ReviewStudio allows our team to hold each other accountable for rounds of revisions, transparency on communication, and and easy way to get our clients involved with their project. We use the platform on a daily basis for internal and exteral reviews as well as using it as a way to deliver final files to clients. Overall our external users find the tools super useful when they take the time to actually utilize them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall I find myself wishing for more tools rather than changes to the existing ones. I would love to be able to have an approval choice of "default to [user]" or something similar to indicate someone else's comments are the last word. Or an "Obstain" option for those who don't have an opinion.
I would also like to forward comments that were not addressed on previous drafts.
And lastly an expansion of the workflow tools would be great. We have yet to incorporate workflows due to some of the nitty gritty details that would make it work for our office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Total control over the review process, comparison of changes over the design process, documentation features. Overview over running projects, Archiving function. Assign content to specific users, which should only see projects they are involved in. review of critical content without the risk of changing word or PDF files. Video review, feedback to timepoints can be given. compare mode, side by side comparison of versions during a project. Task assignment via @name, each reviewer sees questions or feedback to him already in emails. Compared to other review solutions fair pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There could be a bit more workflow support like automatic reminders if reviewer miss deadlines. Missing option to copy open items to a successor version to keep track about open unresolved issues during the review process. Option to upload office documents without creation of a PDF is missing. ReviewStudio makes it easy to create a proof and share it with reviewers. The interface is straightforward and well thought out. All the tools are easy to use and easy to navigate. Easy experience for our reviewers all around. Sales and development staff can easily reach you by email for questions or problems. After our purchase, we had a virtual meeting to review all the software features and explain features we would like added in the future. Development was very accommodating in listening to our concerns and suggestions for future enhancements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The proofing viewer was a little different than our previous solution, and there were several features we did not understand. Still, once we began using the platform more and more, it became second nature when creating proofs and reviewing. They have been very accommodating in explaining all features to ensure our switch was a success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about ReviewStudio is the ease of use and implementation team-wide. We were looking for a solution to proof graphic images when we came across a blog post about the "10 Best" whatever it said "collab tools/software/proofing," etc, and having used other tools in the past as far back as the mid-2000s most seemed like worse versions than what I remembered, until Review Studio. I signed up for our company and was very happy to see the tool itself was top-notch, but when I reached out to customer support to answer some of the dozens of Q's that were coming to mind, I was pleasantly surprised how responsive and caring they were. That sealed the deal for me right there. Great tools are nice, but when it's crunch time and you need help and can't get it, it doesn't matter. Conversely, when you need it and know you can count on them, it's a game changer. Using it nearly every day for multiple aspects of our publishing projects, it's nice to know the reliability is there, and it's a no-brainer to keep using it. The other only thing worse than bad support is justifying keeping something around that's a "love/hate" relationship. With Review Studio, you can have the good with the great. The different plan limitations. I'm sure, like anyone, it would be nice to have more features on the lower tier plans and lower pricing on the upper. It's still very much worth it as it's a premium product, but if that ever changed, I wouldn't be upset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm able to capture comments and feedback from clients in one place. I love that I can load PDFs and URLs from blog posts and website updates for review to gather feedback. I also like that I can check off items as I get them done and tag clients with questions, and set review deadlines and reminders automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one draw back is that I can't load emails from MailChimp, Constant Contact or other email marketing testt drafts into here easliy. I use a work around of loading PDFs into it. I'd love to see the product expand and offer something where you can send a test email to be reviewed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are a design bureau with 20-30 designers. We implemented Review Studio, this is our third year using it as a handy tool, and it has enhanced the value proposal we offer to our clients. It even has become an advantage over our competitors and a truly differentiator. Using Review Studio has increased our client's confidence in the company and has helped make our workflow more dynamic. Review Studio is so intuitive and user-friendly that it has made it easy for our clients to learn and use, making our reputation better as a company. We use RS daily, and it is very easy for the designers in the company to implement it as a Reviewing tool. Also, we have fewer mistakes in the art proofing and making. I wrote Customer Service when I was not sure how to upgrade my subscription and my questions where all cleared out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of our team members speak English, but not all of them; We would love to have a Spanish version of the plattform aswell as the courses for the Designers. We would love a session to sum up the whole team using Review Studio. I have not yet contacted Customer Support to ask if it can be done in Spanish.
Sometimes, the client notifications don't arrive whenever there is an update or an art upload. I would love to have a more reliable notification email for the clients and the people involved in each Review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ReviewStudio is very intuitive and easy to onboard and adopt into a workflow. The interface makes organization very simple. Our favorite features are the collaboration functions that support multiple users with different roles and tthe in-platform notification feature, saving time on communication. Customer support is very responsive, helpful, and open to feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There a number of features that we had requested that could be useful and further make the process more efficient but other than that the only thing we dislike is the ongoing challenges we have with a specific version of MacOs. Sporadic issues that are being looked at by the team at ReviewStudio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Creation of a customizable environment for the client to access images/videos
- Comprehensive annotation tools for feedbacks (drawing tool, attaching files...)
- Dynamic hierarchy among users
- Constant evolution of the system Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've had some issues with minor bugs, but I can see that they're working on fixing them in the tool. Other than that, I don't have anything else to highlight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is solid and always works. Our clients like it to submit feedback in an orderly way and seeing what everybody is saying. It parallel works as an inhouse tool to communicate without our teams and has questions and answers in one location.
We use reviewStudio daily with all our clients. We just had a client we are doing the first animation with - and they were so relieved that it also works for moving pictures ;)
Their team is very responsive to questions, feature requests and interacts quickly and decisive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That is a difficult question - and more my problem then ReviewStudio's - as the platform develops, I sometimes struggle with keeping up with new features or changed procedures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
