What do you like best about Screencastify?

1. Screencastify is very easy to use in terms of recording and editing the video.

2. It provides good quality video recordings.

What do you dislike about Screencastify?

The ease of use with Screencastify is unsurpassed. It is a Google browser extension that makes creating screencasts, webinars, and videos beyond simple. Now, there is a built-in editing platform that takes these videos to the next level! And the fact that everything saves directly to Google drive is the icing on the cake. "SO Helpful for demoing products"

What do you like best about Screencastify?

I like how convenient the software is to use, that I didn't have to download anything for it to work and that you can upload your screencasts to Google Drive. I also like that the software feels easy enough for a beginner to learn to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've only used Screencastify in Chrome, and I'm not 100% certain it works in other browsers, but that could be a dislike for many people. Some populations aren't fans of Chrome, and they may prefer to use Screencastify in a different web browser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Screencastify solving and how is that benefiting you?

With Screencastify, I can make perfect screen recordings for both my day job and my own business. I'm able to take screenshots and record my screen while including my cursor, which isn't possible in native Windows. "Screencastify for Schools"

What do you like best about Screencastify?

Screencastify is one of those tools that gives you a lot of options when used. You get a lot with the free version. You can record your screen, add in a Webcam image of yourself, do some minor editing, and everything is saved directly to your Google Drive. With the paid version you can even get a bigger time limit and Screencastify edit, which allows you to edit your recording, add titles/text, insert images, etc. When your all done you simply share the link or dinwload the file. What do you dislike about Screencastify?

Nothing! This has been one of those tools that you need to use in education. As a Chrome extension, it is simple to install and use anywhere in the web. The only catch is you get 5 total recording minutes with the free version but if you pay for it then you can get unlimited time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Screencastify solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Covid, Schools have been trying to flip learning and have students learn more before coming Tinton class so that when in class, the teacher can spend more time gping into depth, or delivering hands-on activities. Screencastify has helped that. Teachers can create learning videos on any topic they want, have an entire presentation in the background along with their FaceTime camera so students can see the teacher and easily share the link to it or post it in a doc. But teachers can also do how-to or guided tutorials. Now with Covid, teachers need a way to help those students that are learning virtually and this is a great way to personalize it for those students. What do you like best about Screencastify?

Screencastify is simple enough that everyone I work with can figure it out, and unlike several other lightweight solutions, it allows editing of what has been recorded. It's still pretty basic but has enough more tools that everyone chooses it unless they need something very advanced and expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's not super fancy, but that's not a dislike, really.

Also, I use the free version, so I don't like the limit, but that's because I'm cheap. :)
