## Bullhorn Reviews
 ### 1. Efficient Talent Pool Management with Bullhorn

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nida N. | Talent Acquisition Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

I use Bullhorn for sourcing, calling, and maintaining talent pools for hiring people. I love the Boolean search and the auto-build search. If there is any niche requirement, the feature of auto-build search helps in sourcing relevant candidates, and with Boolean search, I obviously get to filter a good pool. The initial setup was super easy; though it took some training to help me go through the search and all, it was smooth.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

The search criteria could be made more user-friendly. There are a lot of search options, and sometimes it just messes with the search.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bullhorn for sourcing, calling, and maintaining talent pools, which helps in candidate tracking, sourcing for relevant jobs, longlisting, and job updates. The auto-build search feature aids in sourcing niche candidates while Boolean search filters a good pool of candidates.

 ### 2. Essential CRM for Organized Recruiting

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Esra S. | Senior Business Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2017

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

I like using Bullhorn because it helps me keep all communication documented in one spot, which is really useful. It's my go-to tool and I rely on it every day. It helps me stay organized by allowing me to know what clients I'm reaching out to, track which client contracts are ending, and see what needs to be completed. I also find it helpful for sales and as a contact manager because I deal with a lot of people. I appreciate being able to put in tasks and set specific dates to keep track of what I need to do without having to dig around. Even though I don't use reminders due to the sheer number of tasks, I like that it keeps me on top of things by reminding me of important tasks, like when I need to call someone I intended to follow-up with.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

I don't know if it's just my company doesn't use the sales portion of it where we can see where things are in the sales process for our funnel and our pipeline. I do know it's a feature that's available as I have used it at past companies. I think that's a feature by feature that we don't pay for.

**Recommendations to others considering Bullhorn:**

Train your teams. The system can provide you a ton of information but if you are not all following the same standard, your progress can be difficult to determine.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I live with my CRM, Bullhorn. It keeps all communication documented in one spot and tells me when to move to the next task, streamlining client outreach and contract management.

 ### 3. Great but Clunky

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

I like the organization. I like the UI and the layout. I also like the ability to click the LinkedIn button on the profile and it'll search LinkedIn the for the person. I also like TextKernel

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

It's slow even with cleared cache and cookies. That might be my organization though since I'm not sure if we use the most updated version. I also don't like that it logs me out in an hour but I understand that's safety. I also dislike how I can't search for Candidate Ratings in the candidate tab.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to find candidates from a group of 100,000+ in our system. The parsing from applications is also great. We struggled to keep our resumes organized but now we can do that so we can find candidates more easily.

 ### 4. Versatile Tool with Powerful Automations and Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

So many ways to utilize it for a candidate pipeline, activity with active candidates, reminders, organization. Many integrations for back office processes. Many automations for your pipeline / candidates. Very easy to navigate and use the different tabs. Customizable query builds for the information you need. I use BH daily.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

On occasion will force you to close out and reset. BH team is very good about getting and keeping the system in working order. When you log out, it doesnt save where you left off. You have to repull all the tabs you may have had up.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization of thousands and thousands of caregivers that we work through the pipeline. Organizes and structures all 1300 active contracts.

 ### 5. Easy Navigation and Lightning-Fast Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach D. | Financial Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Very easy to navigate and create reports that run in seconds, instead of having to construct them manually.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

It can sometimes take a long time to load or glitch out, which makes me rerun a report multiple times.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to keep all of our consultants’ data in one place makes it easy to access that information whenever we need it.

 ### 6. Great Support and Integrations, but Flexibility and AI Feel Behind

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Bullhorn's support team is very nice and knowledgable. They have upgrades and updates regularly and support a lot of integrations with partners

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

Bullhorn seems to be behind the curve when it comes to flexibility, customizability outside of their paid services. They are also starting to leverage AI across their tools and some of they aren't quite equipped to do so. There seems to continue to be competing interest between updating the platform and updating something into a new product to sell

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn is our CRM/ATS - it holds all our data
It does what is advertised and needed out of a CRM

 ### 7. Bullhorn Streamlines Recruitment with Comprehensive Candidate Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richa S. | LeadTalent Acquisition Specialist, Staffing and Recruiting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Bullhorn is a great Recruiting and Staffing Software. The best part is that we can keep all kind of database in bullhorn which we do on a daily basis. It keeps a great track of candidate, candidate complete profile, submissions, interviews, placements and many more data it can hold of our candidates. I can put note in bullhorn to make the candidate exclusive from whole organization so that if one candidate is in interview process, no one else can submit that to other positions. Bullhorn also keeps the track of candidates like when that candidate was entered in Bullhorn, when he has submitted, when he has got placed, when he has been interviewed and how many times someone has submitted that candidate. Also, the complete profile we can enter of candidate, like address, email, contact, location, visa status, sourced portal etc.
we can also look at our activities of past many years. we can directly get the whole report of different teams. We can also search candidate with a Boolean search, with so many filters according to our need.
With Bullhorn, my recruitment process gets better each day.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

There is no dislike of Bullhorn which I see as I am using Bullhorn from past 5+ years in my organization. The only thing i feel sometimes that's its little slow when we open and find things.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn is saving lot many problems, with Bullhorn I can search candidate directly without going to various portals. I can keep daily record of my candidates. I can directly see the new requisition we came across from different client.

 ### 8. Review for Bullhorn

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rakesh J. | Sr. US IT Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

The Bullhorn is a one of the ATS systems. It is ease to use & implementation. It is useful for customer support. We can integrate the multiple job portals in the Bullhorn. there are so many features in the Bullhorn. in 2021, The bullhorn was on top ATS among three ATS.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

The bullhorn is slow as compare to another ATS systems. It is ease to use but it is expensive. and It has a performance issues. that's why it will effects the productivity of the organizations. Many users report slow, inconsistent, or unhelpful customer support and account management, which makes resolving issues frustrating.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruitment often involves juggling spreadsheets, email threads, job boards, candidate profiles, and client notes. It make the recruitment faster. we can do mass mails to so many candidates at the same time. we can store the candidate the data for futures. we can make the database for our company with helping the bullhorn. we can put the notes for the candidate which is visible to all employees of the company.

 ### 9. Its a solid platform and has a lot of feature

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim L. | V, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

It integrates with a lot of other tools. It makes it easy to document our calls with Ring central, it is user friendly and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

There are many features that do not work correctly and when approached, the response is that they are working as designed with no intent to correct. All customizations are expensive.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our ATS so it literally houses all our clients and candidates. It is a critical tool in our business.

 ### 10. Thorough, Stable ATS with Enterprise-Ready Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie C. | Lead Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

It's a thorough ATS system that is ideal for enterprise recruitment agencies to use. There are lots of features that are beneficial. It is stable. It's fairly easy to use. There is customer support.
I use Bullhorn daily.
It easily integrates with other tools but does not have enough integrations.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

It has trouble picking up minute differences in information, the 1 at the start of a phone number sequence trips up searching, or periods in an email.
There isn't enough field customization and there are duplications of data entry.
There are not enough integrations, specifically with Mixmax.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applicant Tracking.

 ### 11. Streamlined Recruiting but Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bri L. | Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Bullhorn makes it much easier to keep candidate and client information organized in one place. The ability to track the full recruiting process is a huge time saver, and the reporting tools give helpful insight into performance. While there is a bit of a learning curve and reporting could be more customizable, overall, it’s a reliable and effective ATS/CRM.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

The system can be slow to load at times. Occasional glitches or lag when searching or updating records. Mobile app doesn’t always offer the same functionality as desktop.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn helps us keep candidate and client information centralized, which saves time and reduces errors. The system automates many of the repetitive recruiting tasks, so we can focus more on building relationships. Having reporting and dashboards also gives us better visibility into performance and helps us make smarter decisions. Overall, it’s improved our efficiency and allowed us to provide better service to both clients and candidates.

 ### 12. Most User Friendly ATS I've ever used!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hana A. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

My favorite thing about bullhorn is how easy it is to navigate. I enjoy being able to have multiple tabs open, being able to pin tabs, and having all my analytics available for me in one easy to read tab. I use bullhorn everyday all day as it is a core part of my job. It is a safe haven for recruiters!

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

At times bullhorn will crash or certain features will stop working, this can be fixed by simply refreshing the page, but sometimes it can be frustrating if you're trying to multitask.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn tracks all of my KPIs, Metrics and just general recruiting numbers. This is great, because otherwise I would have to keep track of all these things myself. It can be as specific or as broad as you want and it's wonderful!

 ### 13. Bullhorn ATS Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hammad M. | Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Advanced search and filtering options that make sourcing the right candidates from the database quick and accurate.

Easy profile submission and tracking that saves time and keeps the client submission process smooth.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

Interface is not as good as Diva, Need some improvements on UI / UX side.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn ATS is an efficient and user-friendly applicant tracking system that streamlines my daily recruiting activities. I use it extensively for end-to-end recruitment tasks, including sourcing candidates, managing a centralized database, screening resumes, and submitting profiles to clients. Its intuitive interface, advanced search filters, and quick profile submission features make it easy to keep track of candidates and hiring workflows. The platform’s ability to store detailed candidate histories and communication logs also ensures better follow-ups and relationship management.

Two things I like most about Bullhorn:

Advanced search and filtering options that make sourcing the right candidates from the database quick and accurate.

Easy profile submission and tracking that saves time and keeps the client submission process smooth.

 ### 14. Excellent Time & Expense Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea L. | Recruiting Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

We’ve been using Bullhorn Time & Expense for our employees, and it has made managing timecards and payroll so much easier. The system is user-friendly, with a clean interface that’s simple for both employees and administrators to navigate. Submitting, approving, and tracking time is quick and efficient, which helps us keep payroll accurate and on schedule.

The reporting options are extensive, giving us clear, customizable insights into our workforce and payroll data. Customer support has also been excellent—responsive, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. The platform has streamlined our processes, reduced errors, and saved us valuable time every week. Highly recommend for any business looking for a reliable and efficient timekeeping solution!

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

Some employees experience occasional issues clocking in and out on the mobile app, and the geofencing feature can be a bit inconsistent at times.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn Time & Expense has made life so much easier. We’re not chasing timesheets or fixing payroll mistakes anymore—it’s quick, accurate, and keeps everyone on the same page. The reporting is awesome (almost too many options to choose from), and it’s great to finally have clear insight into labor costs and trends. Our team likes how simple it is to clock in, submit hours, and track approvals, and I like that payroll gets done faster with fewer headaches.

 ### 15. Operations Support Specialist

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra G. | Operations Support Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

What I like best about Bullhorn is how it streamlines the entire onboarding and placement process. Since I handle these steps regularly, having all the information in one place from candidate profiles and documents to placement details and communication history makes my work much more efficient. I can easily track progress, update statuses in real time, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. The ability to quickly access candidate histories and placement records not only saves time but also helps provide a smoother, more professional experience for both the candidate and the client.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

What I dislike or find inconvenient about Bullhorn is that our onboarding process still has to be heavily tailored for each vendor. We’re not only onboarding IC contractors and W-2 employees, but also subvendors, which means sending onboarding documents through email, then downloading and re-uploading all candidate records into Bullhorn. On top of that, we have to create the vendor under a candidate record, which adds extra manual steps that could be streamlined.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn solves the problem of keeping all candidate and placement information centralized and organized. Instead of tracking details across spreadsheets, email chains, and separate systems, I can manage onboarding, placement status, and communication history in one place. This benefits me by saving time, reducing errors, and allowing me to quickly see where each candidate is in the process. It also helps me provide a smoother experience for candidates, clients, and vendors because I can respond faster and keep the process moving without losing important details.

 ### 16. Bullhorn has been very reliable, fast, and easy to work with since I started using it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jackson V. | Account Manager RPh on the Go, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

What I like best about Bullhorn is how easy it makes it to stay on top of everything. It keeps all my notes, emails, and candidate details in one place. Also, Bullhorn was easy to implement and integrate with our existing systems. I appreciate the wide range of features, responsive customer support, and how smoothly it fits into my daily workflow. I use it frequently because it’s very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

It has a lot of features, which can feel a bit overwhelming at first. Once you learn everything, it is very easy to use on a daily basis.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems Bullhorn is helping me solve and the way it’s benefiting me: it’s been helping me keep track of all my candidates and job openings without getting overwhelmed. Instead of looking through emails and spreadsheets, everything’s organized in one place, which saves me a lot of time. It makes it easier to find the right pharmacists and techs quickly and keeps me on top of where every candidate is in the process. Also, I can view past notes and see exactly where each candidate is at while trying to fill a job order.

 ### 17. Easy CRM program!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah B. | Account Exective, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Bullhorn has been one of the easiest CRM's i have used, finding leads and clients hasn't been smoother. I love the amount of options i am able to control to find certain candidates for example, in the resume tab. I use bullhorn everyday but still learning someone new. I love the metrics page as well.

I had a problem with a candidates profile disappearing but their customer support and IT was about to work on it quickly.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

Job posting was super confusing at first, having to go to the job publishing tab to actually send it out. Though once getting the hang of it, i enjoyed that i was able to just make a copy and change little details like the city and post it out to get more attraction.

Bullhorn can work a little slow sometimes when having a lot of tabs open and then you have to go in and clear your Cashe and history.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

being to able to find the warm leads that still might be on the job market instead of going down a list of people that i dont know how long they have been in our system.

 ### 18. Easy to use. Working in a collaborative team, it helps to keep track of everything going on.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harry B. | Business Manager - Food & Beverage Manufacturing , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Very simple system to use in terms of candidate & client tracking with touchpoints tracked across the team. Our team have multiple members engaging with the same clients so it's beneficial to be able to see recent communication etc quickly and easily.

It's simple to implement and work with extensions the business also uses to track metrics & performances.

I use it daily & it massively reduces the admin workload through the integration systems they have in place. Our customer support has always been there if we have issues too.

Harry Barker
Business Manager - CSG Talent
Harry.Barker@CSGTalent.com

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

The business development tools require very clean data to deliver good quality but equally that is probably more down to our usage of the system.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it in partnership with Cube 19 to track metrics as well as client and candidate interactions which are quite automated so we save a lot of time in this area.

Our team is very collaborative so it likely benefits our relationship quality with customers who we engage with regularly too which is probably something not often considered but is a very useful benefit only possible due to how simple the system is to use.

 ### 19. Overall Great Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabby P. | Business Development Representative, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Bullhorn has been a great one stop shop for all things recruiting and current clients. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to manage the entire recruiting lifecycle—from tracking candidate pipelines to keeping up with client communications—all in one place. The reporting features help me make data-driven decisions quickly. The integrations with other tools have streamlined my workflow, saving time and reducing errors. Plus, their customer support team is responsive and genuinely invested in helping you succeed. Bullhorn has truly become an indispensable part of our recruiting process.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

No sure if this is my internal IT problem, but once in a while I can synced out of my account for the Sourecbreaker function.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn has solved the challenge of juggling multiple systems for candidate tracking, client management, and communication. Everything is centralized, candidate information, client history, job orders, and communication logs, making it easy to find what we need instantly. This has improved our team collaboration, reduced duplicate work, and allowed us to respond to clients and candidates much faster. It’s helped us close roles more efficiently and deliver a better experience to everyone we work with.

 ### 20. A Bullhorn Review From a New Hire

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mimi T. | Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

I just recently started my position and I have used Bullhorn collectively for about 1 1/2 months! I have no previous experience working for a staffing company prior to starting. Here are my takeaways:

1. Candidates and clients all in one spot! - easy to manage and track everything at work!

2.I like how you can click on the phone number to easily call and/or text the candidate and/or client! - this goes for emailing as well!

3. Tear sheets!

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

1. Job posting was a little confusing to me at first. I was confused why there were so many hoops to jump around and sometimes I will forget to go back in and actually publish the job haha. I just wish this was more streamlined.

2. When adding in a new candidate, 9/10 I would forget to add in their phone number because it wasn't mandatory to complete their profile. Phone calls are important in getting better placements so I would appreciate if you made this mandatory in order to complete their profile!

3. Not necessarily a con but I was confused why sometimes the profile I was previously viewing would replace a new profile I was looking at (whether it was on the candidate side or the client side) until I saw a colleague more senior than me pin the profile!

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn helps me keep track of candidates and clients in one place, which makes managing my workload easier. Even in the short time I’ve been using it, it’s helped me stay organized and on top of things

 ### 21. Efficient and Reliable Recruiting Platform with Room for Small Tweaks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fearghal O. | Business Development Executive | Metric Geo | General Contractor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Bullhorn has been an essential tool in streamlining our recruitment process. The interface is intuitive, candidate tracking is efficient, and integrations with LinkedIn Recruiter and email make it easy to manage the entire hiring pipeline in one place. Reporting features give great visibility into team performance, and the automation tools save us hours each week. Highly recommend for staffing and recruiting professionals looking for a reliable, scalable CRM/ATS solution

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

Overall great system, though certain tasks can take a few extra clicks, and search results aren’t always perfectly precise. A bit of streamlining in navigation would make it even better

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn streamlines candidate tracking, communication, and job order management, allowing us to keep all recruiting activities in one centralized platform. This improves team collaboration, speeds up response times, and ensures we maintain a clear history of interactions with both clients and candidates, ultimately making the hiring process more efficient and organized.

 ### 22. Bullhorn is the best!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maya L. | Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Bullhorn has been an excellent tool in streamlining my recruitment workflow—it’s intuitive, fast, and built with recruiters in mind. From tracking candidates and managing client relationships to automating daily tasks, Bullhorn helps me stay organized and efficient. The integration with email and LinkedIn, etc is seamless, and the reporting features offer valuable insights into performance. Overall, it’s a reliable and powerful ATS that I’d highly recommend to any recruiting professional.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

Bullhorn offers powerful tracking and CRM tools, but it often feels cumbersome—search can be unforgiving (one mistyped character and it fails to find your candidate), and the interface often lags or feels outdated. Reporting is limited, basic, and rarely saveable without paid add-ons, and setup/customization—like private records or contract flexibility—can be frustrating, especially for smaller teams locked into rigid pricing tiers or backend limitations; overall, it sometimes slows rather than streamlines recruiting workflows.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn streamlines the recruitment process by integrating applicant tracking and client relationship management into a single platform. It automates repetitive tasks, centralizes candidate and client data, and enhances communication through seamless email integration. This consolidation reduces manual effort, accelerates time-to-fill, and improves overall recruiter productivity. With AI-powered features and real-time analytics, Bullhorn empowers recruitment teams to make data-driven decisions and maintain stronger client relationships.

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

As a recruiter, we use Bullhorn as an Applicant Tracking System and out account manager utilize it as a CRM. Bullhorn is easy to use and easy to be productive on. It integrates well without our company software, texting, and email systems all in one. Adding candidates is a breeze and keeping track of their text messages, emails, and other communications is easy. You can add files, resumes, etc and also make notes on candidate profiles. You can add tasks if you need to follow up with will remind you via email. BH will also keep track of all candidate applications to any posted job in the company and will keep track of any and all emails, texts, etc so you can know what the candidates are doing.

We use Bullhorn all day everyday, so the fact that it us user friendly is the best part. From adding candidates, to keeping track of interviews, then offers and placements, Bullhorn gets the job done. Without it, I'm not sure we could use anything else so intuitive and well made. If I had any issues in the past their support team always resolves it quickly!

Finally Bullhorn has plenty of filter and options for tracking and reporting. We can pull basically any report on any metric we want and can see other employees metrics in our organization as well, to keep track of how we are doing vs others. Additionally they have added new AI tools to help us which are awesome!

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

To me I dont really see any downsides of Bullhorn at this time. It works very well for everything I need.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of having mutiple systems. Bullhorn can do everything in one place, such as candidate applications, emails, text messages, AI co-pilot, candidate reminders, etc.

What I like best about Bullhorn is how seamlessly it streamlines my entire recruiting workflow—from lead generation to placement. The ability to track candidates, clients, and communications all in one place saves me an incredible amount of time and keeps everything organized. I especially love the automation features—being able to set follow-up reminders, automate emails, and manage tasks has made my process much more efficient. It helps me stay ahead of deadlines and maintain strong relationships with both candidates and clients. For fast-paced recruiting at Sunbelt Staffing, Bullhorn truly keeps me one step ahead.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

Nothing, bullhorn is awesome sometimes I have to refresh it one time to get it to load quicker but that's it. Worth it when you store all the information needed to be sucessful

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn is solving several key challenges I face as a recruiter at Sunbelt Staffing—especially around organization, time management, and data tracking. Before using Bullhorn, juggling multiple spreadsheets, emails, and candidate notes was time-consuming and easy to mismanage. Now, everything is centralized in one platform, which means I can quickly search, track, and communicate with candidates and clients without missing a beat.

It also solves the problem of follow-up fatigue—with automated task reminders, email tracking, and pipeline visibility, I stay on top of my desk and never let high-potential leads fall through the cracks. Plus, its integration with job boards and communication tools means I can work faster and smarter.

The result? More placements, stronger relationships, and less stress. Bullhorn doesn’t just make my job easier—it helps me perform at a higher level.

 ### 28. One Stop Shop for Staffing Agencies

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin D. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

I like that Bullhorn keeps everything in one place, making it easy to track candidates, jobs, and communication history without bouncing between multiple systems. The search and filtering tools are helpful for quickly finding the right profiles, and the integration with email saves time by keeping outreach organized. Overall, it’s a solid tool for keeping the recruiting process streamlined and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

Some of the features feel a little clunky or take extra clicks to get where I need to be, and certain updates can slow things down instead of making them smoother. The search function, while useful, can be picky about keywords and sometimes misses results I know are in the system. It works well overall, but a more intuitive, faster interface would make a big difference.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn helps keep all candidate and client information organized in one central place, which cuts down on wasted time searching through emails or spreadsheets. It makes it easier to track the progress of each placement, see communication history, and manage a large number of job orders at once. Having everything connected in one system improves efficiency, reduces mistakes, and keeps the whole team on the same page.

 ### 29. Bullhorn is a great ATS and Application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amaan K. | Compliance Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

The best thing about Bullhorn is firstly the user friendly interface of the application. It is really easy to use, handle and there is ease of implementation. Secondly, I can work on many Talent profiles at the same time by pinning the profiles in the application which leads to easy switching between the profiles. Also, If I get the call from a Talent, I can just put the number on Bullhorn to check who is the Talent thereby making me easy to keep a tab on each talent.
Customer support team is also very efficient as they resolve the issue quickly.
In our case, Bullhorn is integrated with AHA compliance tool, which makes a lot more easy for us to keep a tab on every talent which makes me to use this application frequently.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

Bad thing about Bullhorn is sometimes, it becomes glitchy and it lags at the moment which makes it harder for me to switch between the talent's profile and ultimately, it leads to frustration and loss of productivity.
Also sometimes, we see some weird pattern on the left side where we have the talent profile like some inside information written in the first page which makes it difficult to identify the profiles.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think Bullhorn team is working on the glitch and lag issue and I see some improvements in that area but it has not been resolved completely yet.
Apart from that, they are also working on new areas to add some ore features in the application so that it becomes more user friendly.

 ### 30. I really enjoy using it. You can do pretty much everything you could want.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach J. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

I love the consistent updates with Bullhorn. They are always making improvements to make the experience more seamless and efficient. I also really enjoy how you can make calls or texts to people just by making one click. I find the system to be very effective, and makes my job much easier.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

When I first started, I found Bullhorn to be very complicated, and not very user-friendly. This has obviously changed over time, and I am very comfortable with Bullhorn now. Also, there tends to be quite a few times while I have been here where the connection has been very slow. The bullhorn servers seem to be not super reliable.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding candidates and clients is our main focus. Since Bullhorn pulls candidates from many different sources, there are many candidates to contact and staff. The clients are also easy to find and add notes on.

 ### 31. Best Recruiting Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John T. | Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

1. Centralized Workflow
Bullhorn does a good job of consolidating candidate, client, and job data into one ecosystem. I can view job orders, track submissions, monitor interviews, and manage placements without needing to toggle between too many tools.

2. Candidate Tracking & Submissions
The ability to parse resumes, assign candidates to jobs, and track every submission stage (especially when paired with tearsheets or distribution lists) is a big time-saver.

3. Notes & Activity Logging
Logging calls, emails, and touchpoints helps ensure that nothing falls through the cracks—especially when working across teams or handing off a lead to a recruiter.

4. Email Integration
I like that Bullhorn integrates directly with Outlook. Having visibility into email threads and the ability to log communications helps me maintain consistency with clients and candidates.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

2. Reporting Limitations
The built-in reporting is underwhelming unless you’ve got admin-level customization. As an AE, I’d love easier access to real-time dashboards that show submission ratios, pipeline velocity, or revenue projections.

3. Performance & Load Times
Bullhorn can lag during peak usage, especially when filtering tearsheets or running advanced searches. That delay adds up when you’re trying to move quickly in a fast-paced sales environment.

4. Lack of Flexibility for Territories
With Soliant shifting to a territorial model, I’ve noticed that Bullhorn doesn’t always play nice with regional assignment filters. Assignments sometimes bleed across state lines or require manual cleanup.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

managing multiple accounts.

 ### 32. Intuitive CRM with Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zoravar M. | Account Manager

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

I like that Bullhorn is a one-stop shop with an interface that's easy to use. It's one of the easiest CRMs to learn and navigate. I also find ease of learning important, as it helps me manage sales leads and pipeline efficiently with features like analytics and job opportunities.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

I think there could be decluttering of some features as not all of them come into use

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn acts as a database for clients and contractors, integrates well with other tools, and serves as our source of truth.

 ### 33. Our Experience with Bullhorn: What Works and What Doesn’t

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley H. | Production Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Bullhorn’s dedicated customer success managers are great partners. Whether it's a simple question or a more complex issue, their team is consistently responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. It’s clear they’re invested in our success—you never feel like you're left on your own.

Their integration capabilities are another major strength. Bullhorn connects easily with the other tools and platforms. It’s made a big difference in how smoothly our systems operate day to day.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

While Bullhorn has many strengths, general support response times can sometimes be a challenge. In certain cases, especially with less urgent tickets, response and resolution times have felt slower than expected. It would be great to see more consistency and quicker turnaround across all support tiers.

Additionally, while we have had success with implementation partners for specialized enhancements to Bullhorn to fit our company needs, it would be great if we had to access to do more customizations within our platform without having to use external resources, incurring additional cost.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn’s integrations with other platforms (like email and background check tools) eliminate the need to jump between systems, which improves both speed and accuracy.

 ### 34. Reliable, Easy, and a Huge Time Saver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abby R. | Applications software support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Happy to share my thoughts! Bullhorn has been a game changer for us. The platform is reliable, easy to navigate, and keeps our workflows moving without a hitch. The integrations save us a ton of time, and support has always been quick to respond whenever we’ve had questions. Definitely recommend it to any team looking for a solid, user-friendly system.

Thanks for the great service!

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

Occasional minor glitches, but nothing that slows us down.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn helps us keep everything in one place — candidate records, client info, job postings, and communications. Before, we had to jump between multiple systems, which slowed us down and caused things to slip through the cracks. Now, our team works faster, stays on the same page, and can respond to clients and candidates right away. It’s made our whole workflow smoother and a lot less stressful.

 ### 35. A reliable platform for managing onboarding and compliance from start to finish

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan A. | Compliance Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

What I like best about Bullhorn is that it brings everything related to a talent or placement into one central location. I can easily track compliance status, document uploads, communication history, and task deadlines without needing to jump between different tools. The visibility it gives across teams whether it's recruiting, compliance, or account management makes coordination much more efficient. It saves time and helps prevent things from falling through the cracks, especially when working with multiple talents at once.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

One downside of Bullhorn is that it can be slow or lag when switching between records or working across multiple tabs. Sometimes the system logs out unexpectedly, and you lose your place in a candidate file.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn helps manage the entire onboarding and compliance process in one place. It makes it much easier to track where each candidate stands, whether it’s paperwork, drug screens, or start date approvals. Before using Bullhorn, a lot of this information had to be manually tracked or followed up through email. Now I can just check a placement record and instantly see what is pending or completed. It also helps teams stay on the same page without having to constantly check in. This has definitely made the workflow smoother and helped reduce delays or missed steps.

 ### 36. Bullhorn makes

One of the most impressive aspects of Bullhorn is their commitment to continuous improvement. Their customer service team is always working proactively to enhance the user experience, and they’re incredibly responsive whenever support is needed. Whether it's onboarding new team members or integrating Bullhorn with other tools, the process is smooth and well-supported.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

While Bullhorn can occasionally experience slowdowns—likely due to the high volume of users—it’s worth noting that these instances are rare and typically short-lived. The platform’s technical team is quick to identify and resolve any performance lags, minimizing disruption to our workflow.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn solves multiple key challenges in recruiting by helping us source premium candidates, easily track performance through detailed analytics, and streamline client communication. Its job posting tools save time by distributing listings quickly, while automation features ensure consistent follow-ups that strengthen client and candidate relationships. Overall, Bullhorn boosts our efficiency and helps us deliver better results every day.

 ### 37. LOVE Bullhorn!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derek U. | BizDev Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

The functionality of Bullhorn is amazing. It is so much better than other CRMs I've used. My learning curve to master what I needed for its use in my role in business development was a couple of hours - that's it. There are more advanced functions I look forward to adopting in the future

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

I occasionally encounter problems like designating someone inactive at one company and re-inputting them at another company. The difficulty is when I try to save the new entry, it sometime fails to save. Also when I go from a company to a contact and I want to go back to the company field, I hit the back button expecting to go back to the previous field and it fails to get me there

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of my clients and all of their info and my notes on them

 ### 38. Intuitive, time saving platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaylyn T. | Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Bullhorn’s interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to manage candidates, clients, and job postings in one place. The search functionality and customizable filters save a lot of time when sourcing talent, and I appreciate how seamlessly it integrates with email and other tools. The workflow automation features also help reduce repetitive tasks so I can focus more on relationship-building. Great Customer Support, and I use it every day, all day. Very easy to implement daily.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

While the system is powerful, some reporting features feel limited without customization, and certain tasks require more clicks than necessary. The mobile app lacks some of the desktop functionality, which can make on-the-go updates trickier.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn streamlines candidate tracking, client communication, and job management in one platform, saving me time, reducing manual work, and making it easier to stay organized and responsive.

 ### 39. Very Effective for Our Needs, and Good Training

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan F. | Sales Recruiting Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

I appreciate the breadth of options and settings that you are able to personalize to meet your needs as an organization and the fact that it's flexible enough to use for multiple facets. I liked the hands on training and onboarding process, and the automations are a great tool in engaging individuals.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

The system is not the most user friendly if extensive training or explanations have not been completed, so there is a level of coaching and teaching time that needs to be built in to other users within our organization. This is just a consideration and not necessarily a negative. I will also say that sometimes the wide array of options makes it a little more time consuming to find the right one for you, but, once you do, as I said, it works quite well.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us to effectively intake names of prospects and engage with them through automations after conversion to hire. Also helps manage referrals and take effective notes.

 ### 40. BullHorn Review - 5/5 Stars!

I like that the platform is reliable and fast! Tasks like managing candidates, job posting, and communications are super simple and very user friendly. Bullhorn is the first thing I use when coming in and the last thing I use when heading out for the day.

I really like that if I forget to save a note, the platform automatically creates and saves a draft for me to come back to later.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

One small downside I have with the platform is that it can be a bit tricky to use without training. However, once you're familiar with the tools, it's a very smooth and efficient system to use!

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn is helping me stay organized and in general work more efficiently. Everything that I need is all in one place and it allows me to save time by not having to switch between different platforms. I am able to recruit and market with ease thanks to Bullhorn.

 ### 41. Bullhorn is a powerful and reliable tool that supports a wide range of recruitment activities.

I utilize different features on Bullhorn everyday. If any questions or concerns arise - I know that I can reach out to customer service and find a very quick solution. As a recruiter, Bullhorn has helped me with a plethora of tasks from candidate sourcing and relationship management to job posting and reporting. Its analytics feature offers insights through reporting and metrics. Bullhorn remains one of the best tools available for recruitment professionals.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn organizes and tracks candidates, is a resource for job posting and publishing, and offers an automated way to keep in touch with candidates and build relationships.

 ### 42. Smooth Transition to Bullhorn - FANTASTIC Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassandra W. | Information Technology Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

We have recently (within the last year) transitioned to using Bullhorn, BH Time and Expense, and Able for our recruiting system. Phase one, as many implementations do, had some speed bumps. However, the team that was assigned to our implementation was absolutely STELLAR!

They made moving to Bullhorn an easier transition and were always available for us when needed. We use Bullhorn in our every day and deploying it to our team was less stressful knowing how thorough we were during phase 1.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

There were some minor challenges with system integration that took longer than expected. There were also a few features are less intuitive than we hoped. Some integrations within Bullhorn have been a little difficult.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn ATS & CRM is solving several key problems for our recruiting process. We merged from 7 different databases into one. This was a HUGE transition for our company. It has streamlined the way we do business, made it more intuitive, and has aligned our company in a way that was very needed.

 ### 43. Bullhorn is a solid ATS that is user-friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor R. | Technology Recruiter, Staffing and Recruiting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

The actual software platform is very good and user-friendly. I only have used a handful of other ATSs but Bullhorn seems to be the most encompassing and easiest to use. As an Administrator, it's pretty simple to update fields and customize.

Support is pretty strong too and it's not often Bullhorn is down. It happens periodically but not that big of a deal. You can usually get someone on the phone when you call. We did all the time during implementation and our first year but after that you really don't need to because the software is pretty self-explanatory.

It is the biggest and most popular ATS out there for a reason. I would say back office isn't as nice as the front office ATS side, but they are trying to push you into the newer version of back office (which is expensive and we don't need). The core ATS product though is very strong.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

I only have a few main complaints- the contracts and the way private records work.
Contracts: It's SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive to be on a contract that allows you to flex down when you have less employees as you are locked in. If you add a new employee, you get locked into a higher minimum as well unless you are on the more expensive plan. This is common but the price differences is very high, and it's difficult to work with as a small recruiting firm when you're stuck paying for users that you don't have.

Private records: You can have private contact records but since you can't make a company record private, any emails sent back and forth to those private contacts are still visible in the Emails tab of the company record, which defeats the purpose. Also, tasks created in private records are visible by default which should really follow along the private status of the actual record.

Commissions can be hit or miss too, but it depends on how you do commissions at your company. It can either be very easy or very difficult if you have a customized commission plan.

Lastly, their standard reporting is from the 90s it seems. Very basic and no customization as well. You can't save reports either. To do any of this requires parting with a third party. Which is fine, I get it that they get revenue from partners, but they could do at least some sort of upgrades to their reporting.

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bullhorn tracks all candidate, contact, company, job, and placement records we have. The Tasks feature is great and one of their best because you can set tasks in any person record and even have it email you a reminder at a certain time.

 ### 44. Gus Fallah - Organized and Easy-to-Use Platform for Managing Calls

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gus F. | Account Manager Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Bullhorn makes my workday much more efficient by keeping all the companies I call, hiring managers, and consultant information in one organized and easy-to-access place. The platform is user-friendly, visually clear, and makes call list management seamless, which saves time and keeps me focused on outreach.

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

I honestly didn’t encounter any issues while using Bullhorn over the summer. The platform was straightforward, reliable, and made managing my work smooth and stress-free.

 ### 50. My experience with BullHorn has been good!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle M. | Account Exucutive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Bullhorn?**

Some of things I like about Bullhorn is how user friendly it is. There are times where it can be a little complicated, but most of the time it's user friendly for all ages. Very easy to use!

**What do you dislike about Bullhorn?**

It can get glitchy at times, along with the opt out option. I don't like that it sometimes start out with "Reply Stop to opt out" on the initial text. It can lag at times depending on how many people are using it, otherwise it's great!

**What problems is Bullhorn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some of the issues it's solving are ones the access it provides to reach out to potential candidates. I have not run into a problem other than the opt out option for the first text. It makes finding candidates easier!
