What I like best is the transaction fee: 3/4 of a percent plus a couple of dollars.. We sell registrations to our annual conference. We are very low volume and therefore pay high CC fees. Our reg fees for a 3 day conference are around $500. If you add 2-3 % to the 3%+ that MC/Visa et al charge, the fee becomes exorbitant, i.e., $40 instead of $20. Even $20 is high for most people. In my research rsvpbook was unique in this price structure. It is very advantageous for selling big ticket items. The extra $2-3 flat rate added to the percentage is a relatively small part of the total charge in this scenario. It would not be so advantageous for small-ticket low-volume items. It is pretty easy to learn and worked well for us. Tech support by email is very responsive, often in minutes, though not 24x7. You can also call but I never needed to. I expected there to be online documentation. There is, but it is for very old versions of the software. It became clear to me after months, that they have built in explanations where you click a question mark icon next to each feature and you get a pop-up box explaining how to use it. Further questions should be addressed to tech support. They should have made clear that was the strategy and removed access to the on-line documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
