What do you like best about Sailthru by Marigold?

Loyalty - it really does pay to not switch CRM tools every few years. I'd recommend building a good rapport over a number of years with your chosen platform, the benefits can often outweigh the small upside of saving a few £'s. This does not mean you do not challenge them when the tough questions come round.

Customer focussed - the support I've received is second to none. After the first year of using Sailthru, the main reason for signing up to a second term with Sailthru was due to the timely support I received in the critical first year of setting up Sailthru.

Staying one step ahead - Sailthru values feedback, they are always looking to find out what makes us marketers tick, and with that build solutions to fit our needs.

In the four years I have used Sailthru I have seen the tool make huge steps forwards, mainly in adding new features, revamping the look and feel of the product.

Also, ever wondered what is the best time to send an email? Well the answer is, it's different for each customer/user. Sailthru has a tool out of the box which will help you personalise the send time for each customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly - nothing comes to mind.

What do you like best about Sailthru by Marigold?

SailThru powers all of the marketing promotions and triggered campaigns for our company, Raise. The lifecycle flows take seconds to build all within one interface, and we use these to target specific audience segments via email and/or push. Within every email, we use SailThru's algorithms to feature personalized product recommendations based on our shoppers' browsing and purchase behavior—this has generated up to 10x lift in conversion for our personalized campaigns. We've been partnered with SailThru for almost two years now. In the beginning, SailThru Mobile (push) was a bit disconnected from email, but recently it has become integrated within their core platform. At Raise, our goal is to move 40% of new buyers to their second purchase within the first 30 days. What do you like best about Sailthru by Marigold?

It is very easy to create emails and sending campaigns. The new template builder has drag and drop functionality that doesn't require a lot know how. It is also easy to see how many clicks or % where on the single items in the email. And the campaign summery shows the important things in one view.

What do you dislike about Sailthru by Marigold?

The new template builder is more the email builder now and therefore needs some more functionality like copy & paste from one "template" to another (apparently in progress). What do you like best about Sailthru by Marigold?

Sailthru's API allows us to constantly update customer data and custom variables on every customer to monitor their promotions, their eligibility for certain promotions or marketing.

The web interface has elements which could do with a revamp but it's functionally pretty well equipped for most tasks.

Even hunting through the history of a campaign's emails or a customer's received emails over their lifetime is super fast.. Analysis of any big sales campaign is super well visualized so we know how much revenue we're generating in real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sailthru by Marigold?

Custom variables on older customers can become rather cluttered - but we do have the option of deleting older and unused variables, which we should make use of!

Not being able to access certain user information in the lifecycle optimizer has frustrated us. The Lifetime Value and Lifetime Num Purchases information is available through their APIs and in the customer's view on the site but not accessible inside a lifecycle optimizer, for example. What this means is that we cannot exclude customers from certain cheaper marketing tactics if they have a strong history of purchase behavior with us. If we want that, we have to record our own custom vars to do with LTV and RPR ourselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We manage all of our email communication through Sailthru. It knows when to send the email using personalized send time for each customer to have the best chance of it being opened and clicked on. It tracks all revenue, click rate and open rate. It lets us manage a lifecycle of emails where we send a series of emails until the person makes a purchase. It allows us to A/B split test different ideas for an email to see which one performs better (eg. showing a discount percentage vs. showing the discounted price vs. hiding the discount and price altogether). What do you like best about Sailthru by Marigold?

Sailthru is a great platform for email marketers in the ecommerce space. Their platform was build for an ecommerce centric business and have focused alot of their attention around their AI and Predictive Analytics. This has made a huge impact on our success and is what I like most about the platform to date. What do you dislike about Sailthru by Marigold?

One of the major dislikes about this platform is that they were build around 1 business model and that is ecommerce. While my company is an ecommerce business we aren't your traditional ecommerce site. We have alot of specific use cases as it relates to data, tracking, and reporting that Sailthru wasn't able to support during the implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Make sure that if you are not a traditional ecommerce business that you lay out all of your business needs, data needs, etc. before implementing. This would require a proper RFP document to be put in place, but it is definitely worth it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
