**What do you like best about Saleo?**

What I like best about Saleo is that it is simple to use and quick to set up. I can easily change images and text in demos without any technical difficulty. The platform has many useful features for customization, and I use it regularly because it saves time and improves the quality of my demos. It also works well with other tools we use, and the support team is very helpful and responsive whenever needed.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

One thing I dislike about Saleo is that sometimes it takes a little time to learn all the features at the beginning. Also, for more complex customizations, it can feel a bit limited or require extra steps. However, these issues are not major, and overall the tool works well.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saleo helps solve the problem of creating personalized demos for different customers. It allows me to customize the V2 tenant in SAP Sales and Service Cloud according to customer needs and standards. This is useful for showing relevant patterns and setting up the cloud environment in a way that matches their expectations. It saves time and makes demos more effective and realistic.

**What do you like best about Saleo?**

I use Saleo for automating data to overlay on the UI, which helps in sharing a realistic story for our customers and prospects. I like that we can share Saleo tours as demo hype or follow-up materials, which saves time and tells the right story. I also appreciate the clickpath tour feature, which we recently used to show how our product works at a sales conference. It provides a repeatable motion for prospects to see the end-to-end workflow of a product.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

Sometimes Saleo is not working appropriately, which can be challenging when trying to keep up with fast product changes. Also, initially, our team overcomplicated the setup, requiring a significant effort from our strategy team.

**What do you like best about Saleo?**

Since my last review, one of the most positive developments has been the improvement in Saleo Capture. Features like text replacement across a tour, similar to Saleo Live, make it much easier to personalize content efficiently. I also appreciate the ability to combine captured pages and screenshot pages in the same tour, as well as the easier way to add new pages directly in the builder. On top of that, the refreshed UI feels cleaner and more modern, and the improvements across the editing panels make the whole experience smoother and faster. Overall, these updates have made Saleo Capture more flexible and much easier to work with.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

Same as my last review: Enabling certain features is not self-service and requires support from the Saleo team.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Saleo to customize demos effectively, especially for products with multiple users or complex data, allowing us to tailor UI without backend changes and offer flexibility in demo delivery.

**What do you like best about Saleo?**

As our product has evolved from a handful of key components into a true one-stop platform, Saleo has been essential in helping our Sales Engineering team deliver compelling demos. Without Saleo, I’d be spending half my day creating and customizing dummy demo data. Instead, I can now choose from a few different stories we built once, share them across the team, iterate on them over time, and use them to deliver custom demos. I've used Saleo for 3 years now and the performance has been perfect -- it is quick and never goes down. Their support/onboarding/consulting is top-notch, as well!

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

It takes time to get comfortable building in Saleo; but their UX has improved over time and they've added some great AI features to help with data creation that have made life easier.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better demoability for our sales engineering team. This saves me, and all of our sales engineers, hundreds of hours per year in maintaining a demo org and creating demo stories.

**What do you like best about Saleo?**

The first thing you notice is the polish. My demos look significantly cleaner now, and that "snappiness" makes a huge difference when you're live in front of a prospect. The integration with our platform is so tight that it feels native—nothing feels bolted on. It’s also been the best way to showcase our agentic capabilities without the tech getting in the way. Plus, the support team is actually responsive; I'm never left hanging when I have a weird edge-case question.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

There isn't much to complain about, honestly. If I'm being picky, I’d love for the results to pop in even faster. Speed is everything in a live demo, so shaving off a few more seconds of load time is the only thing on my wish list.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It simplifies the "persona problem." I used to struggle with showing different sides of the product, but now I can toggle between personas effortlessly. Whether it's a basic walkthrough or a complex workflow, I can deliver a deal-winning demo every time without worrying about the platform lagging or breaking.

**What do you like best about Saleo?**

Not only is the product easy to use and flexible, but the team we work with at Saleo is incredible. They’re responsive and extremely knowledgeable. The AI support for updating tokens (we use Tokens heavily) is an amazing feature and a real time-saver, and it’s always on point. Overall, the tool is extremely robust, and we have yet to find something it can’t work with across our tools, including our Slack integrations.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

The only pain point we’ve had is when our internal team makes updates to our product that end up conflicting with Saleo. When that happens, the Saleo team responds quickly and makes the necessary tweaks on their end to get things resolved.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed to demo is a huge win for us with Saleo. What used to take days to build as a customized demo now takes just a couple of hours. And if we need to do a quick “Harbor Cruise demo,” where we used to show a generic brand, I can now put together a branded demo in just a few minutes, which adds a great personal touch.

As a Customer Education team member, I love that Saleo allows us to use realistic, dynamic demo environments without complex setup and the need to maintain data. With Saleo we can build use cases and scenarios that mirror our customers' real-world experiences, which goes a long way for training.

One thing that has come up is the fact that since Saleo works as a browser extension, we cannot always use other extensions in conjunction with it. For example, a video tool we use that is also an extension cannot read Saleo data.

1. It eliminates the need for me to spend hours setting up complex demo environments, saving us significant time and technical resources.

Keep it the same, the ability to customize our demo environments has been key to the various enablement calls I've been on with my partners! :)

Same as before, a dedicated partner demo instance would go miles! :)

Helping us shorten partner time to value by showcasing the platform right on initial calls instead of scheduling follow-up calls at the risk of losing traction and engagement. I like the ability to customize variables so I can tailor the story to multiple customers and adjust it to their specific problems. With Saleo, we can demonstrate what a good sales rep looks like in action by overlaying meaningful metrics on data-driven aspects of our platform. It allows us to speak to more value rather than making prospects imagine if certain features existed. Saleo is quick and helpful in responding to changes, even when our product changes rapidly. The initial setup required significant effort from our Sales Engineering strategy team, but it was thoroughly worth it because it saves much more time compared to manually creating data to show a story.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

Sometimes our product UI changes fast and we have to catch up. But we've combatted this by first rolling out changes to a test environment first that Saleo has access to.

I use Saleo to overlay data and tell compelling data stories, making our platform consistent. Saleo Tours help us showcase demo walkthroughs with value messaging. Customizing variables allows storytelling tailored to customers' problems.

**What do you like best about Saleo?**

The most helpful part of Saleo is that I don’t have to spend as much time prepping my demo org. That gives me more time to focus on the value the customer wants to get out of our tool. Saleo makes that possible by letting me stop worrying about the data and keep my attention on the demo itself.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

I’ve found that the tool works really well about 98% of the time, which makes it very reliable. Every now and then, we run into an issue at the beginning of the month—since a lot of our data is tied to monthly metrics, that period can be more challenging—but overall it has been great.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saleo is helping me spend more of my time focused on the customer outcomes I’m aiming for, rather than getting stuck in the data inside my demo org. It lets me stay centered on the customer’s use case, because I know I have a reliable solution to handle the data piece.

Saleo makes it so much easier to demo as a Sales Engineer. We used to have to spend hours keeping our demo org clean, but having actionable data and stories to tell at the click of a button is a gamechanger. Being able to scale best practices across the team is such a gamechanger

Sometimes you need to be intentional about having multiple tabs open to avoid caching issues - I'm not necessarily sure this is a dig on Saleo though, just a situation where we haven't configured Saleo demos for all areas of our platform yet so we need to be more intentional about what pages we're starting the run-through on

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saleo is making it easier to tell impactful stories while demoing, which is huge for a Sales Engineer like myself. Less time populating dummy data in my demo account means more time for me to be doing the countless other tasks I need to complete on a weekly basis.

**What do you like best about Saleo?**

Saleo provides my team and I the ability to provide story-driven dynamic demonstrations in a more streamlined manner. The fact that it is accessible via web browser extension makes is simple to deploy to the entire PreSales team. The implementation team has been outstanding to work with and provides guidance and feedback regularly. As our use cases spanned multiple product solutions, Saleo was able to help us navigate what would work best for each solution.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

My only dislike with Saleo is more specific to how it needs to connect into our solutions. This prevents certain aspects of our product from not being able to be connected into a Saleo script and instead managed manually, similar to what we did previously without sales. This also has to do with the underlying technology our solutions use but it has prevented us from relying entirely on Saleo for the ensure demo story presentation.

Saleo has allowed us to solve our issues with stale data and use cases not relevant to all customer industries. Saleo also allows us to "tell the story" end-to-end with our integrate solutions more cleanly which makes it easier to focus on our overall product message while providing customers a demo that is valuable and driven by their needs and expectations.

My experience with Saleo has been very positive. What I appreciate most is its ability to create realistic, reliable demos that help customers feel like they’re truly experiencing our solutions in an easy, intuitive way.
I also value the flexibility to build demos in real time, quickly and collaboratively. The platform is fast and reliable, even when handling complex scenarios the experience was excellent. The implementation process was smooth from start to finish, with excellent support throughout. Overall, it has genuinely helped us elevate the way we run and deliver demo engagements.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

I really like the platform, but if I had to point out something that may need improvement, it would be the screen capture process, which sometimes takes a little too much time.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Saleo, we struggled to create consistent, engaging demo environments. Each demo required significant manual preparation and technical effort, and we often had to deal with technical errors, which made it hard to tailor the experience quickly. As a result, our prep times were longer than we wanted.

With Saleo, we can now create dynamic, faster, more customized demos, which helps us engage with customers in an easier and quicker way.

Overall, we’ve reduced demo preparation time and improved consistency and collaboration across the team.

It makes it easy to maintain demo environments and gives teams the ability to quickly tailor demos for different industries, personas, and use cases. Being able to use their AI function to build out additional items and examples is also a huge time-saver.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

The one small downside is knowing when you can and can’t drill into specific data or apply certain user filters. My team relies on detailed clickstreams that spell out what you can and can’t drill into. That said, the value of having completed dashboards and up-to-date data far outweighs this concern. On top of that, our Saleo support team worked with us to ensure we always have the examples we need available.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past, our team had to maintain multiple demo environments. That meant constantly rolling dates and periods forward, along with adding new use cases across all of the sites. Saleo now handles almost all of that for us, so we can spend our time focusing on our core responsibilities instead.

**What do you like best about Saleo?**

We renewed yet again with Saleo for Saleo LIve and the customer success experience. Every solution in this space has clickthrough demos and/or data injection into a production environment. Saleo is the clear leader for the latter, and Saleo Live is crucial for us to tailor data across a huge platform at scale. Saleo live offers dozens of ways to solve the same problem, and that flexibility is incredible to have. All solutions in this space have their shortcomings as injecting data and tailoring at scale across hundreds of different softwares is a very hard challenge to solve. Saleo provides an outstanding customer success team that doesnt dance around any shortcomings, instead, they candidly address them, and they take on the work to ensure our needs are met. They are also very responsive to product feedback and I've very often see that feedback quickly come to life in their roadmap and actual product releases.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

Saleo Capture has provided a ton of value for us, and we use it frequently. However, Saleo is still working to catch up to other companies in the market who were founded on clickthrough demo use case. None of the shortcomings are dealbreakers, but I'm very excited for many usability enhancements to come to Capture. The fact that we can take captures of our custom data injections we made with Saleo Live makes up for the shortcomings. Its also worth noting these competitive gaps with the clickthrough demo use case are very basic functionalities that I believe will be easily improved in the short term.

It's worth noting that for companies with analytical platforms and/or huge product suites: it takes a fair amount of work to get things stood up for Saleo live. It's tedious work that I wish could be automated somehow. Once the initial lift is done, it is very easy to maintain.

**What do you like best about Saleo?**

What I value most about Saleo is that it truly delivers on the value they promise. The platform is unique in its positioning because it solves the biggest anxiety in sales: the unpredictability of a live environment. With Saleo, we can live demo with absolute confidence because we know exactly what data will appear on the platform.

It allows us to fully control the storytelling aspect of the sale. Instead of worrying about broken data or empty fields, we can tailor the narrative to showcase the specific value of our tool for each prospect. It empowers our team to focus on the prospect's needs rather than the stability of the demo environment.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

There is genuinely very little to dislike about the solution. However, for new users, it is important to note that the onboarding and setup process can take longer than simple HTML overlay tools.

This is not necessarily a negative, but rather a necessary investment. Because Saleo creates a robust data structure, the initial setup requires time. The massive upside to this is that once set up, our SCs and SEs have complete control over the data. Saleo makes creating click-thru and simulated demo's so easy.  I've created many Guided and Lite Sandbox demo's in the last few months since we purchased Saleo that were very easy to produce.  Essentially you take a "screenshot" and add links, but it does so much more.  I use it to customize words on screen too, so I can remove my name and add a generic placeholder, or remove content that is in my demo environment that doesn't need to be there for my customer demo scenario.

I've had a few experiences where I couldn't replace images or certain text fields.  But working with my CSM team, they have been able to help me fix these issues as bug fixes in a day or couple day turn around!

Saleo offers my organization several key things.  Create demo click-thru environments with ease and editing for updates is very simple.  Streamling the wording of demo environments into a demo is tough and this makes it easy. I work with large, enterprise companies as my customers and so there's no such thing as a standard demo.  I have to customize every demo for the specific needs and context of my customers.  Prior to Saleo each of these demos would take me multiple hours of preparation and custom scripts and UI changes.  But with Saleo I can easily customize what I need across a broad array of products and websites.  It's so easy and quick to use that I use it for every demo.  Saleo makes the thought of even deep dive custom demos less stressful

Thus far I have not encountered any downsides.  I know that sounds like pie-in-the-sky but everything just WORKS and that makes my job so much easier.

I just gave my first demo with Saleo.    I had both a live demo with saleo image and text replacements and a recorded(Saleo Capture) Demo, also with image and text replacements.   The image replacement was much easier to use than other tools.    The Saleo Capture demos are going to be very important for complex scenarios that are challengin to setup, and I plan on building more of those.     The demos were very quick to prepare(minutes) once I understood the workflow.     I had a few questions along the way and the Saleo team was very responsive and solved the problems quickly.

Adding pages to a capture is a little challengin.    Saleo support provided a solution and it worked well.

Since we joined with Saleo a couple of years ago they have responded to every request we have made in a very timely fashion and released a lot of really great solutions. With every release, being the Sales Engineers that we are, we have lots of requests to add capabilities and new features. The Saleo team not only listens to our suggestions but truly finds ways to incorporate them into their release schedules. It has been a great partnership and we continue to look forward to all of the new innovations they are bringing to market.

Honestly I still feel the same as I did when we joined. There have been no issues that they didn't address immediately or feature requests they didn't take seriously. Really great team focused on building a really great product!

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We create customized experiences for our Prospects and Customers to help them confidently purchase our products. The time it takes to do this currently is between 2 hours to 40 hours in some cases. While we know it is the right approach and required to stand out from our competition, the time and resources required are just not scalable. With Saleo, we will cut that effort down significantly. The broader problem being solved is creating those customized stories that never change (unless on purpose) to be leveraged by the entire company, from Sales to Product to Customer Support. The effort to support and maintain environments across the company is generally the last on the priority list and, in many cases, the most impactful. This technology will help us solve all the objectives and probably still have time to spare.

The easiest to run demos. Just the click of a button, and I can make changes without affecting everyone else

It’s sometimes a bit slow. If I don’t restart the computer or clear the cache, it can start running sluggishly. That said, it could also be due to our computers being slow.

I've supported demos at my company for over 10 years, and no tool has impressed me as much as Saleo. It dramatically reduces the repetitive, manual work that often slows down Solution Engineers—freeing them up to spend more time where it really matters: technical solutioning with customers. Saleo simplifies cumbersome demo prep, eliminates redundant build tasks, and helps SEs deliver high-impact, personalized demos faster and more consistently. It's been a total game changer for how we build and deliver demos at scale.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

Advanced takeovers require us to work with Saleo to implement which takes added time.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saleo dramatically reduces the time Solution Engineers spend preparing for a demo including cumbersome and manual configuration and setup in demo environments. The fact that Saleo works on live software allows Solution Engineers to tell compelling stories that are based on the reality of our live products - no smoke and mirrors.

Easily spin up and copy demo environments. I like that I have pre-defined areas to personalize or with my advanced editing can dive deeper.

Slows tech down...if I pre-load a lot of windows for a demo it can cause the system to slow down or even crash

Customers don't want to see generic demos of technology - they want to see a preview of what it will look like for them. This is only feasible with Saleo - otherwise I'd have to standup and implement a stack for them which takes time and uses up company resources.

**What do you like best about Saleo?**

I had a onsite meeting with a customer where we were conducting a workshop. It was decided just days prior to going onsite that we wanted to show several demos to articulate where we believe the customer would see value in their environment today and in the future using our platform.

Being new to the customers account, I did not have many demo orgs fully built out for the customer up to this point. Understanding that I needed to act quickly and build out a fully connected vision for the customer, I requested a Saleo license and within a three days I was able to enable myself on the Saleo solution and build out an entire demo story with our platform using multiple different demo orgs. This cut down my demo build time by at least 50% or more.

The customer saw tremendous value in the demo that I showed during our onsite meeting. Items like branding the demo with their logo, their internal products that they sell and their verbiage is a must have for such a large and strategic account.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

Not all the time, but sometimes Saleo can cause the demo org to throw errors randomly. I havent pin pointed exactly why that is yet.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since I needed to use multiple different demo environments that had different solutions configured in different ways, using Saleo saved me hours of re configuration. I didnt need to create a new customer branded theme, an entirely new customer app or configure all the contacts, products etc in each separate org. Saleo did all of this for me and I only had to do it one time and then I was able to use Saleo for all the different demo environments. 

The end result was the demo looked like one single unified environment branded specifically for the customer and their use cases.

**What do you like best about Saleo?**

The Saleo team continues to innovate and build new features/functionality quarter over quarter that helps us with our day to day client interactions in platform.  The new features they build also give us new ways to reach out to and engage with our clients in a meaningful way, which has definitely helped us win new business.  They are fast and nimble and adapt with the changes we need them to make to align with how our product has also changed.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

Nothing, they continue to be great partners to work with.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saleo allows us to build custom vertical client campaign examples with full data and platform functionality that look indiscernible from an actual live client campaign.  This capability was a much-needed feature to grow our demo footprint and allow all sellers a much easier way to complete client demos.  The upcoming Saleo Capture tool will allow us to expand our prospecting and client follow-ups by enabling us to send guided walkthroughs of our platform out to our clients.

**What do you like best about Saleo?**

Saleo helps our sales engineers and reps build custom demos based on prospects and customer data.   Before Saleo, there was pressure on product and engineering to build out custom demo environments.   With Saleo our GTM teams demo out-of-production accounts and are customized with the prospect's data.    Now almost every demo is customized with either vertical data (Retail, Financial Services, Travel) or with real prospect data.  This approach has improved our close rates and reduced the amount of time it takes to build custom demos'.  We now have every AE doing their own demos.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

So far, we have not run into anything significant.  We've had a few times where software deployment of new code has caused issues with our existing pages mapped into the tool.   We have seen a roadmap from Saleo to use AI to detect and auto-map changes.   Once that is built no person will have to QA changes.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having to take engineerings time to build out a separate demo environment.  Automate the creation of both industry (vertical-based) demos and custom demos for prospects who give us data.   We are seeing an increase in conversion rate from Demo Complete to Proposal and Plan in our sales stages.   We have also been able to scale sales engineering by saving hundreds of hours in custom demo creation.

Saleo has made demo capture refreshingly simple — the ability to quickly generate realistic, customizable demos without major setup is a huge win. I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to Live demos and fine-tuning data adjustments, but the overall experience has been intuitive. The platform removes friction from the process and lets me focus more on storytelling.

**What do you dislike about Saleo?**

As a newer user, the Live demo configuration takes a bit of trial and error — especially when modifying deeper data elements. A bit more embedded guidance during those workflows would be helpful, but this is minor compared to the time it’s already saving me.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Saleo, building demo environments meant long lead times, manual data entry, and frequent technical issues. Saleo eliminates that by letting me create clean, consistent, and visually accurate product walkthroughs without needing backend changes. It’s drastically reducing prep time for customer demos and giving me more control over the story I tell — especially helpful in presales where time and first impressions matter.

Demo data that makes sense without trying to always fake data that can't be constantly maintained. Easy to upload tables for cohesive storytelling. Logical to upload. Straight-forward administration. Click to play feature and refresh is a no-brainer for those that aren't technical.

I love love love the ability to create custom stories and make a library that is not available to the entire organization. I'm just now exploring the possibilities of Live & Capture, but the ability to tailor tokens as an SE with the bulk of the work being done by the admin is a scalability DREAM.

requires a good communication between product roll outs and deployment, but it also helps with expediting this to the demo-market faster

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data that I have to manually fake just to tell a compelling narrative. Solves and removes repetitive manual labor that sucked hours from the plates of sales engineers and sales people across the entire organization. Time upfront integration saves hours and hours of work and sanity down the road.

With more and more AI being deployed in products, you can't easily fake your way through telling a compelling story. We need the data to tell the story and Saleo allows us to visualize that data within our product.

TLDR; - I like it very much - We did an extensive evaluation - Saleo Live has unique features that solve a major demo challenge - I highly recommend Saleo 

The Challenge 
Crafting relevant and customized narratives within our solution demanded a matching level of customized data. However, manually generating such data, reflective of real-world content sharing and consumption patterns, posed significant challenges. Despite exploring various methods, none offered scalability to meet our requirements. We sought a solution capable of generating synthetic data at scale, tailored precisely to our demo tenants' needs. 

The Journey 
Our journey to finding the perfect demo automation tool spanned nine months, during which we carefully evaluated several solutions. Saleo stood out from the competition for numerous reasons. Unlike other tools we considered, Saleo Live’s ability to front data into our live demo tenants was unmatched. Additionally, while other tools required significant rework whenever the user interface was updated, Saleo seamlessly adapted to changes, saving us valuable time and resources. 

Speed of Delivery and Value from Day 1 
One of the standout features of Saleo is its remarkable speed of delivery. Within a week of having the deal completed, we had our kickoff with the implementation team and by the next week, we had the team in the tool, making changes to the demo tenants. The Saleo team came to the table informed and ready to help us get the most out of the tool. I appreciated the fact that Saleo invested in so many tools for keeping their customers updated throughout the implementation process. I was also impressed by the detail of the implementation plan. 

Fronting Data to our Live Demo Tenants 
This is a nuanced point, but experienced presales professionals will understand what I mean here. I’ve seen lots of Demo Automation tools that generate something that “looks” like your solution but in fact, is not. That was a non-starter for me in our evaluation process. I wanted a tool that improved our existing demo tenants. What truly sets Saleo Live apart is its capability to insert live data directly into our platform. As the only company with this groundbreaking feature, Saleo Live empowers us to provide dynamic, real-time demonstrations that resonate on a deeper level. This isn’t about what I don’t like about Saleo, but I feel it's important to address some areas here. One notable challenge we encountered was the general confusion surrounding demo automation tools within the industry. It’s still a new category and one that is in dire need of refinement and clarification. Navigating through the demo automation market required us to dive deep into the solutions to truly understand what problem they are trying to solve, which initially presented a hurdle in understanding the distinctions between offerings. However, once we clearly defined our requirements and started the evaluation process, it became evident that Saleo stands apart by offering something truly unique.

**What problems is Saleo solving and how is that benefiting you?**
