I engaged Scout Talent for their recruitment marketing support to maximise our attraction strategy in a role I had experienced trouble reaching the ideal candidate.
I found the service and support to be exceptional. The assistance with attraction marketing and the support creating the best job advert for our recruitment objectives was fast and professional.
I had more candidates than I had ever had for similar roles and of the quality I was seeking. The cost was a fraction of agency recruitment. This arrangement is perfect for people seeking assisatnce with the attraction of quality candidates where you're happy to do your own interviews and ref checks. Well worth it in my opionin. Every recruitment software has pros and cons about the actual configuration. For me, it was just about learning to use a new platform for this role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We appreciate controlling the candidate's information in our applicant tracking system and integrating with Indeed for our hiring campaigns. We use the questionnaires and document uploads to accelerate onboarding and set up automated email templates to assist with the process. Overall a great ATS at a reasonable price. There are other ATS systems out there with more features and some of the setup items can be manual however the Scout Talent folks are very friendly and responsive. We enjoy working with a Canadian business like ourselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The program is quite easy to navigate. I easy to sort and filter candidates that have been reviewed or contact. I like that you can change the status of a candidate on the list screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do find it a bit cumbersome that resumes need to be downloaded to review as that is the first thing I look at. More information is provided that I require, ie I do not need to see an IP address from the candidate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I personally only use the ATS: Recruit. Its very easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could grant some users access to certain applications myself without having to reach out to Scout to do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes trying to find existing jobs, if I don't know the exact title can be a little hard to locate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When running multiple campaigns, I like being able to quickly check if an applicant applied to more than one posting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not the software but the process needed: It's essential to have a convo with the hiring team to understand how statuses and categories will be used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything is in one place. I don't have o go back and forth between programs, I can create tasks, make notes. All in the one spot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I want to be able to search in jobs and then go back and forth through the list until I find what I am looknig for without having to re-do the search every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having an interviewer that understands our business and probes the way that we would if we were doing it on our own.
I feel that they listen to us and respond to issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the rating isn't done as quickly as it should be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Prior to using Recruit all our job adverts and applications were done manually. Applications were received via email and sharing them to panel members was time consuming and hard to do. Recruit has streamlined our adverts and applications to one central place and made reviewing applications so much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that I would suggest to improve this is to have additional job websites listed and be able to tick boxes on where you want to advertise. With Recruit you still need to go to multi-posting and post your advert to Seek (it does copy your advert from Recruit so you don't need to re-type it) but then you also need to use ibidu to post to other websites (indeed, ethical jobs etc). This is additional time.
I would also like the ability to retain information for Seek blurb and bullet points as these dont copy over from previous jobs and you cannot select from previous blurbs or bullet points - you have to create these new each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
