was very infromative and valuable. As we ae learning this process for our Compnay. I was very happy with the way we were able to express our concerns with the Genius squad and also by the profound given dediacation of some of the employees of Servicechannel to take time to answer our concerns and issues.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2018

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

ServiceChannel customers are desperate because most vendors treat them like lepers. We can charge 2x our normal rates and they don't bat an eye.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

No one will deal with ServiceChannel and my employees threatened to quit if I stick them with it. So I'm stuck doing this on my Saturdays. I called in for tech support and she hangs up on me after insinuating that I'm upset. I may dislike bad software but my disgust had no emotion attached, I assure you (at least, it didn't until she disconnected the call). So add bad tech support to the list of things I hate about ServiceChannel.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceChannel:**

Get ready to spend a ton more to your vendors because vendors don't tolerate this garbage without a fee...

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ServiceChannel allows us to do business with those who call us desperately seeking support because all of their prior vendors won't tolerate ServiceChannel.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlined work order process

 ### 47. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR VENDORS DON'T USE THIS PROGRAM.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2017

**What do you like best about ServiceChannel?**

All the functions that this program has is great, but it is only as good as the information that is entered. If you are looking for good feedback from technicians or your vendors then I would NEVER recommend this program.

**What do you dislike about ServiceChannel?**

Where do I start.......tech support is the worst I've ever dealt with. It is an American "based" company with overseas outsourced tech support . You might want to educate your support staff on weather patterns to the customers that they are speaking with. The software from a tech perspective, remember those are the ones that will be uploading the majority of your information, is cumbersome to be civilized. Invoicing is a NIGHTMARE! We have had "jobs" created for us to do in this system only to have them combined, by our customers request, only to have ServiceChannel request the project invoices. The customer closes the request, we the vendor apply notes to the work order generated and yet 3 months in a row I get requests to apply invoices to the work order.

**Recommendations to others considering ServiceChannel:**

DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. We are a vendor and utilize so many other programs. PICK ANY ONE BUT THIS ONE. I had asked to months from ServiceChannel to send me a link to supply feedback to them. The statement I would get, "was at the end of a closed service tech request a survey option is provided". We have had many closed service tech requests and not once was there a survey option sent. I have had to search out to find this one to hopefully others not utilize this system.

**What problems is ServiceChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The end user is able to see the status of the projects/work orders along the entire process. If you like simplicity along the rest of the process (remembering the data is only as good as it is entered and if your vendor finds the system cumbersome you will not be receiving the best data), this is diffidently not the program to use. We are a National company and there is not one branch office that wishes to continue to accept customers that utilize ServiceChannel. There are a number of branches that currently turn away GOOD business because the amount of time this "program" takes to get paid. Oh and don't start me on the fact that the vendors are charged a fee for to bill our client. Who do you think picks up that added cost?

**Official Response from Stacy Nicholas:**
