What do you dislike about Rocket TMON One?

No support for z/OS encryption services or USS Shared Memory. Both are completely invisible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rocket TMON One solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use both STROBE and TMON for system and application performance monitoring. When we can repeat the problem, we use STROBE. When the problem occurs at random we use TMON. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

we are mainly using this ASG-TMON Performance Analyzer for analyzing the network performance across the globe as we used have heavy network latency while accessing the servers abroad. this tool is helping to analyze them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rocket TMON One?

Several standout features for this product. The first is ease of use for a new user along with robust functionality for the seasoned performance analyst/system admin. The second is the powerful scripting capabilities allowing for rapid metrics gathering across all servers, and the automation of any task that is done through the GUI. For larger data centers, balancing monitored servers across several TMON PA managers can be a little bulky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rocket TMON One solving and how is that benefiting you?

-rapid in-flight issue diagnosis

-force multiplier - one employee effectively manages hundreds of servers running dozens of disparate applications

-effective capacity planning for accurate budgeting

-producing charts that effectively represent the health of a suite of servers, and sending them on demand/scheduled to internal client management teams as well as to clients themselves.

-effective resource management, using the Performance Analyzer to distribute compute load efficiently, maximizing resources without impacting performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
