We recently made the decision to move away from Trustpilot, mainly to save some money, but also to better utilise reviews on our website and marketing efforts.

The team at Reviews.io made this process incredibly easy, with our previous Trustpilot reviews beginning to appear on our Reviews.io profile within a matter of days. After a quick converstaion with Adam, we were also able to get our product reviews live on our website. I'm excited to continue to work with Reviews.io and discover new ways to use our company and product reviews to drive conversions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only downside I've noticed is it takes a while for changes made on our account to appear on our public profile, however Reviews.io are transparent about this and say it can take up to 30 minutes for updates to appear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I liked that they considered my preference to speak with specific support team members when I really needed to. The right people in their team are very supportive through every step and also help communicate that to their development teams when needed. I dislike that at times the support members can be a little reckless and jump to conclusion of fixing issues, without clearly stating their next steps and the impacts it causes to our Shopify store. And also some team members are more hands on than others when it comes to helping with more specific cases. When not so lucky with the support person, I felt like I was going in circles at explaining the issue and they were not understanding the levels I already previously took to fix the issue into considreation. Really, there is not much to stay here.

They do collect reviews, they display them on your site.

It integrates with Klaviyo and all the big platforms, but so does everyone else.

They charge a lot for their service and it is crap, and they offer a lot of features, but most of them are useless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We switched from stamped to reviews.io after a sales call. They had a special going on where they gave you more features for their second highest tiered plan at the time. I even took a screenshot of their sales page.

When I signed up, I did not get all the features like Instagram and ugc. I had to go back and forth with customer service to get it, and then a week later, they took some away...

If you are on Magento, most of the things do not work. You cannot even display review stars on the top of the page.

Their email has crap deliverablity. Originally we had setup a dedicated sending domain, and they just removed it. When I tried to resolve it with customer service it took forever, and they did not know what was going on. In general, no matter how trivial or straightforward the issue is, customer service always drags it on. For example I wanted to cancel the service and it took overall over 2h of my time and over a week to get it resolved, and even then they got the date wrong at first.

We have moved on to rapidreviews, which load much faster, have a responsive support, we collect a lot more reviews than we did with reviews.io for the same number of traffic.

If you want to export your reviews, you have to do so while you are still on their higher tiered plans. When you on the free plan it no longer works. So get your stuff while you can.
